And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

PAINT MY PET
We don’t have any pets, but my brother had a dog that is beautiful so this would be an amazing Christmas gift!
DJ says
Paint My Pet! I have a hound mix who hates to walk on wet grass and loves to walk on the curb. It’s weird and funny to watch her walk from one end of the curb to the next.
Sonya says
PAINT MY PET! My sweet and cuddly Italian Greyhound needs a portrait
Sarah says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my cocker spaniel Ella painted for sure. She is the first dog I’ve owned on my own, and I got her when I was 20. She’s been with me through 2 cross country moves and countless other life milestones, difficulties, and successes. I would love to have such a special keepsake of that beautiful face to keep with me forever.

PAINT MY PET!
My wife is dying to have a painting of our dog, Pancakes. This is probably because she’s obsessed with the little dog, who she thinks is the cutest thing of all time.
Megan A. says
PAINT MY PET! My black lab Indy would love to be painted. He is an awesome dog & patiently puts up with the antics of our 11 month old whose idea of a good time is smacking Indy’s belly & pulling his ears.

PAINT MY PET!!!!
I have a lovable black lab mix that my boyfriend and I rescued from a shelter last fall. His weirdest habit is that when we leave him out of his cage while we’re at work, he will retrieve whatever article of clothing we were last wearing (be it PJs, workout gear, etc) and leave it right by the front door. Even if we put the clothes in the hamper, whenever we come home they are always right in front of the door!
Beano Wagner says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have my dog, Colonel Mustard painted. He got voted on TheNest.com with one of the Top 10 Best Dog Names (named from Clue of course). He is almost two and still makes this loud noise each time he yawns (like puppies do). It is really cute, and also kind of like a dinosaur. :)
jana says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my border terrier Cassie painted. Oh gosh, can’t pick just one thing about her that makes her such a perfect, unique fit for our family, however, she has been known to sing along when she hears the National Anthem. The higher the note, the better!
Diana says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my Malti-Poo Milo painted, because he is our fur-child. Thanks for a great giveaway!
Jordan says
Paint my pet! I would love to have our lab, Zu, painted!
Kate Bateman says
PAINT MY PET! Oakley is our little Jack Russell mix that stole our hearts the moment we saw her. We love her for a thousand reasons but one of her greatest skills is her ability to relieve tension and make us laugh. I swear her little soul was sewn together with sunshine.
Tricia says
PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have a painting of my lab, Charley. His light eyes showcase his emotions – whether they’re gleaming with joy or being rolled towards me!
Shannon H. says
PAINT MY (incredibly cute & sweet) PET! Our Havanese, Cooper, is such an important member of our family. His unconditional love makes us so happy every day!
Sam says
“PAINT MY PET!”
Our Pug, Chet is amazing…he actually watches tv and carries around his “girlfriend” all day like the loyal pup he is! He’s adorable!
Alyssa A says
PAINT MY PET! Our dog-ter Lady(Buggs) is the cutest, snuggliest, craziest English Bulldog you’ve ever seen! We love her – especially her underbite!

PAINT MY PET BEAGLE!!!

Paint my Pet!!
Would love to have my beloved Roxie painted…she’s a beautiful mutt, always told she looks like a dingo, but she’s mild-mannered and a mother-hen to my nieces.
Erin says
PAINT MY PET!!!
Who would I choose?! I don’t know how I’d ever decide between our two dachshunds, 10-year-old Charlie and 9-year-old Maggie June, and our big, loud, obnoxious angrily lovable furbag of a black cat, Beans. I couldn’t pick one over the others.
You know what I’d do? I’d give this to my parents. Their dog, Merle, is a 12-ish-year-old plain black and white mutt. He was rescued a few years ago off the streets of St. Louis, spared from a certain sad end at a shelter by my friend Kate , and after a year of searching for his owners and trying to find him a new home, finally adopted by my parents up in Nebraska. He goes to work with my dad every day. He’s my parents’ best friend. Nobody knows how Merle’s story started, but it has the best happy ending so far. He’s the best, sweetest old dog. He and his silly ears–one stands straight up while the other flops–would look fabulous on canvas. :)

PAINT MY PET!
100% without a doubt, Toby/Tobidiah/Tobias(Funke)/Toblerone, our blue eyed 14lb dapple daschund. Toby approaches life like it is his last, and even though he pees on my hydrangeas and *sometimes* poops in our dining room, we love him anyway. He’s the best little heater/lap dog/wiener we could ask for. And his breath? So horrible I love it.
BONUS QUESTION: … what pet you’d want painted. And while you’re at it, what’s one thing that makes your pet especially lovable, weird, loyal, or just generally fun to have around?
Courtney Williams says
Paint My Pet!! Our lab, Gus loves to play with our cat! The are best furry friends!
Mallory says
PAINT MY PET! We just got a new puppy, Kyla. When she grabs something she knows she’s not supposed to (socks, underwear, etc) she runs from you as fast as she can. Sometimes we let her get away with it just to see her little legs move so quickly.
RD Shugart says
PAINT MY PET!!!
This may sound strange, b/c we don’t currently have a pet – still waiting on the perfect one to “find” us – but I would love a portrait of our old dog, Cody. Complete mutt, rescued dog, with crooked teeth, but the most awesome little man anyone could ever have! His crooked little teeth needed braces and he was a total momma’s boy, but my kids still ask to hear “Cody stories”. I miss him everyday.
Beth says
PAINT MY PET!! We have a 4 year old Boxer named Ruby that is crazy adorable and would look fab forever immortalized in this painting!!
Andrea says
PAINT MY PET!
I would have a hard time choosing between our two dachshunds Maggie and Molly. They are both ridiculously silly and ridiculously loveable!
Kim Higginbotham says
PAINT MY PET!!! I’d like a portrait of our black lab, Cooper. His sweet eyes are so full of expression – I’d really like to capture his guilty, “I-know-I’m-in-trouble” look. :)
Sarah says
PAINT MY PET!
I’d have my 11 year-old husky mix, Bindi, painted! I’ve always wanted a portrait that captures her waggly eyebrows. She’s always been the happiest of creatures, even now with her wobbly back knees that make her walk like a peg-legged pirate.
kay says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my dog Pep, a maltese-ish mix painted because he is so full of personality and absolutely my favorite animal ever.
Bess says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my dog Penny painted because she’s my best friend.
Amanda B says
PAINT MY PET!!!
I’d love to get my pooch, Reggie, painted. As for what makes him lovable? What doesn’t? He’s playful, snuggly, cute, energetic, handsome, sweet, stinky, and all kinds of other amazing!
Michelle says
PAINT MY PET!!! We have one dog, Lucky that is a 80lb american bulldog/pit-bull mix who thinks he’s a lap dog. He’s our favorite :)
Ellen says
PAINT MY PET! My loving pup Maxie passed away three years ago and I would love to have a portrait painted of her.
Sarah F says
PAINT MY PET! We would have our husky/shephard MILA painted. She is a rescue dog, and her special feature is her one brown and one blue eye!
Jessica says
PAINT MY PET!! Our dog Bowie is the one I would have painted, because she is getting older and she’s awesome! She’s a mutt (some kind of shepard mix) from the pound and she looks like a Jim Henson creation and kind of moves like one too!
JillM says
PAINT MY PET!
I would have my husband’s deceased yellow lab painted. Even though we have two other dogs currently, it would be a nice rememberance of him. We called him “big dummy” for that goofy look that was always on his face.
Gray says
Paint My Pet!
My sweet mutt, Prosser, is ridiculously photogenic, clumsier than any dog I’ve ever met, and just all-around silly!
donna c says
Paint my Pet! Probably the new kitten, Smokey.

Paint my pet! I have 2… a shih tzu and a lab. Little Iggy is now blind so he follows crazy big Mollie around the house. You would never know there was a size difference between them. They are simply brother and sister :)
Megan says
Paint my pet! My dog charley! He has to bring you something when you come home
Shondra says
Paint my pet! We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs that would look great in a painting :) Their funniest traits are that even at 80 pounds, they think they’re lapdogs and given the chance, will sit on your lap. Second choice is to sit on your feet.
Michelle says
PAINT MY PET! I would love a painting of our puppy Ruthie. She has blonde eyebrows on a black face which I think would make particularly adorable artwork.
Courtney James says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my labradoodle Bodie painted – he is such a snuggler.
Carla B says
PAINT MY PET! Our chihuahua/ poodle mix is THE best cuddler. No matter how you feel, he makes you feel better just by snuggling up to you.
Kati Tisdale says
Paint my pet, Maya. A Siberian Husky. She is literally our little baby and is SO spoiled, it would only make sense to have her painted!
Mallory says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my yellow lab, Fiona, painted. She is hands down the best dog ever!!
Beth says
Paint my pet! Harper, my dog named for Harper Lee (author)
Natalie says
PAINT MY PET!
My beautiful and loyal red husky Aiden. He’s had to put up with a lot from two little boys in the house. He is such a sweetie and deserves to be honoured.
