Paint my pet(s)!
Miko and Lady. Both rescued dogs – Miko, a Jindo, came from an abusive home and it is amazing to see the strides she has made in two years to learn to trust people again. Plus they are the besets friends in the whole wide world.

Emily R. says
PAINT MY PET! My husband and I would love to have a painting of our two cats, Nancy and LBC. I had an old cell phone photo of his late cat, Pete, turned into a small canvas piece, and this would be a much nicer partner for that. :)
Michelle says
PAINT MY PET! My Yellow Lab is the apple of my eye and has brought a smile to my face every day for the last 5 1/2 years. I would absolutely love a fun custom portrait of him to add to our home (which has totally been inspired by this blog and the confidence you’ve given me to update an 80s ranch into the house of my dreams)!
Katie says
Paint my pet!! I would get my parents mini doxie, Max, painted for them – he almost died last year after getting hit by a car and now he’s running around and actin a fool! He’s has the best personality and loves to snuggle!

PAINT MY PET! I would get my dog Jaydee painted, she is an Airdale terrier and she looks like a big cartoon teddy bear! She comes up with the most bizarre ways to lay and sit it is so entertaining! She is a very loveable but wild pup and I would love to have her painted.
Carrie L. says
Paint My Pet!! I would have my adorable, beautiful, soft, and amazing boy Roscoe as the subject of this awesome painting. He is a dog who might just think he is a cat.
Haley says
PAINT MY PET! Our corgi, Ein, is the best little girl ever! She has the best personality that could ever inhabit a short, stubby body. She loves to cuddle, but I think the best is when she gets upset if we disturb her sleep. She is so much like a little child, my husband and I love her oh so much.
Lori Noe says
Paint my Pet! Simone, the 8 pound poodle, will steal the heart of the
Ar-teest just as she has stolen ours!
Alex says
PAINT MY PET! My yellow lab Maisy goes nuts if anyone in the family shows affection….if I’m hugging my husband or dancing with my daughters or my husband kisses one of our daughters Maisy starts barking like crazy!
Gwen says
PAINT MY PET! This sounds silly, but we’d paint one of our chickens. We have a little backyard flock. We’re not permitted to have a dog by our landlord, but he’s fine with us having more chickens than are technically allowed (we raised 37 chicks this year, mostly for other people, and he was totally unperturbed. We only kept a few, but still). And my fiance is allergic to cats (which makes me pretty sad). I can’t wait to have a dog one day, but I also love our chickens. They have very clear personalities, particularly the older ones, Oscar and Sammy, who we’ve had for 1 year and 8 months, respectively. But we also have 2 silkies, which are totally funny looking. One, Scout, barely survived her arrival to our house. We did mail order (we won’t again), and the company lied about how many chicks they were shipping, shipped baby miniature chickens with baby standard chickens, which were males, and we had a ridiculously high mortality rate. We’d never had a chick die before, and of the ones that arrived weak, Scout was the only one to survive. Her sister, Boo, just started laying, and is hilarious. Sorry for the novel; I like all of our chickens, and I think it would be awesome to have a portrait of any of them. Thanks :)

PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have a painting of Mr. Wilson, a 12-year-old, long-haired dachshund I rescued back in college. He’s my shadow and the least dog-like dog I’ve ever met, and he brings me so my joy.
Kelly says
PAINT MY PET! and Happy Birthday Burger!
I absolutely love all THREE of our pups, each have such unique human-like personalities. I’m not sure which one I would pick for a portrait.
Jennifer I. says
PAINT MY PET! I have two dogs – a cocker spaniel and a wire haired terrier mix – hard to pick! They’re like my babies and the highlight of my day is the excitement of when I get home! My cocker spaniel wags her whole butt and I get kisses from both – best thing to come home to! I also love how my cocker spaniel (Roxy) burrows under the sheets – kind of like Burger – perfect foot warmer. Too many things to list about Roxy and Tanner!!!
Sandra says
PAINT MY PET!
Our wire fox terrier Artie is a terrier/terror in every way… except when he’s tired. Then he’s a cuddly little guy looking for a good scratch between the ears.
Kathleen Bolton says
Paint my pet! Chumly adopted us in January 2012.
He showed up during the one cold snap we had this past winter. We put an ad in the paper and no one claimed him. We took him to the local vets offices to see if they recognized him ( he is neutered and appeared well cared for). None of the vets recognized and he didn’t have a chip. He has become a wonderful addition to our family and one of my cats just lives him. They give each other kisses all the time. 100 pound Lab and 9 pound cat, quite a sight!
Julie says
Paint my pet!
My Boston Terrier Pickles. She swims like Michael Phelps!
Hallie R. says
PAINT MY PET..I have a fun, crazy, obnixous baby Boxer named Tallahasse (She likes to go by “Tally”)
She is beyond hilarious, and totally knows what she wants and will get all diva like if she is not the center of attention.
So why not give her a full wall dedicated to just Tally!
:)

PAINT MY PET! I would love for my precious pooch to become art!!
Jenn A. says
Paint My Pet! Our fur-child Sawyer is the most wonderful, loving australian shepherd! He has one white ear and his tongue always hangs out the side of his mouth – so cute!
Kay says
Paint my Pet! My Papillon Jesania is the most amazing dog I know. She’s so empathetic to me it’s uncanny. When I’m hyper, she’s hyper. When I’m chill, she’s chill. She can genuinely tell when I’m upset and besides that she is sharp as a tack. When I first got her, she had a habit of running off with my money and hiding it in her cave (behind the couch). And despite being only a third of the height of the trash can, she manages to get the lid off and drag out everything without tipping it over!
Devon says
PAINT MY PET! Miss Riley Jane is our tiny yellow lab. She’s the world’s worst retriever, eats grass, and she moos. We’re pretty sure she hung out with the cows too long at the barn she was born in ;)
Megan says
PAINT MY PET!!! My dog Winnie turned four this past summer, and she is such a special pup :) She is a princess in every way and would LOVE to see herself in a huge painting on the wall.
Diana says
Paint my pet! I would have my adorable dog Maddy painted because she is oh so photogenic.
Courtney says
PAINT MY PET! I would have a hard time picking between my (parents) two dogs. The eldest one was my first dog growing up and has been around for half my life. He is wonderful. The other is younger, and follows the older one around everyone. They are everything to my family!
Ashlee says
Paint My Pet…

Paint my pet!(s). My fur babies are worthy of this prize as they are the greatest things to come home too. They radiate joy and pick me up when I’m sad. Love you Ollie & Logan
Ashley W says
Paint my pet!!! My cavalier would look so cute on the wall!!
Niki says
PAINT MY PET!! I would love to have my Chihuahua, Porsche painted. She turned 7 back in March and I have loved every minute of having her in my life! Porsche has the worst breath known to man kind, its epically bad. People talk about it even when shes not around. :-D I wouldn’t say its something I love about her but it definitely what makes her her!I also love the click click noise she makes walking around on our wood floors.
Alyssa says
PAINT MY PET!! I would love to have a painting of my two chihuahuas. Gabbana and Wasabi deserve a spot on the wall after dealing with the births of our last two kid and the lack of attention they’ve been getting because of them!
Ashley G says
PAINT MY PET! I just said today that I would love to have a painting of my late Jack. My family lost him the day after Christmas last year and he was so much more than a dog or pet to me.
Lizzie says
PAINT MY PET! I rwas Leslie’s lively blog too and I love her paintings. We have an almost 6 year old Corgi called Ted. He is entertaining weird in many ways, probably most notably because he is very chatty. He groans and if you groan back he’ll just keep talking and talking.
Jaclyn says
PAINT MY PET!
My adorable 16-year-old Domino. He’s been my one constant through 16 years of being married to a super military man (e.g., we move a lot…and Domino has been everywhere with us). He’s def getting old and I just love him to pieces.
Caroline says
Paint my pet! We already have 2 prints in honor of our Boston but he deserves the best!
Kacie says
oh yes..this is too perfect. PAINT MY PET, y’all! My main man’s name is Burger, too! (and by man…I mean 80 lb lab mix) Were you guys hungry when you named him, or was that just me? :)
Burg’s trademark is his offensively large tongue, which hangs so far out of his mouth that my now one year old (it’s her birfday, I’m crying while writing..) can grab a fist full and pull (what a visual…I know). I’ve been looking for ideas how to showcase him just being him in our tiny house that we are starting to build (doing a *tiny* collage of paintings of things I love) this is oh-so-totally “us”!
Megan says
PAINT MY PETS! We have two totally different cats: one grey, round and small, and one orange, long and big. They are cute in photos together.
erin klegstad says
PAINT MY PET! I would love my wild weimaraner, Zoey, painted. She turns 11 in December and is the sweetest, most loyal hound ever (despite all her sassiness!)!
Riann says
PAINT MY PET! I have a black and white pit bull mix named Brody and he is absolutely my best buddy! He’s a rescue dog, and so incredibly affectionate. Whether we’re going for a walk around the park or taking a long nap on a weekend afternoon, he’s always down for it as long as he’s with me.
Rachel R says
PAINT MY PET!! Bailey is the most photogenic little mixed breed pup, and would make an excellent model and work of art!
Jessica says
Paint my pet! Can’t decide between our dog Duke who died last year, he was a beagle jack Russell mix and full of energy, or our new dog Minnie.
Kristen T. says
PAINT MY PET!
Maybe my golden named Cooper or I’d gift it to my friend with her ailing dog Violet.
Eric says
PAINT MY PET! Sammy is a 17 lb fat, fat cat that we couldn’t live without!
