And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

I would love to give this to my mom for our dog Bella (or Bells as I call her :)

PAINT MY PET!
This would be tough choice, as we have a gorgeous long-haired German Shepherd and three cats: a tabby kitten (I don’t yet have a picture of her on our wall yet), a pretty and feisty calico, and our 16-year-old black-and-white “tuxedo” boy who still loves life but is dwindling.

PAINT MY PET! I’d want my old dog, Roger because he passed away while being pet-sat by a relative and he was the best dog ever.
Luce says
Paint my pet! I have a cavalier king charles spaniel- he is just my baby…he is great at doing tricks and listening but take him on a walk and it all goes out the door.
Mallory K says
PAINT MY PET! I have two Australian shepherds who would make for perfect portraits. They love to snuggle, and even though they weigh 50lbs, their favorite spot to lay is right on top of you!

“PAINT MY PET!”
We love our puggle Guinness! We think he loves to sleep more than he loves us but we love him just the same.
Julie says
Paint my Pet! Such a fun freebie – thanks! I’d love Nixon my Persian cat to be painted.
liz says
Paint my pet! My 6 lb Pound Puppy we just adopted likes to stand on hind legs like a prarie dog! She’s just happy as can be!
lindsey says
PAINT MY PET! Our Aussie mix, Harvey, has the most expressive, overgrown, old man eyebrows I have ever seen on a dog. The vet suggested we trim them back so he looked “more distinguished,” but we have left them untouched and are so glad we learned to leave a good thing be.

I have two very orange kitties that Id love to have turned into some awesome art! One of my cats, Gus, was hit by a car about a year ago and its sort of a miracle he survived- hes my little warrior! My living room is gray (almost like yours!)and my accent colors are yellow and orange, so they would look fantastic up in that room!
Riki says
PAINT MY PET . . . please! I’d really like a painting of my mom’s dog Harley. It would be a marvelous Christmas present, especially because Harley is more spoiled than any of the kids.

I would have my little shmoosh faced pekingese Gizzy-mo painted :)

PAINT MY PET!
We have an adorable short haired miniature daschound (named Ballpark). He’s an 8 pound bitty thing that my husband and son are obsessed with. Especially with jokes: “We’ll meet you at (place), but first I have to let my 8 pound weiner out.” or t-shirts such as “My weiner is huge in Japan.” etc. You can only imagine the fun I deal with. He IS an important part of the family though. *sigh*

Paint my pet!! We have 2 furbabies that keep me busy! One is a westie-mix and the other is a chihuahua. They are such sweet little ones that love to cuddle and tag along with us wherever we go.
Kelly says
PAINT MY PET!….I have a Shorki (body of a shih tzu, coloring of a yorkie) named Ari who has the cutest underbite and little beard! I’d love to have a painting of him!

PAINT MY PET!
If I win, I would choose to have our mutt, Bear, painted. We got him when he was 6 weeks old and weighed 3 pounds, and now he’s three and a half and weighs almost 60 pounds!
He’s very loyal, handsome, and he does a mean fist-pound, but my favorite thing about him is that he has a knack for positioning himself in the perfect place to be pet, all the time. Whether we’re still in bed or hanging out in the garden, he knows what he wants and how to subtly get it!

I have a cat, Little Whiskers, and a dog, Buddy. I love them both to bits and would love to have paintings of them! Especially to put in our little boy’s room – due to arrive in February:)
kaycee says
PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have my French Bulldog Franklin painted, he’s my one and only <3! He has such a great character and makes all of my guests laugh.

Paint my Pet!! I’d have our dog Molly who passed away this past February painted as a rememberance of our first baby.

PAINT MY PET!
My loveable pup is so worried about whether or not you are following him to the next room that he walks with his head turned towards you and not the wall…meaning you get to witness his shock when he (gently) bumps into the wall just so he can watch you as you walk.
Hes lovable and a great snuggler though!
KiTx says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have my two fur babies, Gabby and Chance, immortalized. Gabby has a million qualities that make me love her like I would a human baby, but her impeccable internal clock is phenomenal. She gets her dentastix at 9 pm each night, and at 8:57, she’s sitting in front of me, waiting. Chance is a huge dork of a dog in personality and size (65 lbs and 10 months old) but the best snuggler in the world!
Sarah T. says
PAINT MY PET! I’d paint my yellow lab Samson. He is ruled by his stomach. He can hear a candy bar wrapper opening from the other side of the house!
Jennifer S. says
PAINT MY PET! My dog Max will be 6 in December. He is half golden, half lab and all crazy!
Kristin says
Paint my pet! We have a cat, Schultz, who’s old but still hilarious. This is essentially his house, we just get to live in it.
Tonya says
PAINT MY PET! I would totally have my poodle pup Abbey (also referred to as miss Abbey Schnabby) painted. Why? She is just too cute for words and actually we cant get a decent photo of her! She’s black and just blends into every photo we try to take – all you get is a black fuzzy blob! Having a custom painted portrait would take the place of all those crazy blobby photos! And while I know this might sound like a generic feature, she’s just cute, C-U-T-E! Everyone loves Abbey, and she doent know a stranger…that’s what makes her especially loveable (and that she doesnt bark much)!

PAINT MY PET!
I would really love to have my black toy poodle, Scooter, painted. He’s so dark that it can be hard to take a picture of him so I think a painting could capture him much better.
We love Scooter because he’s just the perfect size and enjoys a good nap and sleeping right between us at night.
Colleen says
PAINT MY PET! I would love a print of my adorable dachshund, Dewey! He is 23 lbs of love!
Casey H. says
Paint My Pet!
I would have my family cat, Smokey, painted. My family got Smokey when I was 4, and he passed away two weeks ago at the age of 18. Because he was with me most of my life, that makes him pretty darn loveable to me!
Julie Howell says
PAINT MY PET! I have three dogs and they are all full of spunk and personality.

PAINT MY PET!!!
My husband and I have 4 cats and he is completely and totally obsessed with them! I have tried doing something like this for him in the past but they have never turned out right, they don’t even look like cate in the painting I had done. I would LOVE to get a really great picture of them for him.

PAINT MY PET!
I’d love to have a portrait of my main squeeze, Kriss. He’ll be 17 years old on November 1st!
Katie says
PAINT MY PET!! It would have to be my cat, Atticus!:)
Katie Lewis says
PAINT MY PET! I have a cat named Martin who thinks playing fetch is the best way to end an evening. And quite frankly, I don’t disagree with him!
Emily says
“Paint My Pet!” I would love a painting of my horse, Sadie. She was my first horse and has been through high school, college, and the first 3 years of my career with me. She is a big puppy dog who loves peppermints and being fussed on. Back when I was doing jumpers with her, I had a bad fall during a show and she should have stepped on my head because I feel under her, but somehow she jumped out of the way and missed me. People were coming up to my trainer telling her that Sadie saved my life because they have never seen a horse react like that to someone falling under them. She is a keeper : )
Alison Brough says
Paint my pet! I would love to have my dog Penelope (Nellers) painted. She is nuts. Her hobbies include running in and out of her dog door for no apparent reason. She also loves to fetch, but hates to return the toy. Her favorite thing to do is look at herself in the mirror. She would LOVE having a portrait of herself to gaze at all day.
Kate says
PAINT MY PET! My dog Wylie is having a hard time adjusting to our new (FIRST!) home, and we love him so much (even though it’s quite trying when your dog doesn’t appreciate his nice big backyard and makes you put him on the leash IN the backyard in order to do his business). Yep, there’s a lot of love there! :)
Jessica says
PAINT MY PET!
I would love to have a portrait of our puggle, Emma. She has an alter ego that we lovingly refer to as “Emma-saurus”. This alter ego is a hoarder of socks, dryer sheets, and as of last week, a wrench! I guess she’s a DIY pup in the making!
Linda says
PAINT MY PET!!
I’d want a portrait of my cat, Spooky. She’s a Siamese so she’s loud as heck, which I love. Other weird characteristics: She loves playing with (not eating) lettuce, will wake you by licking your eyelid, and will endlessly pace around the bedroom until we sing her a specific song (to the tune of “The Thong Song”). Yep.
bria says
Paint my pet!! I’d have our dog Rosco painted – he’s a 6-y-o beagle/lab mix. What sets our Rosco apart right now is how hilarious/adorable it is when he cuddles up to me and lays his head on my pregnant belly. I’m guessing he either thinks I grew a pillow especially for him, or he knows something’s up. Either way, so cute! I would love a portrait of Rosco for the baby’s room!

Paint my pet!
We’d love some great artwork inspired by our fuzzy orange snuggle-cat, Chuckles.
Cassie says
Paint my pet! My terrier mix, Harper, is the only child in my house, so she knows how to get what she wants. She’s still a puppy, so I’ll need to grow a backbone soon.
Linda says
PAINT MY PET, Buster (that’s his name, not a threat). He’s a very serious almost 6 year old sheltie, unless there’s a toy within sight: then he’s a crazy pup. I also have a lovely girl sheltie, named Sally, but Buster is older, hence he gets the portrait. I hope.
Carrie says
PET MY PET!!!! PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE!
I couldn’t chose between Leila and Django, they are my kids! Django puts the high in hyper, loves to snuggle, has ELD (excessive licking disorder, it’s not really a thing but I named it because seriously? He wants to lick your face. NOW.) and he thinks everyone is his best friend. Leila is a gentle giant, who acts like a cat- which is hilarious since she weighs 105 pounds, she is a morning dog grabs a toy as soon as we are up, and doesn’t know that she can jump so I have to help her get on stuff that she can’t easily climb on. I love them so!
Christy says
Paint my pet! I’d love a painting that made my two dogs look like they loved each other. Apparently a 6 year old puggle is not a fan of a 6 month old puppy using her as a chew toy. Humph, go figure.
Liz says
PAINT MY PET!
I would love to have our 2 year old chocolate lab Sadie painted because she is a loveable nut!
Laura K says
PAINT MY PET, (please)! We have two rescue dogs, Katy and Brenna that have been like children for us. Now that we have a “man cub” (to quote the Jungle Book), they are still a critical part of the family, protecting, playing with, and loving on our son. We’re so proud of the way they’ve adapted to life as big sisters to a wild little boy.
Jaclyn says
Paint my pet! I would have Pickles, our Boston terrier, painted. She is a sweet dog with a lot of energy and personality!
Melissa says
Paint my pet!!!!
I was just talking to my husband last night about how we needed some art of our Min-Pin, Boomer. This would be PERFECT!
Also, Boomer’s birthday is a day before Burger’s, I guess it was a good week for awesome dog birthdays. :)

PAINT MY PET….
I absolutely adore my rescued labrador Limburger (true name, and yes, he can be a little stinky like his namesake). He was hit by a car (before we adopted him) and now as result, suffers from seizures. We foster other homeless labs and he’s is always welcoming of everyone. I only wish humans could be half as loving, kind and forgiving as he is… We love him so much, and can’t imagine our days without him. He is getting up in years, but he is my heart. I’d love to have a painting of him done before he crosses the rainbow bridge.
