And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

PAINT MY PET! I’d have my dog, Charlie painted. He is a Pekingese/Havanese mix. The most loveable thing about him is his extreme overbite. It’s so adorable.
Laura says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have my dog Maury painted. She has endless amounts of energy and always makes you smile.
Becca says
PAINT MY PET! Conrad is kind of a handsome little German Shepherd. We’d love to have a painting of him on our wall (and he’d love looking at it!)

Paint my pet!!!
I would have our chocolate lab who is gonna be 12 in march painted. He is such a sweet sweet dog. The best dog I’ve ever had. Sam is wonderful to have around as he is the most loving patient dog. He just truly wants to be with you and enjoy your company!
Melanie says
PAINT MY PET!!! I would love a portrait of my sweet german shepherd/ husky mix, Basil. He always makes us smile and he is just so darn cute!
heather says
PAINT MY PET! I’d love have my cat Izzy painted. He hates to be kissed, so of course I antagonize him by doing that all the time…
Mike says
PAINT MY PET!
I’ve been wanting one of these forever!!
Alison says
Paint My Pet!
I’d have our new black lab puppy, Wyatt painted to remember him as a cute little adorable boy before he turns into a 90lb beast!
Krista says
PAINT MY PET!!! My sweet little snuggle-bum Corgi, Lukin, will be 8 this November (eeeee!), and would be a fantastic portrait candidate. He’s my best bud and has been through it all with me…slept under my feet while I wrote my graduate thesis, drove cross-country with me when I relocated from CT to AZ, and has taught our younger Golden Retreiver the Rules of Being an Awesome Dog. He’s the bees knees :).

I would want a painting of my Boston Terrier. His name is Herman Smellville, and true to his name, he is one smelly pooch! We named him after Herman Melville, the author of Moby Dick, since my husband wrote his dissertation on the book. Herman Melville was also, incidentally, born in Boston. Full circle!
Tracy D. says
Hahaha! Herman Smellville. I love that! My MIL has a dog named Elliot who we all affectionately refer to as Smelliot.
Denise says
PAINT MY PET! Hi my pup, Molly the beagle, she passed on 6/08/12… I miss her! Been thinking of a sketch or something like this, she was only 8 1/2.
Caleb says
PAINT MY PET!
Our dog snowy, she’s hilarious, she has a deviated septum, so she makes all these funny snorting noises when she gets excited.
Marianne says
Paint my pet (please!)
I’ve got the best mutt ever- Butch. He’s super laid back, strong, and the most loyal dog a person could hope for. I love him!
Elizabeth says
PAINT MY PET! I can’t believe I have to choose just one. I guess I would want Lexi painted. She is an especially special little dog. She is also just too darn cute to not be painted. She has the most precious tiny white mitten paws.
Rachel says
PAINT MY PET!!!! I would be torn between my sweet chihuahua Frosty or my baby labby boy Harley. Maybe I could do both?
Katie says
PAINT MY PET!! Our great dane – black lab mix, Noodles, is so sweet and playful!
Kira says
Paint my pet!!
Jenny M says
PAINT MY PET, PLEASE!
Our golden retriever, Sadie, is the sweetest dog ever! We love her and she loves us too! Sadie has a unique talent….she plays baseball!! She is the best center fielder on the team! To quote my 8 year old baseball-lovin son, “Sadie is awesome!!”
Barb says
PAINT MY PET! I have no idea how I’d choose which of my 3 dogs to have painted… probably I’d just have to cough up the $$ to have them all done :)
Laura says
PAINT MY PET! i have a golden retriever- love that girl. she is so good with my little peeps- even though she was here first. the only thing that i can complain about (besides her doggy breath) is her obsession with socks. got home from a wedding the other night to find 5 pairs of socks strewn about her bed. all wet and chewed. lovely.
Charity M. says
PAINT MY PET! We have an 80 pound black lab mutt and an 8 pound toy poodle, so either would be fun to see in a painting. What I think is most loveable about my dogs is how they get along. The lab (Rescue-too-dog-two AKA RtooDtwo) is a chicken when it comes to anything on 4 legs that weighs more than 2 pounds but so loving and exactly what my son wanted when he asked Santa for a dog who would “let me lay on her and will lick my face and won’t eat Oscar!” And the poodle (Oscar) is awesome because he let Rtoo come into our household without too much fuss and now treats her like the big baby she is… and he will bark and growl at any of the big dogs who try to scare her, all 8 pounds of ferocious! :D
MJB says
PAINT MY PET!
Other dog owners can’t believe how mellow our collie Bailey is. She lies under my desk at my feet or a central spot in the house where she can keep an eye on everybody. Her motto on walks: leave no man behind. She won’t move unless everyone stays in one group.
Natalie says
Paint my pet! My Corgi-Chihuahua Moses would be perfect for a painting! He is the snuggliest pup I have ever had. When he nuzzles up around my neck I melt!
Heather - Diapers&Divas says
PAINT MY PET!
I’d paint my dog, Fumble, that passed away. He was the best yellow lab ever! He was so smart and would smile at your when you got home. Seriously, SMILE! He was awesome. Best. Dog. Ever.
Jena C says
paint my pet!!! have to be one of the kitties!
Tiff says
PAINT MY PET!
I’d do my dog, since he is the ONLY dog. We also have two kitties that I’d love to have done but since we only have one pooch, he’d be the nominee : )
We love all of our animals. They are all balls of energy and are great un-conditional lovers!
Rachael says
PAINT MY PET! I would love a portrait of our dog Topper. What makes her so cute is her odd breed. She was an accidental (free) puppy. She is a Yorkie and Beagle mix! She has a little yorkie body but the big floppy beagle ears!! We love her and her craziness!
Jo says
PAINT MY PET!
I would love to have a painting done of either of my French bulldogs, Louie or Derby! See the Kentucky theme here, LOL. I love them so much and they do the funniest things that keep me in stiches!
nikki says
paint my pet!
my husband convinced me to get an english mastiff (think sandlot dog) while i was 4 months preggo with our first son. not sure how that happened? (the dog, not the baby) ;) he would love a pic of his favorite canine, who is the opposite size of burger (she weighs in at a dainty 185 lbs, including about 5 lbs of slobber). sigh.
thanks for the awesome giveaways! you guys rock!

PAINT MY PET!
I would love my dwarf hamster, Tripod, painted! Poor thing was only born with three legs, so the petstore was going to euthanize him. My friend saved him and gave him to me. Funny thing is, even with only 3 legs, he can still do everything a normal hamster can (dig around in his bedding, run in his wheel, stuff his cheeks full of seeds, etc). Is it weird that I find my dwarf hamster kinda inspiring?
Lauren says
PAINT MY PET!
Our sweet border collie / lab mix. She’s absolutely hilarious when she gets all riled up… obviousy we’re biased, but we think she’s the best dog in the world.
Caitlyn says
Paint my pet! I would love for my dog Macy to be painted! Macy is such a loyal pup because when I left for college two years ago, I couldn’t take her with me since I lived on campus! But every time I would go home it was like I had never left!
Kelly Meier says
PAINT my PET!! I would love to have a portrait of my dog, Rowdy, on the wall. He’s a beagle- terrier and is sure to live up to his name, except when he is being a cuddly puppy.
Lori H says
PAINT MY PET! Hobbes is a Westie, and let’s face it, they are just so darn cute. And he watches TV..really watches it. Any sort of animal (and the Allstate man) gets barked at and if they run off the screen, he goes into the next room to look for them!
Jessalyn says
PAINT MY PET!…
…we have two dogs. Both are black (lab and border collie mixes) so they prove especially difficult to photograph with any semblance of contrast competence. Either way, we love watching them play together. The older one’s favorite game is to take a sock from the dirty laundry; he makes sure that we see him, and then he runs away. The younger one is a demanding snuggler.
Amy K says
PAINT MY PET! I’d want a painting of my cat, Baby (original name, huh?), who sadly passed away when he was 7 and I was 17. He used to jump on top of me when I was watching TV and burrow into my hair. I still miss him so much.
Dayla says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have our dog daughter Hadley painted! She is the best dog either of us have ever had!
Sarah S says
PAINT MY PET! My German shepherd mutt, Gretel, is a weirdo. I’ve never had a dog before who refuses to eat so many things! We’ve resorted to expensive, prescription-only dog food to ensure that she eats every day… well, almost every day. As a puppy, she’d eat fruits and veggies we’d feed her, but no carbs (though that’s not a bad approach to a diet). She’s slowly eliminated anything but meat from her list of acceptable foods. What a little fuss-budget!
Alia Pustorino-Clevenger says
PAINT MY PET! I would want a painting of my three babies–Colbie and Lily the cats and Sammy our dog. The three are the best of friends and do everything from tag team for snuggles to conspire to steal food off the table. They also know to pose for pictures so they would be naturals!
Brittany says
PAINT MY PET(s)! I could never choose one over the other, so I have to say both of our dogs, a weimaraner and a vizsla. They are very good together, although very different. When one of us isn’t home, the weimaraner will go to the closet and grab our shoe, not to chew on but just for closeness. She’ll sit with it until we finally get home. The vizsla is a big teddy bear, but he’s the grumpiest old man you’ve ever seen. Give him a hug and he’ll groan like you’ve offended him.

PAINT MY PET
I would love to have my dog Sak painted. He’s a mastiff mutt and is a 120 lb lap dog!!
Gina says
PAINT MY PET! We have two dogs, but my heart belongs to the little miniature pinscher/Chihuahua mix. He’s so feisty…but as soon as you get him in bed, he’s the biggest cuddler.
Lindsey says
PAINT MY PET! We have a chocolate lab, Jasper. It would be fun to have some Jasper art!
Molly says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have Shasta, our loyal mutt, who sits on our front porch all day unleashed and never runs away.
Heather says
Paint my pet! I’d love a picture of Lola, my 150 lb Mastiff. She has lots of character. She drools non-stop and grazes on our grass just like a cow would.
CathieB says
PAINT MY PET!!! Would love to have a painting of our gorgeous 95 pound golden, BrandyBear!
Allie says
PAINT MY PET! Ours would be of our lovable dachshund/corgi mix, Samson. He is an outgoing, energetic pup!
Marclee McDaniel says
PAINT MY PET!!! I would have her paint my Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Remington. He is probably the only chessie who will not swim or hunt! He does love to cuddle though!
Kera says
PAINT MY PET!
I would have my dog, Sampson, painted. He’s an awesome 12 pound, “chihuahua” (and no telling what else) mix. I adopted him 2 years ago after he was rescued from a puppy mill, and he is my baby! He’s the most lovable dog-he knows no strangers and doesn’t have a mean bone in his little body! Also, his nickname is Radar because he has ears that are WAY to big for his body : )
Becca says
Paint my pet!
I’m not sure if I’d get a portrait of my dog Duncan or have one done for my boyfriend of his kitties. Guess I’ll have to decide when I win! ;)
