And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

PAINT MY PET! With apologies to my (very handsome) cat… I’d have to go with my horse. For one thing, he’s a lot nicer to me than my cat (who tends to bite), and for another, he looks absolutely gorgeous running around the pasture or arena, and you’d never guess that he was 27.

Paint my pet, please! :)
If I had to choose a pet to get painted, I think it would be my pup, Millie. She’s the newest addition to our family.
I think the cutest thing about her, for me, is when she wakes up in the morning and gives kisses. Love it.

I’d want a dual portrait – one of my 7-month-old pup Ruby and my old lady Inga (almost 10 years old). They are as different as night and day, but both awesome for more reasons than I can list. Inga should be coasting into her “easy” years as the matron of the house, but we decided to bring in a bratty little sister to make her remaining time on earth not so relaxing. However, they love each other dearly and I’d love to capture that.

PAINT MY PET!!!
Daisy is my 6 month old Jack Russell Terrier. We absolutely love having her as an addition to our family. She has a personality all her own that can be summed up as stubborn. She loves her Mama & will follow me around constantly. But, her Daddy hung the moon in her eyes. All she wants to do is lay on his chest when he’s around. & you know that melts this dog-mom’s heart! :)

Paint my pet! I would have my sweet St. Bernard painted! He is 130 lbs, but thinks he has a lap dog and will get his feelings very hurt if he is not involved in any sort of hugs/ cuddling.

My little man Beau is the most loveable/kissiest companion anyone could ask for and I’d love to have a painting of him! He’s black with a white patch on his chest and tips of his toes so he permanently looks like he’s tuxed’ up all ready for his big debut. :)

Paint my pet! I’d love to have my beloved mini dachshund painted. Shatzie was my comfort for 13 years growing up, but my parents had to put her down while I was away on my honeymoon. Missing the chance to say goodbye has made grieving rather difficult. I expect her to jump into my lap whenever I sit down on my parent’s couch. Sometimes, I even expect her to rush underfoot in my own kitchen when a scrap hits the floor. I miss her so much. It would be great to have something like this to remember her by.

PAINT MY PET! Our german short-haired pointer, Charley is the big sister around our house. She plays with our toddler (and steals snacks whenever she can) and provides many a laugh. She can sometimes be a headache, but mostly she’s a great dog.

PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have Barge, my dog, painted. He loves people and always likes to be the center of attention. :)

Paint My Pet! It would have to be my Tucker dog who I adopted 8 years ago. He was the biggest pain as a young dog, he got out of locked crates, tore up carpet (more than once) and was generally naughty! But I wouldn’t have my family if it wasn’t for him, I met my husband because of him. And once our daughter was born he calmed down and became the protector of all babies, he watches them wherever they go and howls along with them if they cry.
Margie says
Paint my pet! I’d love a picture of my hamster Spiderman and my turtles Rice & Crispy ;)
Page H. says
PAINT MY PET!! I have a himalayan cat named Fuzz Lightyear. His favorite activity is waiting by the freezer for an opportunity to jump in. With all that hair, he does not care for hot weather so he LOVES the cold freezer. He is a quirky little fellow and would love to have a portrait of him!
Sarah says
PAINT MY PET! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Our dog Guinness is the cutest most pathetic looking dog and my husband loves him to pieces. I love him too, but he was my husband’s very first dog. This would be such a special gift to be able to give him.
Elle says
Paint my pet!!! We only have our dog Cooper right now. He’s practically our child since we’re newlyweds. He’s the scruffiest little mutt you’ve ever seen!

I’d get a painting done of my husband’s childhood dog, Snickers. She passed away a couple of years ago, and he was terribly sad. They were as thick as thieves.

PAINT MY PET!
My chihauhua Dogboy has the best personality. He really does have a sense of humor. Plus he’s a great cuddler, which I think is the best attribute a pet can have.
Ida says
PAINT MY PET! I think we’d love to have our dog keller painted. He’s just the sweetest, most lovable pet ever! Plus, he’s named after keller williams.
Sara says
PAINT MY PET! I would love to have my dog, Noah, painted in all his glory. He is part golden retriever and part lab, and is a rescue dog. He is fantstic pet — a gentle giant. His only fault is the inability to refrain from eating things he shouldn’t. Just a few examples: a sombrero (that’s right, a whole sombrero), 2 dried starfish, and 12 boxes of Thin Mint GS cookies (that were for other people). Lucky for him — and me — he has an iron stomach.
BeccaK says
Paint my pet! I’d choose a portrait of my dog, who is such a ding-dong that he not only loves chasing his own tail, but will go out of the way to do so!
Sheri G says

I am “mom” to two dogs. One Boston Terrier named Rent(age 15) who is my absolute love and a Pug named Eggroll(age 7) who is very, very naughty! They are both lovers who like to snuggle especially when you are trying to read or work on the computer.
Allison says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my black lab Olive painted. I love EVERYTHING about Olive. She is such a good girl! I especially love how cute she is! Especially when she sleeps! In the mornings, after i get out of bed, she loves to cuddle next to my husband. You can often find her with her head on his pillow next to him! SOO CUTE!

“Paint My Pet”.
Well, we rescued Lexi back in 2008. She is a beautiful brindle boxer that needed a lot of love. She was ten months old, and had been kept in a crate her entire life. She did not know how to be social, or how to play with toys. It is our understanding that her first owner was very abusive to her. It had to be a male with a cap on because it took almost a month before she would let my husband pet her. She is now five years old, still scared of strangers, but she warms up quickly. We cannot imagine our lives without her.

I would love to have my two dogs painted- they are wildly different. One is a black lab, and the other is a strange mix of beagle/Jack Russell that really leaves him looking like a fox!
Nissa says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have my pup, Teddy, painted. He’s the cutest, I’d love to see him on canvas!
Nina says
Paint my pet!!
I’d have my adorable doggy Optimus Prime painted. He is officially a mutt, though he looks just like a rottweiler. His most hilarious/annoying quirk is his money-eating habit. He will eat any paper money we leave laying around, and even noses around my purse looking for stray cash that hasn’t made it to my wallet. He doesn’t eat other paper very much, just money. It’s getting…expensive.

My dog Lyddie is the most loyal dog I’ve ever had. She’s a German Shepherd and happens to be a retired Guide Dog for the Blind and a current therapy dog. I swear she’s a human trapped in a dog’s body!

PAINT MY PET!!! Our fur baby Rocko is a five-year old miniature Australian Shepherd that LOVES to chase light reflections, flashlights, and shadows. His newest love includes herding the waves back into the ocean!! We love our little guy for the full time entertainment he provides us with his quirky habits!!

Paint my pet! My husband and I recently adopted a loveable spaniel mix from a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. He’s so cute even the vet techs gush over him when he goes in for a visit–you know your dog is cute when the vet staff can’t get enough of him!
