And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

“Paint my pet”
My cat daphne is so social and really loves food.
Morgaine says
PAINT MY PET! My kitty cat, Wendy would make a lovely painting. She is so quirky and a little crazy, but loves to cuddle. Since we adopted her from the SPCA, she has been a extremely loving pet and our beloved fur-baby.
Samantha says
PAINT MY PET! We have a 2 year old German Shepherd who is especially loved these days for his ability to calm my pregnancy hormones!
Mely says
Paint My Pet!
Eleanor Rigby aka “Ellie” is a miniature dachshund my husband and I adopted right after we got married. She’s our love and our joy and wants nothing more than cuddles and belly rubs all day long.
It’s a bit confusing that her name rhymes with mine (Mely/Ellie) but only for me. Somehow she’s smart enough to know the difference and I know we’d love a portrait of her!
Chelsea Davis says
Paint my pet!! Please paint my girl Taylor:) She is our greyhound and the most caring dog we’ve ever had. When you talk to her she looks you right in the eyes and seems to really be listening. I know she would love to have her portrait on our living room wall!
Michelle says
PAINT MY PET! My husband and I have a golden retriever and I have been wanting a painting of her to hang in our home! She really is an integral part of our family! Thanks for the Canadian giveaway!
Laura says
Paint my pet! Our golden retriever, Jake, is the most loving and handsome dog, and he is so wonderful with our two year old daughter. He is our first “baby” and we love him so much!
Renee says
Paint my pet!
We would get our adorable pug Maggie painted. She has the cutest cinnabon tail and practically knocks you over when it is dinner time out of pure excitment!
Barbara says
Paint my pet! Our dogs, Lucy and Pepper, are both special. Lucy is a pit mix, loves to cuddle and be by you. Pepper is a lab mix that is either lazy or gets into things depending on his mood :)
Tina says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my 4 year old american bulldog Pearla painted so that I could enjoy her precious face forever. She was just diagnosed with an aggressive cancer last week and I have felt lost and heartbroken ever since just thinking that my time is limited with her.
Everything about her is irresistible and lovable…but I will truly miss the down time lounging together with her head on my lap, and her watching me cook in the kitchen. She is a fighter and not ready to leave me yet! It would mean so much to me (and Pearla) to win this gift. <3
Megan says
PAINT MY PET!
I’m probably an unusual person here in that I don’t have a dog, I have a tortoise! He may not be as personable as a dog, but he is sweet in his own little way. He lets me pet his head as long as I don’t approach him too abruptly! Otherwise he tucks in to his shell and hides from me :P
Vicky V says
Paint my pet…I would love to have one of my dog Zoey, we rescued her two years ago and she is the most amazing dog ever. She is so loving and protecting of her family!
Lauren R. says
PAINT MY PET! We have the most lovable, sweet yellow lab you have ever met, named Charlie. He will be IMPOSSIBLE to replace, but I tell him everyday he will live forever. It would be amazing to have a painting like this of him, to forever have him in our lives.
Kelly says
PAINT MY PET!
I would get a portrait of my baby (dog), Carter, a curly chocolate labradoodle who is the center of our attention… his quirk that makes him special is that he grunts… usually when he’s really happy (we came home!!) or sad (we’re leaving :( ) It’s pretty cute.
Lisa says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have my dog, Max, painted. He’s such a sweetheart that when you ask him if he’s a good dog, he’ll sit up and show you.
Emma says
PAINT MY PET! I would have our Portuguese Water Dog, Ruby, painted. She is the most lovable and hilarious dog, who has become the best “big sister” to our 7 month old daughter!
Erin K. says
PAINT MY PET! We’ve had our dog Leroy for four years now. He is a character and we love him bunches. Last night he tolerated my son putting canning lid bands around his tail. Such a sport.
Kerry says
Ohhhh PAINT MY PET! Her name is Ribsy (after the dog in the Beverly Cleary books). My husband found her running along a highway in the middle of the country. He pulled over to keep her from being hit, checked the neighbors and ended up bringing her home … asleep in his lap at the wheel. She had 53 (fifty-three!) ticks on her itty-bitty body. We love her dearly and maintain that she will grow to be the lap dog of our old age.
Jeni says
Paint my pet, pretty please! Sorry got carried away with the alliteration! Our super-smart Aussie, Sydney-Sue would be the star of our painting. She is the most polite pup. The only time she barks is when she is ready to come back inside and then it is only a single bark, as if to say “ready!”
Kristi says
PAINT MY PET! I would pick my adopted kitty, Clyde. He’s been a lovable companion and the best pet I’ve ever had. He is also adorable and has a very cute and unique face. I think he deserves to be immortalized in art. You can view proof of his cuteness in the photo link below. :)

Paint my pet!! My choice would be our border collie emma. The most obedient and intelligent dog I’ve ever known! And she can jump vertically 6 feet to catch her frisbee!
Sheri says
PAINT MY PET! Our cat, Monte, doesn’t get nearly the attention or love he deserves now that we have two little ones in the house.
Laurel S. says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have to vote that our kitten, Maddie/Scrappie be memorialized, though her big kitty sister might be jealous. Scrappie snuggles all over my neck in the early morning hours, and I draw the line when she starts giving tiny ‘love nibbles’ :)!
Kristen says
PAINT MY PET! Lily is our adorable 2-year-old King Charles Spaniel. She loves food, hates squirrels and feels at home with her head out the car window :)
Amanda reddish says
Paint my pet! Well, we have two shih tzus. Daisy is deaf, so a bit special… Butters is the best because all he does is win.
Ali says
Paint my pet! We have an almost-2-yr-old Border Collie/American Eskimo mix named Amber. She is a nut- hyper and stubborn, but a lovebug and smart as anything! Wouldn’t trade her for the world :)
Lisa Gaddy says
PAINT MY PET! Caleb is also six and now besides being a dog in a permanent tuxedo – he has added some distinguished grey whiskers around his chin and eyes.
Kelsey says
paint my pet! We have blue merle aussie with one blue eye and one brown eye. She’s loyal, smart (for the most part – she has her occasional run-in with an uber clean sliding glass door like any pup!), pretty and unusually chill for her breed. But her best characteristic is the level of “abuse” she takes from our daughter. I tell her she’s earned herself about 10 years of me cleaning up her you-know-what by allowing Lila to “love” her with the intensity of a, well, three year old. :)
Molly says
Paint my pet!! Out newest family member is an adorable yellow lab named Noodles!! :)
Tom says
Paint My Pet!
Maria just celebrated her 8th birthday and we would love to have her painted in celebration.
Margaret says
PAINT MY PET!! My 100lb bernese mountain dog is my one and only (besides my husband, of course)…
Tracy K says
PAINT MY PET!
We adopted an American bulldog at 3 mos. He is now 6 yrs old & told me that he would love a self portrait of himself!
Holly Townsend says
PAINT MY PET!!
I want my sweet little Harley painted. She is a 5 pound poodle/chihuahua mix and is such a funny dog. We call her our little “lint licker” because she likes to kiss people in the mouth and she is very sneaky about it.
Lauren says
PAINT MY PET!! I would love to have a painting with my two dogs Harry and Sally! :) They are my furry children, were adopted at different times, and were both rescue dogs, but now, they’re the best of friends! I love them to pieces!
Thomas says
PAINT MY PET!!!
I would have my dog, Gabriel, painted because he is a dachshund and loves attention! If we start petting and rubbing him we basically can’t stop because he will start squirming, rolling, and sneezing until we pet him again-basically he is allergic to not being touched. We would all enjoy a picture of him so much to add to our collage wall above our couch!
Kate Leonard says
PAINT MY PET!
We are adopting a new (to us!) dog THIS WEEK from a rescue organization and I would love to have a painting of him with our current dog, Lilly (a corgi-lab mix). We are so excited to add him to our family!!
Rachel says
PAINT MY PET!!! I would love a painted picture of my dog Louie because a) he is the most awesome rust red colour, and his portait would go beautifully with the fall decor changes I’m implementing around our house; b) because he has a kink in his tail which looks like it got caught in the escalator (it didn’t we swear!) and having a portrait would boost his self confidence when children scream in terror WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT PUPPY’S TAIL?!?; c) because we have never found out what breed Louie is and no one else can figure it out either soooo it would be a totally unique looking portrait and d) because Louie is sexy and he knows it….WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE WIGGLE
Donna says
PAINT MY PET!
Maria loves to cuddle but only with someone in “her” circle.
Suzy says
Paint my pet! I would want my yorkie, Winchester, painted. He is the most lovable amazing dog EVER. He is very attached and always knows when I need to cuddle. I would love a portrait of him!
Bryan Chippendale says
Paint my pet! I would have my girlfriends toy poodle painted. Besides being the most lovable 12 year old, diabetic dude in the world, he loves to lick. He loves licking you after you’ve rub his belly for 20 minutes. He waits outside the shower door to lick your legs after you get out. He licks the air. But most of all, he loves to lick the couch. So quirky but he is the love of her life (besides me ;)).
Caitlin says
PAINT MY PET! I have a little white chihuahua puppy, and when she’s really excited she dances all over. She will literally hop on her back legs for minutes at a time – it’s hilarious!
Kim S says
PAINT MY PET! I’d have her paint Ollie, our shepherd/lab mix. I recently decorated “his room” (aka the laundry room) and this would be the perfect addition!
Kelley says
PAINT MY PET!
Bean, my kitty, is the weirdest. She hates fleece blankets, won’t jump on the bed unless you move the comforter, and is afraid of heights. But she comes when you call her, she plays hide an seek, and she’s so freakin cute. Her face needs to be memorialized.
Lisa says
Paint my Pet! I have a dachshund named Kiszka and one of the oddest things he does is carry around worms in his mouth and find the perfect spot to roll in them.
Calla says
PAINT MY PET! Our tabby cat carries herself rather regally, so it only seems appropriate that she’d be the subject of a painting!
Shannon says
PAINT MY PET!! We just lost our beloved Dexter unexpectedly last month. The loss has been devastating to my dad as Dexy was his best buddy and I would love to give him a portrait to help ease the pain :(
Lacey says
PAINT MY PET! I rescued a wonderful mutt that I named Phil. He kept me company while I was in graduate school away from all my friends and family. He made my cold apartment a home. :)
Holly Townsend says
PAINT MY PET!
I would love to have my miniature poodle/teacup chihuahua painted. She is five pounds and so silly. Her name is Harley but we often refer to her as “Lint Licker” b/c she will french kiss you and she’s REAL sneaky about it.
Aimee says
PAINt MY PET! I would get a painting of my Newfoundland dog Luci and my Ragdoll cat Xavier. I love them both so much, and just love how much they love each other. They are always cuddling!
