And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

PAINT MY PET!! Gracie (“the Wondermutt”) would make for a great painting subject. She eats at least two lip glosses of mine per month so she’s ready for her closeup…

I’d want my two dogs painted – a black lab and a chow/retriever mix. They are the most loving dogs in the world.

Paint My Pet!
We have 2 dogs so I guess I’ll have to choose… Teller is a Great Dane (aka the big dumb dinosaur) and the naughtiest dog ever but also ridiculously loving, cuddly and so cute! Double is an Aussie mix who adores me and “protects” me to the point where we have to put him away when people come over, but he’s so sweet and smart that I still love him anyway. I guess we’d have to flip a coin… or get one free and buy one?

PAINT MY PET! I would have my orange tabby cat Truman painted. Truman sadly died of cancer a few weeks ago, so the painting would be a great way to remember him.

I would have my only pet Rizzo painted. He’s a Yorkie/Maltese mix. He can be cuddling in your lap one minute and barking at you the next for not paying attention to him!

PAINT MY PET!
I would want my sweet dog painted. What makes her so great is that we adopted her from our local shelter, and we have been lucky to watch her personality grow and shine. She was so timid when we first adopted her, and now she’s her own sweet girl and we love her so much that we often find ourselves asking ourselves why we waited so long to adopt!

PAINT MY PET!
I would want our pup Boomer painted. He is the best cuddler!
Melody Benschoter says

Paint my pet!!
I’d paint my American Eskimo, Jade! She is extremely vocal and talkative, which is hilarious. She “talks” when she isn’t the center of attention :) She is a cuddle bug and demands that she sleeps with me and my husband or she will “complain” in her special language. She is adorable.

PAINT MY PET!!
I would have my son and his fiance’s weimarner painted as a wedding gift to them.
Liz says
PAINT MY PET!!!
I’d get my dog Maxine painted because she is the first dog I’ve ever owned and the first pet my husband and I adopted together!
Katee says
Paint my pet! My daughters pet, a parakeet, is pretty low maintance. We love it when she whistles to us as we climb the stairs to bed.

PAINT MY PET!
Tough to choose with a full house like mine, but I think I’d get my 1st rescue dog, Diamond, painted. She had a rough start to life and she has come out of her shell so much in the last couple years, so capturing that in a painting would be perfection!
Brigidanne says
Paint My Pet!
I would like my yellow lab painted. Mattie is 10yrs old and still acts like a puppy from time to time. No matter what the tails a waggin’. (October is her birthday month)

PAINT MY PET! I would have my baby Pepper painted because she is my first born.
Maren says
Paint my pet!
My sweet Labrador boy, Wilco, runs around the room rubbing his face on the carpet every morning, sticking his cute butt in the air for scratches. I just moved into my new house and would love a painting of my furry child to hang on the wall!
erika says
Paint My Pet! Our yellow lab Ollie would make a perfect paining!:)
Stephanie says
PAINT MY PET! I have an 11 week Greater Swiss Mountain dog. He’s so adorable, and I would love to document him at this age knowing that he’s going to get real big, real fast! Swissy art is, like the breed, rare so having a painting of Murphy would be lovely!
Maria says
PAINT MY PET!
I would love for you to paint my black poodle Lucky, because it is so hard to find someone that can paint a black dog nicely. Lucky is a mini poodle and has a sweet expression, and I hope she lives up to her name!

PAINT MY PET!
I would like my family dog Sunny painted. She is a 15-year-old golden retriever. She has been with us through it all and she is still running down the steps to chase the deer out of our front yard every morning. I can’t bear to think of the day when she has to leave us, and having a portrait painted of her would be so wonderful and comforting to look at when that day comes.
Abbey says
PAINT MY PET! These are adorable! I would have my adorable dog Shelby painted. She has been demanding a portrait, so it would be nice to get her off my back about it. The only problem is that we only have one million pictures of her to choose from on which to base the portrait ;)
Patrice says
PAINT MY PET! Jordy is so loyal/obsessively attached to us that you can never count on an unaccompanied trip to the restroom.
Lauren says
PAINT MY PET! I would love a classy portrait of my black cat, Rocky!
Kathy says
“PAINT MY PET!”I would have a hard time deciding between my two dogs. Daisy is a pitbull cross and a big lovebug, who follows me wherever I go. She also really has a problem with closes doors. No matter which side of it that she is on, she will scratch on it to get you to open it. Bumble is our Boston Terrier cross and he is adorable. He has to taste test everyone around him though! That tongue never stops trying to find a piece of exposed skin.
Mrs.M in MI says
Paint my pet! I’d love to have my Lhasa apso, Joey, painted. He is the cutest dog in the world, unless he’s just had his haircut. He’s also a jerk.
Megan says
Paint my pet! My yellow lab Peaches is a big ol’ 80 pound girl, but my husband treats her like a lap dog, so she thinks she is. She doesn’t understand her size or weight and plops down on top of you. My favorite thing she does is what I call “morning kisses.” As soon as I turn off my alarm, she hops on the bed, climbs on top of me with one paw on either shoulder, and licks my face. Nothing says love like big sloppy Peaches kisses.
Mandy Y says
Paint My Pet!!! Our little shiztsu would be perfect for this!!!!
Lesley says
PAINT MY PET! My boxer/lab Bronwen is a cuddle bug and leans against everyone she meets.
Hattie R says
PAINT MY PET!
Would love a portrait of my cat, but she already acts pretty self important. I’m not sure it would be good for her ego ;)
Celeste King says
PAINT MY PET! I fall more in love with my red mini dachshund Joanie (named after the Madmen character) every day. The way she greets me when I get home and cuddles next to me every night is heart-melting.
Vanessa says
PAINT MY PET! I would want my childhood dog, Captain, painted. We had to put him down a few years ago but his memory is still going strong. He was insanely hyperactive and so so loving. Having a sweet painting to remember him by would be pretty great.
Audra says
PAINT MY PET!! I would want my dog, Shiloh, to be painted. She’s a Golden and Pitt mix and so great with our two-year old daughter.

I recently adopted an adorable beagle from a local shelter. Would love to add him to our family wall! The cutest thing about him is how he plays catch with himself. :)
Heidi says
PAINT MY PET! I would love for my two dogs to be painted. Josie is just the sweetest dog ever and knows when I’m upset instantly and comes up to give hugs and kisses. Callie is a newer addition to our family and is still young so she just makes us laugh all the time!
Matt Gleason says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my lab (also 6 yrs old) painted. What makes him special is EVERYTHING about him. Randomly coming to me to plead his case to me that he is hungryyyy? Being afraid of fire, aluminum foil; BATHS?!
Melissa B says
Paint my pet! I would get our american bulldog Sid painted. He was born blind but hasn’t let that stop him one moment of his life! (He’s had both eyes removed through the years, so he always makes for eatra cute pictures, like he’s sleepwalking!) Sid just turned 10 and sadly his health is declining. We are treasuring every second with him!
Charity says
“PAINT MY PET!” Our dog, Scamp, passed away four years ago and we still miss him! He was so cuddly and sweet… part rat terrier and part Chihuahua and 14 years old when we lost him. I’d love to have a portrait to remember him by.

PAINT MY PET!
I have a 4 year old mutt (pit bull something or other) whom I love love love. I got her from a rescue group when she was just 7-ish months old. She has a odd affinity for carrying things… especially shoes. When I take my shoes off at the front door, she’ll carry one up the two flights of stairs to the bedroom and then set it down so I can put it away in the closet (obviously, she’s not allowed in the closet). I keep saying I need another dog to carry the other shoe. :)

PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have a painting of our puppy Ginny. She’s our beagle mix we adopted from the shelter 3 years ago, and still surprises us every day :-)

Paint my pet!
I’d want my lovely boxer girl, Treasure, painted. She was the perfect dog in every way, my childhood dreams come true.

Paint my pet!
Our dachshund Gus, our first baby. I just noticed he’s starting to go gray around the chin (he turned 8 this past February), so I think it’s a good time to have a portrait made. He’s a snuggle bunny and he’s good to have around. :)
Kim says
Paint My Pet!! My dog is a rescue in the truest sense: she was found running around without a collar and a microchip that wasn’t registered. We tried calling around to shelters, vets and posting fliers in the neighborhood and online, but no one every stepped forward. 3 yrs. later, I don’t know how we lived without her.
Sara GB says
PAINT MY PET! I would paint one of our springers, Jed. I’m sure that would make our other dog jealous, but Jed will always be extra special–even after he opens the fridge, steals butter, and burries it in dirty clothes piles.
Maygon says
PAINT MY PET!
I would want my little 5 lb chihuahua named Buster painted. He is absolutely adorable, black with a tuxedo stripe down his belly, and loves his mommy. His personality seems very similar to darling Burger (just smaller and darker) – so what’s not to love about the little guy?!

PAINT MY PET!
I would love a painting of our corgi, Charlie. He turns two next weekend! He is a snuggle bug and can always bring a smile to our faces.
