And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

Paint my pet! I have a sweet 12 year old black lab. She is on more medications than our family of four combined! She has diabetes that she gets shots twice a day for and arthritis medication and allergy pills! She loyally finds you and lays beside you and follows us from room to room.

I would get a portrait of our family coonhound, Tasha, that passed away in December. She was the baby of the family, and it’d be the perfect present for my Dad, who dearly misses his baby girl.

PAINT MY PET!
I’d love a portrait of my dog, Bolt. He’s been through a lot in his short little life. When we adopted him from our local humane society, he had already had at least 3 previous owners who brought him back there. He’s a very energetic dog, but he’s super smart, loyal and lovable! He was probably just too much for some families to keep up with. We’re happy to have him as part of our family :)

Paint my pet! I’d want a painting of my terrier Ginger!

Paint my pet! My Mackey. He is a retired racing greyhound who didn’t know a soft bed, stuffies, how to climb stairs, or what treats were. He is such a goofy boy, missing 20 teeth (bad track diet) and has a backwards ear. Since coming to a home he loves treats, flies down stairs, loves all the neighborhood kids and most of all his human mom. He is the most loving and grateful dog I have ever had. I would love so much for a being and bold painting of my Mackey moomoo! Thank you YHL!

“PAINT MY PET!”
I have a Basenji named Augie (after the Augie Doggie and Doggy Daddy cartoon). He’s crazy, destructive, aloof, very cat-like, crazy, extremely intelligent and crazy. We love him to death and consider him our second child. If you ever have a minute, you should look them up on youtube. Fascinating breed to watch, exhausting but rewarding to own.

Paint my pet, Stella! She’s a strange cat and rides around on my shoulder every morning as I’m getting ready for work. Her purring always starts my day out right.

PAINT MY PET!!
I’d love to have my cat, Charlie painted. We’re pretty sure that he thinks he’s a dog… or a person. He has the most personality I’ve ever seen in a cat. He comes when we call him, he meets us at the door, and he’s so loving and cuddly. We would love to have a dog but don’t have the time so he was the perfect find for us and we’re so happy we rescued him.
Lana says

My little Tippy sure is “special”. My brother doesn’t call her Tard Dog for nothing….named after Andy Bernard AKA The Nard Dog on the office. She rocks a fabulous underbite and is super skiddish. She just turned 4 on Sept. 10 and still has never learned the word Sit. At’s my little Tard Dog!

Paint my pet! I’d have my adorable, rescued Catahoula Leopard dog, Tuffy, painted. She’s just a hoot. She’s my buddy on car rides, runs, and any other adventure I feel like going on. And sometimes, much to my chagrin, she makes her own adventures!

Our lovable Lab “Sam” turns 14 this month and we’re very aware that we’re in the twilight years (weeks? months?). He doesn’t walk well and has a hard time even standing up. But his eyes still light up for a Milk Bone.
Nikki says
PAINT MY PET! I have two black miniature schnauzers :)

I would love a painting of our dog, Katie (Italian Greyhound). We gave her up for adoption before we moved overseas to spare her the stress (and the Middle East isn’t dog friendly) and we miss her tons. A memento would be amazing!

I have two dogs and one cat, but I would love to have a painting of BearBear, my golden retriever mix. He’s my first dog since leaving Mom’s house. Dogs have always been special to me, but they were always more in love with Mom. I love that he is my dog, and loves me most. :) Is that selfish?
Jessica says
PAINT MY PET!: I would have my pug Bebos painted because he is the friendliest dog ever- he once tried to make friends with a plastic bag!
Lu says

Paint my pet!
Our puppy, Seymour is a golden doodle (golden retriever/poodle mix) and he’s RIDICULOUSLY cute! We’ve only had him for two months and now I can’t imagine life without him. He’s an incredibly good puppy, especially in his own opinion: I came home a few weeks ago to find the puppy training book ripped to shreds. :)

I’d have my dog Kimber painted, I recently lost her (August 19) and I’d love to have her immortalized in a bright, cheerful painting.
