And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

I’d love to have our lab-pit mix, Lando, painted. He’s a very goofy dog.He greets people by bringing them a toy and bruising their knees with his tail.

PAINT MY PET!!!!! I would paint my lovable mutt Tater! She’s super sweet and is the only animal that loves napping more than I do!

My dog Optimus. He’s so good with my 17 mo old daughter :)
Kristen says
PAINT MY PET! Mr. Woodford Reserve Peterson is especially loving because he just happen to stumble upon our house at 5 months old. We tried and tried looking for his family, but no such luck so we kept him. He’s the color of bourbon and is named after my husbands favorite. He is well loved.

PAINT MY PET!
I would love to immortalize my Carlita. Carlita is believed to be a Corgi-Rottweiler mix. I’ll let you go ahead and process that for a moment…. Yep, a shrunken Rotty. She’s the sweetest dog in all the world and we’re so lucky to have her!

PAINT MY PET! My beagle Chop Dawg

PAINT MY PET! I want my dog (Berkeley) painted. She is our favorite snuggle buddy!

PAINT MY PET!!!
I would love to have a painting of my puppy, Cooper, before he gets too big!
Lindsay says
PAINT MY PET! I’d like my black lab “Jammie” painted! (Her mom’s name was “Jelly” the breeder named her “Jam” and the rest is history!) She’s a little pumpkin and it would be awesome to see her portrait on the wall!

PAINT MY PET!
I would love a painting of our 8 month old Goldendoodle pup, Millie. She is full of energy and love and makes our home complete!
kristen says
PAINT MY PET! I would have our dog painted, because I have never seen an animal so obsessed with a human to the same extent that this dog is with my boyfriend. Loves to be cradled like a baby by him and pouts whenever he’s not around. And the obsession is completely reciprocated by my boyfriend as well.

PAINT MY PET!
My pup Miyagi loves posing, so he’d make a great subject. He’s fun to have around because he’s mischievous. He has a habit of stealing our socks and hiding them under the bed. But his favorite entertainment is to figure out when you are especially busy and then drape his 40 pounds on top of you and snuggle.
Laura Belle says
PAINT MY PET! My new puppy Bubba is going to be a 90 lb. lab dog. He is addicted to sitting/sleeping/chewing on his bone while in a person’s lap. I love him.
Anna says
PAINT MY PET!
I think this is my favorite giveaway so far! I would have my sweet chiweenie Roscoe painted! He’s 7.5 pounds of sweetness and such a loyal little man!
Erin E. says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my lab/husky mixed dog painted, because she is our only (and our most favorite) pet!
Bianca says
Paint my pet! I’d have my dog Chelsea FC painted because she was the first addition to our family, will dog anything for a treat, the most relaxed dog. Unlike our other dog CC Sabathia (a chihuahua) who is the best guard dog and barks at anything.
Joanna says
PAINT MY PET! I would love to have my cat (Chester) painted! He’s ten characters in one and technically thinks he’s a dog! He BEGS to go outside and we usually take him for a walk – yes Im starting to get the nickname of crazy cat lady on the street!

PAINT MY PET!
I’d have our golden retriever, Champ, painted. He’s so weird. Ever since we got a new TV, he’ll sit and watch it with us. And if he sees something especially interesting, he’ll jump over to the TV and follow the object across the screen while wagging his tail.
Rachel says
Paint my pet! This would be an awesome gift for my brother-in-law & his family. They love their pup!
Jana R says
Paint My Pet! This is a hard one as I have 3 cats and 2 dogs BUT I think I would choose Jackson (dog) and Miles (cat) as they are both black and white so look a lot alike PLUS they love their momma more than their luggage (from Steel Magnolias) :)
Erica says
PAINT MY PET! Annatto is our 6-month old vizsla puppy and she’s the sweetest most lovable dog I’ve ever met. If she hears the sound of my husband and I giving each other a kiss hello she comes running to share in the love. She’ll jump right in the middle of wherever we are. She’s probably more jealous than anything, but we think it’s so cute.

Meredith says
Paint my pet! It would be a hard choice between our 2 dogs but probably the older one, who thinks he is a cat and a lap dog at 35 lbs.
Danielle H says
PAINT MY PET!! I have a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Scout that I would have painted. First thing in the morning she runs all over the house looking for her squeaking duck. Once found, she flies around the house squeaking it until her and our cat get fed their breakfasts! It’s so hilarious – I think it’s her version of a dinner bell!
Kaylee says
PAINT MY PET! I would paint my dachshunds Milton & Maggie, love them to pieces!!
Meredith says
Paint my pet. This is great! I love it. My dog Bailey would look great in one of these paintings.
Liz says
PAINT MY PET! We have an Old English Bulldog named Tonka. He is hilarious when he’s about to play fetch – his front paws run in place until you tell him “go!”. He can barely contain himself, haha!
Karen Q. says
PAINT MY PET! I would love to have our Great Dane Hank painted. He has quite the personality, turning his head with his ears perched listening to every word someone says- such a great listener. I’m not sure he knows what we’re telling him but he’s so adorable looking like he does. :)
julia says
Paint my pet! :-) She’s a remarkable dog. Awesome as a friend and pet, but she also happens to be obsessed with tennis balls and will do anything to have one, including diving to the bottom of a pool (river, lake) in 6′ of water to get it… successfully!
Cathy J says
PAINT MY PET!!!
I would love to have a painting of our sweet Lola for my husband. She is a little Shih Tzu that we recently adopted. She was found wandering around a little town about 50 miles from where we live. Can’t imagine someone loosing her. She follows my husband around everywhere. He’s as crazy about her as she is him.
Dayl says
PAINT MY PET!
I would love to have my border collie Jack painted. He just recently got a new toy – his stuffed squeaking Skunk and he’s curled up around it more times than I can count… Now I just have to ensure that I he knows the difference between “find your skunk” being his toy, not the animal!!
Kristen says
PAINT MY PET!
I’d get a portrait of my cat Shakezula – she passed away from cancer last year and was hands down the sweetest, most lovable animal in the world… who was also too dumb to figure out how to drink properly. She would stand in her water bowl until her feet were sopping wet and then lick her wet paws.
emily h. says
PAINT MY PET! I would get a portrait of my 7 month old chocolate lab Pete. He’s definitely a lover…and be careful, if you sit on the floor, you are likely to find Pete trying to sit in your lap. He doesn’t realize that at 60+lbs that he’s not a lap dog!
Ann Scott says
PAINT MY PET! My pet is a German Shepherd/Australian Cattle dog mix who we adopted from a shelter three years ago. She is very good looking, with the face of a GS but the shorter legs and coloring of the cattle dog. We love her to pieces, and urge anyone considering getting a pet to ADOPT and not SHOP. It is so worth it to give a home to an animal that otherwise would have to be put down.
Wilani says
PAINT MY PET!
Our puppy, Roxanne, is a 12 yr old black terrier who loves steamed carrots, yams and baths… Yes, baths. She refuses to have her picture taken, as soon as the camera/phone/flip comes out, she takes off, presumably due to the flash(?) so a custom portrait sounds like the perfect way to immortalize our little girl!
Sarah Vetter says
PAINT MY PET!I have a house rabbit named Bailey. She’s a whole 3 pounds and a great snuggler. She hates my husband for some reason and will bite his ankles and chase him out of her room when he comes in. He’s now afraid of rabbits.
Jodi says
October is the one year anniversary of the death of my awesome kitty Alex and I would love a portrait of her to remember her by – PAINT MY PET! Alex loved to chase ground moles and suntan on the patio. She had a stereotypical cat-attitude and would let you know with teeth if she wasn’t happy, but I loved her anyway. 14 great years of snuggles (and a few scratches….)
Lindsey @ arkadian belle woods says
PAINT MY PET! Our dog Bailey! She’s a lab/hound/chow mix aka Heinz 57 baby! She’s so stinkin’ adorable but she’s so much like my hubby and I it’s crazy! She has a crazy energetic and ‘fearless’ side like my hubs and a bratty, prissy, terrified of her own shadow like her mommy haha! I think it would be too cool to have her painted!

Paint my pet!
I’d have our golden retriever, Jake, painted. He’s a quirky guy with a crazy life story. We adopted him four years ago when he was five years old, and couldn’t have found a better pup for our family. He loves his people, and we love him!
Lorrie Ellicott says
PAINT MY PET! It would be a tough decision since I have two dogs, but I would have to choose my Wheaten rescue Champ. It has truly been one of those “who rescued who” situations. He has completely stolen my heart! He is smart, sweet, and can do several tricks. His nickname is donkey because he is built just like the donkey on Shrek….and acts just like him! I LOVE THIS DOG!
DeNacho says
PAINT MY PET! Baxter is a 4+ rescue from Minnesota Boxer Rescue who originally came from Chillicothe, MO. we didn’t know this when we adopted him & we live in Chillicothe, IL. he was meant to be a Chilli Dog! we adopted him after we lost my much beloved boxer Butterz to brain cancer. it has taken the last 2 years for Baxter’s personality to shine through & for me to allow it in, but it’s been well worth it. He is such a lover! This is Baxter
Suzanne says
Paint my pet. I would love to have a painting of my dachshund, Willie. He is a black and tan cutie who loves to walk. He’s smart and knows lots of words and loves to cuddle on my lap.
Rebecca says
PAINT MY PET! Though it would be difficult to portray in a painting, my dog Yaz is quite the burper.
Kristin says
PAINT MY PET! I’m a little nervous if I were to win, both of our ridiculous cats deserve the honor, how would I choose?!
Kelley says
PAINT MY PET!!
I’d want to get a painting of my shy little mutt, Madison, because our other dog (a miniature dachshund) usually gets all of the love & photos — she deserves to be memorialized, too!

PAINT MY PET
we just adopted a Chihuahua mix puppy named Victoria from an animal rescue place in southern Ohio, so we would want her painted!! At 3 days we’ve learned that she loves to snuggle, nibble, and is oddly quiet for a small dog!
Brooks Pope says
Paint my pet…my family’s 14 year old Boston Terrier, Molly! We got Molly when I was 12 and am now 26 so she has been with me most of my memorable lifetime. She used to love to sleep with us and would always snuggle way down under the covers. She loves to be near someone in the family, preferably sleeping on a blanket :)
Emily says
PAINT MY PET!
My kitty-cat Toby needs a self-portrait to go on the wall! He loves to snuggle and give nose-kisses to every guest that walks through the door and he is just a very sweet little animal! My husband just made a comment the other day about the fact that there are no pictures of Toby hanging around the house :).

I would love to have our golden retriever Fender painted. He is named after the guitar and he calms down instantly if we play music for him. Love him so much!
Jamie@VTmamateurs says
Paint my pet! I would love to have my gentle-giant of a Newfoundland painted. His ginormous and scary looking- but couldn’t hurt a fly :)
