And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

Paint my Pet Pllllleeeeeeease! I have 3 dogs… and two of them go to work with me every day. Their personalities are both so distinct and unique. One is definitely our office-lover while the other is the office-diva. …but regardless of their titles – they put smiles on our faces every day!
Terry D says
“PAINT MY PET” because he is the cutest, sweetest boy ever! Bear is a Newfoundland/Lab mix that we adopted from a rescue group and is the absolute love of our life!

My beagle Lolly. She’s the pup with lots of love to give. She chases squirrels but never catches them, snuggles between us at night and tries to talk (not bark) when she wants something.

I would love to have Lesli’s painting of my dog, Jade. Jade passed away July 31st of this year, and there hasn’t been a day that’s gone by in which I haven’t thought about her. She had just celebrated her 15th birthday! I’m 23. Needless to say, my old lady and I grew up together. :) She helped me through the split of my parents, high school break-ups, less than fantastic college exams, and stayed just long enough to see my husband and I get married. Sweet baby. I would love to have a painting of her to greet me when I come home, just like she greeted me every single day with a stuffed “baby” in her mouth.

PAINT MY PET! (Please.) I would love to have my adorable fat cat, Hercules painted. He loves to chase (toy) mice and chase a laser light around the house. Not to mention sit on my lap at odd times.

PAINT MY PET! I would have my boyfriend’s dog Buster painted. He’s a yorkie/maltese mix, and one of his ears stands up while the other one lays down. He really loves training and learning new tricks, but going for walks is his favorite thing ever! He gets really excited, runs around, makes a weird whining noise, and chews on his leash when we’re getting him into his harness. Oh, and he also does that worm dance on worms/dead stuff. :)
Allison says
paint my pet! It’s a hard call between our quirky cat and our loveable dog, but the dog wins out. “Winchester” has so many funny expressions!

PAINT MY PET! I would want to golden retriever, Molly, painted! I had her from 3rd grade all the way through senior year of high school, and now as a senior in college I love to think about all the fun times I had with her growing up!
Jill says
PAINT MY PET! My little man, who is now an old man, Riley. A sweet little fawn-colored Pug who turns 12 this November! Everything he does is adorable, let’s be honest, right? But one of my favorite characteristics is his cat-like qualities. Like how his 24-hour nap moves with the sun. From the area by the front door in the morning to in front of the kitchen sink (in the back of the house) by late afternoon. He also circles about twenty times before he lies down. 12 years later it still makes me giggle :)

I’d have to go with our first furbaby Gabe. If I had to pick one thing that makes him special, it’d be how expressive of a dog he is.

Paint my beagle Chance. We just celebrated our ten year Chanceversary as I call it, but he is an old man and will probably not be with us much longer. I would love to have another memento besides my wedding photos. The poor baby is now wearing a male diaper, but still manages to be cute. I will never forget the time I came home to find that he managed to get a pan of brownies down from the top of the fridge, wish I had a nanny cam for that one.
Shelby Cash says
PAINT MY PET! My peekapoo, Lucy would be flattered to have a self portrait! She doesn’t sit for treats, she dances for treats! And she has more atitude than all of the Houswives combined, yep she’s over the top!

I’ve been wanting to get a painting of my old dog Bubba, since he was a mixed breed I never find any other pictures/paintings of dogs like him. He was a very loyal old dog who had cancer and I asked him not to leave me without giving me a replacement…a week after he passed we found out our last cycle of IVF worked! His “replacement” is now 8 months old and loves dogs :)

I’d have my dog Finn painted…he’s my fur-baby:) He is super shy and scared of just about everything, but the absolute sweetest golden retriever ever. He loves to give hugs to his family members by pressing his head up against our legs. He deserves a little extra attention right now because he is patiently putting up with the new baby in the house!
Ashlyn says

I would love a painting of our 15 year old dog, Emma. She’s mostly black, so she just looked like a blob for years, but now she’s got a lot of white (gray?) mixed in. She’s not in good health, and it would be a wonderful gift to have a painting of her.
Mallory says
Paint my pet! I would have my mom’s boston terrier painted for her. That dog has been her companion through some of the most difficult years of her life and deserves a little recognition for it!
