I would love a fantastic portrait of our goofy boxer Hugo! My favorite thing about him is his maloclusion and when he sleeps a little piece of his tongue sticks out (we call it his little ham slice)!
Jesica says
Paint my Pet…I have had 2 great dogs: a weimaraner and a malamute. I now have a golden retriever and a beagle. It would be hard to pick my favorite. They have all been really good dogs.

PAINT MY PET! We have a Miniature Australia Shepherd named Parker who I would love captured on canvas! He’s never met a ball he wouldn’t chase and loves to wake us up in the morning by snuggling up and giving us sloppy wet kisses.

My dog has horrible gas — when he lets one rip it scares him so badly he’ll often run out of the room.
Did I mention he’s a big, scary Rottweiler? A scary Rottweiler OF LOVE!

Our toy yorkie, Buddy, is the baby of the family. Actually, he’s our only “kid” and we love him to death. Being an only child has its advantages though…he’s spoiled rotten! :)

PAINT MY PET!
Our beaglier (beagle/cavalier King Charles spaniel mix) is the neighborhood nuisance… but you can’t fault him for it because he’s so cute and cuddly. Before I leave for work, I lean down to his level and he licks my nose. Don’t tell my husband, but it’s always my favorite kiss of the day ;)

PAINT MY PET!!!
We would have our Goldendoodle Brady painted. He’s 80lbs but still thinks he a lap dog :O) He’s so lovable, overly friendly, shaggy and looks like a cross between a muppet and a polar bear! We love our Bradydoodle SO much! (#bradydoodle on instagram :O)

I would get my 8lb Yorkiepoo painted, he is the sweetest little monster! When he gives you the puppy eyes after one of his many discresions you just can’t be mad!
Annie says
PAINT MY PET! Well, actually, paint my Mama’s pet, Toby! He’s a fuzzy little toy poodle that barks too much, licks too much and is generally crazy. But he makes my Mama SO happy and she adores him, so we ought to make this happen. ;)
Linda G says
PAINT MY PET! I would love to have a painting of our family pet (my first dog). He’s getting older, and I’m painfully aware that he won’t always be with us. We’re constantly trying to come up with ways to spoil him lately, to let him know we still love him and not just the toddler in the house!

I would have our lovable German Shepherd, Baxter, painted. He is loyal, obedient, and incredibly sweet! Plus he plays basketball (as evidenced by the fascinating video I uploaded about a month ago)!
Tara H says
Paint my pet!! We would use this for a painting of our sweet Maddie-dog! She was a stray we found in a rough downtown area 3 years ago TODAY! She was 35lbs when we found her and now weighs in at a healthy 75lbs! She is our baby and we would love to get to celebrate her with this!
Hillary says
PAINT MY PET! Hank would be the cutest pet to be painted, because he looks like a showdog and acts like ragamuffin!
Lori says
PAINT MY PET!! My adorable bulldog, Samantha who is super sweet, loving and snuggly. She has quite an underbite, and sometimes her upper lip gets stuck on her bottom teeth, and she makes the funniest face! Cracks me up! She’s a good girl and I can’t think of a better place for her silly face than a Lesli Devito portrait! Woof!
Leslie says
PAINT MY PET! Our German Shepherd boy and our pit bull mix girl would love to be on the wall!

I would love to have our 2.5-year-old Golden Retriever, Izzy, painted. She has the most expressive face, sweetest disposition, and utmost patience with our very busy 19-month-old son (who would just LOVE to see a big painting of his puppy every day). :)

PAINT MY PET! Since I don’t have a legit pet…I would give this to a neighbor/friend who loves her dog like a child!

PAINT MY PET! I would love nothing more then to honor the memory of our Ernie. He was just six years old when he was diagnosed with leukemia in March. Ernie was an English Pointer…his tail was like a whip it would clear the coffee table with one swoop. He loved to swim in the lake…if my children were out swimming he would swim circles around them and would only come to shore to go to the bathroom or when the kids came in. We got Ernie when I was six months pregnant with our second child…after Jack was born he and Ernie were best friends. Jack would pull on Ernie’s ear, pull the flaps on his nose, he even bit his tail…all Ernie would do is get up and walk away. Ernie had some strange habits he slept with a blanket covering his entire body. He would always wake up around 5:00 a.m. and come upstairs to go back to sleep in front of the vent on the wall(when the furnace came on). He loved the sun…he would “lay” out for hours…we called him Magda (from Something About Mary) because his stomach would get a tan. We miss him every day. Recently we adopted a pointer mix from a local animal rescue named Seamus…he has quickly found a way into our hearts. Thanks for listening.

Paint my pet! For years, I’ve watched other people and their pets and tried to draw similarities between the pets and their owners. It was always funny when the owner of the Great Dane was over 6 feet tall or the sheepdog’s owner had bangs in her eyes. So, I was a little nervous to get my dog–what if I ended up with a drooly mouth or ratty hair? :)
She is the first grandbaby–fur or otherwise–in the family. And she loves her status as such. From the personal treats and phone calls from my father, to the special bandannas from my friends, to the workplace privileges she enjoys, Henrietta (better known as Henny) is unique and loved.
As my first baby, I would love to have a keepsake picture of her for the house to hang–letting guests, friends, and visiting dogs know how important she is :)

I would definitely have my chihuahua Rolo painted. He is 7 years old and my loving quirky lil guy. He has been my right hand man these past 7 years and has moved with me 3 times. I love how he smiles when I come home and is always happy to see me. He makes my house a home! <3

We have a 9 year old Australian Shepherd named Boomer. Boomer is FANTASTIC! He has one blue eye and one brown. He is lovable and loyal, insists on herding us because we refuse to give him any type of farm animal, is extremely vocal about his need for attention/food/water/to be let out and is the sworn protector of our home. He was our baby before we had real a real baby and 2 years after our Clara’s birth has finally forgiven us for bringing her home (having figured out she is very generous with treats of all kinds). He is very smart and knows over 30 commands, is completely house broken and sometimes I think he really does know how to talk but is pulling a fast one on us.

My pup Parker. He is six and a chihuahua just like Burger. Maybe they should be pen pals? I like having him around because he is super fantastic and loves belly rubs and walks around the park.

“PAINT MY PET!” I would LOVE to have a painting of my late cat Peanut. She was more cat than dog and would follow me around the house and had the funniest meow that sounded like a small bark. I love how fun and bright Lesli’s paintings are, they would be perfect for a special piece to complete my gallery wall. Cheers!

I’d have my only pet, my lab mix Piper, painted. Piper’s newest quirk is that right around 7:00am on the dot, she decides after a night of sleeping in her own bed, that she would like to join us in ours – not curled up at the foot of the bed like you would imagine most dogs, but all 80 pounds of her plopped right smack in the middle of my boyfriend and I, head on the pillow and everything.

I’d love a painting of my cat. One trait that sets him apart from other felines is that he loves to play fetch!

PAINT MY PET!
I would get my 10yr old black lab, Mojo, painted. He was a birthday gift from a friend whose family bred dogs for my 16th birthday. His best personality trait is he really believes he is a person! Acts just like one.

We have two cats, but I’m going to say we’d want to paint the younger one, Milky. We got her right after getting engaged, she is my husband’s first pet EVER, and she is so great with our 3 and 1 year old boys. The best.
Lindsey says
PAINT MY PET! I’m 29 and my dog Charlie is the first pet I’ve ever had. He has the best personality and plenty of quirks, including his love of feet licking!

oh please oh please oh please pick me! I just love my little rescue mutt, more than words can say! She has a split tongue (happened before we adopted her) and my husband lovingly refers to it as her “turkey bacon tongue.”
Adrienne says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have my lab Lyza painted. She is just a great dog to me and has so much personality. She immediately rolls on her back for a belly rub for anyone she encounters and has the funniest snort while swimming….luckily we finally have the loud/stinky gas passing under control.
Amanda says
PAINT MY PET! I would love my dads French bulldog Blake to be painted. He’s getting up there in years and I know my dad would treasure a painting forever. He has such personality from cannon balling onto your lap (he’s pure mass) to snoring on your pillow.

PAINT MY PET!
Our sweet Wheaten Terrier Mix – Murphy. He was first rescued from a puppy mill by a no-kill shelter and was then adopted by a family; unfortunately due to their child’s aggression toward Murphy, they were no longer able to keep him and that’s where we came in.
Murphy is the absolute star of our show; he is fun, quirky, twitchy, and the most lovable little fluffy pup you’ve ever seen. Despite being moved from place to place for the first year of his life, Murphy is so kind and patient. And with our first little human baby on the way, a 20×20 painting of our fur baby would definitely show him that he still has the same huge place in our hearts. :)
(Not to mention, he’s SUPER cute;)
Megan says
PAINT MY PET! I would have both my pups painted if I could – my puggle Buster and my lab mix puppy Brody! Buster is very emo (with the black eyeliner and all) and Brody is a big goofball. Love them!
Nicole says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my two kitties, Chester and Willie, painted because they are so sweet and cuddly!
Sarah T says
PAINT MY PET! We have two rescue cats, Lilly and Muse, who both love to burrow under the covers with us.
Alexandra Schelling says
Paint my pet! I would have my year and a half year old American Pit Bull Terrier, Mia, painted!
Tara says
PAINT MY PET!! I have an english setter named London, who loves to hunt, but also loves walks in the park, turkey dinner and belly rubs. She has one ear that always looks longer than the other because of the length of her hair (momma has to keep cutting it!)

I would want to get my step-moms Dauchshund painted. He recently passed away and this would be a great memorial to our quirky and loyal little Wagner.

My beagles Maggie & Gracie — although they don’t photograph well (it’s like they know they’re being photographed and make weird faces) so I may have to stalk them with a camera to get a good shot first :)

PAINT MY PET! My dog Francine is adorable and totally deserves to be immortalized in a portrait!

PAINT MY PET! I’d pick my dog Louie. He’s a sweet cuddler and loves bacon!

PAINT MY PET!
We just got our first pet and we LOVE him. We are those people that show pictures of him to everyone. Weird. We love when he “talks”/howls in his sleep. I hope he’s dreaming of chasing squirrels or belly rubs.
Lindsey says
Paint my pet! hmm, I think that we would choose to get Ringo, our tuxedo cat, painted. We have a new puppy, but senority has to count for something! Ringo is great because he loves water. Anytime a person goes near a faucet or shower he jumps into the basin/tub. Such a funny kitty!
