And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

Mu (our dog) is funny and loves to smile but I’d choose my Little Guy (17 year old cat) to be painted. He passed a year and a half ago and we think about him all the time.

We have two babies–Wilson and Lucy. They are both Havenese mixes and are the best puppies you could ask for. I would love for them to be painted because they always make both my husband and myself smile and feeled loved everyday and we would love to capture that feeling in a painting!

PAINT MY PET. Pretty please :)
I love Lesli’s work and I think she’d have a great time painting a portrait of our Mr. Beaver, a charismatic and very young looking 14+ year old Carin Terrier. You know the saying “who rescued whom” referring to rescue dogs and their forever families … well that’s the short version of the mutual love affair we have with him. I’ve taken a few good photos of Beaver and even turned one into an Andy Warhol-esque type of art using Photoshop and have that on canvas, but a Lesli original would be such a special way to capture forever our wonderful boy. As always youngsters … thanks. Robin

Mine would have to be my wonderful rescue mutt, Beans. He is a big ball of pitbull snuggly love.
Robyn G says
PAINT MY PET! I definitely belong to my dog, Maverick, more than he belongs to me! He’s most comfortable when every part of his body is touching mine (like in the crook of my legs when I’m curled up on the couch). He sleeps under the covers with me, and thinks my face is an appropriate pillow 99% of the time.

PAINT MY PET! I would have a painting of my adorable pup hanging in my living room. His energy, quirky personality and love makes me smile everyday.
Katie Arnol.d says
Paint My Pet! I would have my chihuahua Batman painted! He is the greatest, weirdest pet that has ever existed.

PAINT MY PET!
We just recently got a new puppy named Leo! He is half Shih Tzu and half Yorkie. He’s the runt and he fits in my palm! Having him around has lifted my spirits while I’m going through a very emotionally difficult period.
Jennie Toepfer says
PAINT MY PET, please!!! I have four granddogs who love their granny. I go let them out while their mommy is working and they love it especially when I scratch their backs. I have their pictures on my wall and would love to add the painting to the gallery. Got my fingers crossed!

My dog, Duke. He loves to snuggle!
Kate says
PAINT MY PET!! I’d want to have my weimaraner (Cooper) painted. He’s so smart and expressive and most of the time he’ll let us do whatever we want to him (ie. Kong/treat balanced on head, wear sunglasses or a tie, etc.)
Sarah says
Paint my Pet! I’d get a 2fer…of my cats Ziggy Marley and Dexter. They’re like puppy dogs the way the follow me around. People that say cats are aloof and snobby have just never had awesome cats like these…

My pup rules the house. A portrait on the wall only seems fitting for her kingdom.

I would love to have both of our pups painted (Phoenix and Isis). They are both rescues and so special to us – Phoenix is 7 and we actually adopted him when we lived in the UK and brought him back to the States a few years ago. Isis is 8 months and we adopted her recently from a local rescue org here in VA :) Thanks for the giveaway!

I just have a dog, Owen Smedley. He’s actually having a bad day with hip joints today. He’s showing his signs of age, but he’s been the sweetest dog since he was a pup.
Alicia C. says
Paint my pet! We have two rhodesian ridgeback rescues who are like night and day. I would want to get both of them painted so she could cover one and we could cover the other. They are lately very nervous about all the new stuff that is coming into our house in preparation for our first baby (3rd child). We still have 15 weeks so hopefully they will get used to the strollers and things before then!

Paint My Pet! Awe! So sweet, my white lab will be 6 April 30! My first baby!

PAINT MY PET PLEASE!!!
My brother/siter duo – George & Weezie – would love to be immortalized and hung on our wall. They were king and queen until our son was born :)

I am very torn on which pet I would get painted, my blue eyed husky, Mya, or my old man, Miko. I’d probably go with the old man since he has seniority. haha… He was my dog from a past relationship and came with me when I moved out of that house and into my life with my husband. Even tho he obviously loves my husband more than me, he is his shadow, he has been with me through some really rough times in my life, so I would love for him to be painted :)

I’d love a painting of Lola, my adorable calico cat. Plus, her 1-year adoptiversary (it’s totally a word) is coming up at the end of October. She is definitely in the running for cutest cat ever and she has only gotten more affectionate towards me (and others) over time, even though I adopted her from a family friend at 2 years old. Best attribute: head-butting. She’s a pro.

Dear friend has a miniature schnauzer that is very cute but spoiled rotten and just an absolute lover to his “people”. Would make the best gift!
Paula I. says
PAINT MY PET!
I would get our dog, Gwendolen, a welsh corgi, painted because my husband loves her (almost?) as much as he loves me. Maybe. :) And he deserves it.

“PAINT MY PET!”
We have 3 pets and each one finished a part of my heart (that I did not realize existed before having pets) when they joined our family. My husband had 2 of them painted for me, but we have added to the family with a rescue. I would chose to paint her.
Stephanie says
PAINT MY PET! I would actually want to have a friend’s pet painted. The sweetest dog you would ever meet. Her name was Sky. She had cancer and had to be put to sleep today. She was truly my friend’s best friend and it would be amazing to be able to give her a memory like this.

PAINT MY PET!
I’d love to have my greyhound, Devi, painted. She is a retired
racing dog, and her racing name was “RT’s She-Devil.” The trainers called her “Devi” for short. When we adopted her, she already knew “Devi,” so we kept the name. After a Google search, we discovered “Devi” is the Hindu Goddess of Power and Destruction. Coolest.Name.Ever. But our Devi is a sweet girl. :)

I would want my Siamese cat Nellie painted so that she can stare at her portrait instead of spending hours looking at herself in the mirror(no joke!)
Abbey says
PAINT MY PET!!
I would have my pug, Tank, painted. Tank is so loving and if you are sitting down, he has to be on your lap. He also always barks when Wheel of Fortune is on. He thinks it is the doorbell ringing and it cracks me up every time :)

I would have to get my chihuahua painted… Pepinot! He’s my first child :)

PAINT ME PET!
I would have to buy a second one because I have two dogs, equally as cute as the other. I wouldn’t know where to start on what makes them unique. They’re both giant, nutty, shaggy mutts.
Amber says
PAINT MY PET! We have 2 kitties we would love to get painted (well, not literally). Fun!
Bridget Davis says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my darling little Coconut painted. He is an adorable white bichon poodle mix. One thing I love about him is that every morning when I walk him, he makes me stop at the laundromat around the corner because the owner feeds him treats. Our morning walk is not complete unless we stop there!!
Margaret says
Paint my pet! I would have to get a pianting of Remington, my pit mix. She’s selectively really intelligent, as in won’t come when called, but has figured out how to open and close the bathtub drain. go figure!
Pallie says
PAINT MY PET!!
We just have our one sweet dog, Lizzey. We adopted her two years ago and we can’t imagine our life without her. She was older when we adopted her and so they had been unable to find a home for her. Those people totally missed out because she is awesome!
When we first got her, she didn’t wag her tail and was scared of new people in general. Now, she is a tail wagging fool and is a lot better with “strangers” at home.
Holly Faske says
PAINT MY PET!!!
Well, I’d prefer both our dog and cat to be painted…but if I HAD to choose, probably our dog, Hudson. He is a beautiful Husky/Lab mix. He’s the best dog ever – so obedient, fun, cuddly, good with our 15-month old son, and LOVES people and people love him!!

I would love to have opne of these portraits for my little dog Champ.

Sadly our wonderful dog Abbey, passed away last spring at almost 15! Our favorite memory of her is definitely the fact that her feet smelled like corn chips! We called them her Fritoes!

I love watching my dog Lucy stalk squirrels and I marvel at her ability to discern whether I’m emptying clean dishes from the dishwasher or putting dirty ones(that have something potentially lickable on them!)in.

I’d have my 2 Eskies (Jax & Champ) painted. I think they’d fight to have prime space in the front :)
Chelsea {Whatcha Makin' Now?} says
PAINT MY PET! I would have our puppy Henry painted. He’s a 10 month old french brittney. He is our first pet as a married couple and thus our first child. He melts my heart daily, but I especially love how he carries around his big ol’ knuckle bone in his mouth and still tries to lick his lips with tongue. Very funny sight!
Allie says
PAINT MY PET!! I would love to paint my dad’s dog Max! He was rescued as a pup a few years ago and has made my dad’s life so much more exciting!
Carol Ph says
Paint My Pet! Ginger is 4 year old Yellow Lab. She is most adorable when I come home everyday and she is so happy to see me!

PAINT MY PET!
We just got a kitten (as in last week) and his name was Peach until we found out he was a boy. He’s in the market for a new name but Rex Ryan keeps popping up as an option because he bites feet.

PAINT MY PET!
I would have my lovable peak-a-poo, Capree, painted :). She’s been our family pet for almost 12 years now, and I couldn’t imagine coming home everyday without her there! She does make my husband jealous sometimes :). She still acts like a puppy, and is so fun…although, she’s not very social with other animals…eek.

PAINT MY PET!!!
My dog’s name is Cooper. We rescued him from the pound about 5-6 years ago. He has been a great addition to our family and we love him to death. I would love a pic because he is part cocker and lab and you can never find any pre made pictures that look enough like him so this would be great!
Kristen says
PAINT MY PET! I’d want a painting of our current goldendoodle, Roxy! What makes her especially loveable is her adorable little face. It’s impossible to ever be angry at her! But her cuteness lets her get away with murder in our house!
katie says
PAINT MY PET!! I would want my chubby cat Hamilton painted, who can switch from sweet to jerk in about six seconds flat.
Nicole says
Paint my pet! Our dog, Moxie, is an Australian Shepherd mix and is the first dog my husband and I have owned as adults – it’s a whole different experience than having dogs as kids! I would want her painted because she is just the happiest dog ever!
Katie says
Paint my pet! My dog Lilly is a cocker-lab mix and she has this amazing ability to jump high and practically bounces like she’s on a spring!
