And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

Paint My Pet – he is so livable… all furry and black he is the perfect excuse to sit on the couch. He knows how to “play baby” so we can walk around the house with his head on our shoulders … very adorable cockatoo. I was so thrilled to find out Canada was part pf the giveaway. Thanks

Paint my pet!
I love Asuka, our mixed breed dog, and would love for her to be painted. She is so goofy, but MAN is she a good dog. She is so excited to see us when we come home, and practically levitates when she sees us with her collar. WALK WALK WALK! She loves going anywhere with us and will always lay on the floor wherever she can see both my husband and I, if we’re not in the same room. She is the sweetest dog, ever, hands down!
Julie says
PAINT MY PET! I would choose my old dog Lucky. He’s really getting on in years. He’s a very loyal dog.
Kathryn says
PAINT MY PET!!! I have a min-pin who is just wild. He is a ball of barking, love and protectiveness!
Sarah says
PAINT MY PET! Our dog, Malcolm, is about to turn 4 on October 17th. We rescued him 3 years ago and he is the sweetest dog! (little, black schnauzer/terrier mix)
Tracie says
Paint my pup! My dog Hazel is already pretty full of herself but i think a personalized portrait on our wall would really complete her ego inflation. And at 6 years young, like Burger, shes looking for a boyfriend :-) I hope he likes blondes!
Cameron T says
PAINT MY PET! My dog Jill is the most spoiled dog alive. Her idea of a walk around the neighborhood is to ride in the front seat of the golf cart.
lacey says
Paint my pet! I’d have my mom’s favorite cat imortalized in art. She just lost her yesterday, she was such a sweet kitty.
Melissa says
PAINT MY PET!!!My pets are my children. I would love to start a collection of wall portraits of all my babies! My life is better because of pets in my home and in my heart!

Beth says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my dog painted- she is just like me, which is so cool. It’s like she’s my own flesh and blood!
rainfall says
PAINT MY PET!!!!!My cat Hershey Kisses is 16 years old and we love her! One of the things that makes her so special is her different meows, each is different depending on what she wants. It really is like her own language. Another funny thing is her addiction to ice cream. She knows right away when I’m eating ice cream {which is often :)}. She sits at my feet patiently until I’m done, then she gets to lick the bowl. It is cute because she is like a little guard dog, standing guard for the bowl. Too cute!! PS I love Leslie’s paintings, I follow her blog too. Very talented!!
Stephanie says
PAINT MY PET! I have a one year old Aussie/Border Collie mix named Finn! He is my little buddy and I can’t imagine life without him! I would DEF. want his portrait painted!

PAINT MY PET!
I would have our dog Rusty painted. He actually passed away back in 2009. He was a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. My daughter, who is almost 9, still talks about him on almost a daily basis. Rusty would sleep next to her bed and would follow her up and down the street as she rode her bike. He was the best dog ever (except for when he pushed the screen out of the front window of the house to get out, oh and then he ate it).
The painting would be hung with pride in my daughter’s room.

PAINT MY PET!
My boyfriend and I bought our black lab, Benelli, almost two years ago now and I never knew my heart could be so full of love for an animal. I grew up with pets but have never had a bond with a dog quite like my bond with her. She’s a member of our family, the best cuddler I know, and I swear she makes facial expressions just like a person. Having a painting of our B would be a wonderful way to commemorate just how wonderful she is!
Shiloah says
PAINT MY PET!–(please) We have an adopted daschund/terrier mix named Ranger. My five year old son calls him his “brother” and they are as close as brothers! We would love to have a painting of our sweet dog!
Lisa says
PAINT MY PET! Litterally. Get it? We have a 50/50 tabby siamese with gorgeous blue eyes who follows us on walks in the hood and chases squirrels. She was one of a litter of ten foster kittens in Charlotte, NC.
Katie says
Paint my pet! I’d have our dog, MacDuff, painted in his usual “belly rub” pose. I made the mistake of teaching him to play dead as his first trick after I adopted him, and ever since that’s all he thinks about all day. It isn’t uncommon for him to strike this pose while we’re watching tv, and wait so long for a reaction from us that he falls asleep like that ;)
Cathy C says
Paint my Pet! I love my puppy dogs!
Shelley says
PAINT MT PET!!! I’ve been wanting to get our pointer Ruffino painted for ages! We joke that he’s the most metrosexual dog you’d ever come across :D
shelly says
i LOVE Lesli’s works of art!
my boston terrier, Stella, would be a perfect model!
( i see her as the Mona Lisa of the dog world!)
Anne says
PAINT MY PET! Our family dog – Henri – falls in love with beach towels and sometimes looks like Gary Busey !
Ferne K says
Paint my pet! I would get a memorial painting of my late greyhound, Rigby. We lost him this past summer and it would be a fantastic way to remember the greatest friend a girl could ever hope for. I miss his cuddles and peanut butter kisses daily.
Katherine in VA says
PAINT MY PET! I have a 7 year old chocolate lab named Tater. She is my first baby and is the sweetest pup ever. When we brought our son home from the hospital a little over a year ago, she instantly bonded with him and is so sweet with him. I’d love a picture of her on my walls!
Elizabeth J says
PAINT MY PET ~ I still miss my beloved cat, Peridot. Lucky me his adopted sibling Emily is still here. I have the perfect picture of both that would make a great addition to my home.
Martha says
Paint my pet! We have two large pups that I’d love to have painted, both of whom are crazy pants dumb. One definitely smiles at us and gives hugs, and the other dances like a circus dog when he’s happy.
Tracey Thomas says
Paint my pet! I have a Boston terrie/pug mix named ELLIE and she always knows just what to do to cheer me up or make me laugh!
Brittany says
PAINT MY PET! We have adopted a super sweet (but crazy) weimaraner who loves to cuddle!! She thinks she is a human and even uses a pillow for her head while sleeping! Did I mention she’s spoiled?
Rebecca says
PAINT MY PET! My beloved Maggie (the most amazing Jack Russell), got sick and passed away in May and not a day goes by where I haven’t thought of her on many occasions. She was my faithful side kick for 8 years; this world is not the same without her. I loved everything about her- her snuggly self, her eagerness to go on a walk anytime and the way she put up w/ our 4 kids. I’d love this chance to have a cheerful picture of her in my office!
Ashley says
PAINT MY PET! My husband finally caved and got me a golden retriever puppy this summer. Chase is now 4 months old and is always by our side. Currently he’s missing about half of his teeth and likes to gum at our hands. He also winks at us a lot.
Jessica D says
Paint my pet! I’d have my wheaten terrier mix rescue dog, Sonny painted. What makes Sonny so special is his love of life. He gets excited over everything! According to him, taking a walk is the best. Riding in the car is so much fun. Playing frisbee is awesome. Snuggling on the couch is sweet. He reminds to enjoy the little things in life!
Stephanie says
PAINT MY PET!
Ralphie just NEEDS a portrait to capture all of his quirkiness forever. He is a beagle/Basset hound/dalmatian mix and you can see each piece in his head/long body & short legs/spots, respectively. I love that little guy so much!
ElizabethAnn says
PAINT MY PET! My dog, Fenway, would be the pet I choose to be painted. He’s my little side kick and best friend. When I walk Fenway, I sometimes bring a book. When he sniffs out a chipmunk, he will spend a good hour digging, trying to get it. He never does. They always scoot between his legs when he’s not looking. But that one hour is great exercise for a terrier, and a great way for me to get some reading in. I just plop my butt on the ground and read while he digs.
Beth says
PAINT MY PET!!
My sweet rescue Tippy will turn 14 in a couple of months. I love that she winks (yes really…she winks!) and flashes a big smile when you walk in the room! I love my baby girl!
Erin says
Paint my pet!
Caitlin says
PAINT MY PET! My dog, Paddy, is a pit bull mix who is my constant companion and best friend. He breaks stereotypes and myths about pit bulls every day by being a sweet, gentle soul who loves nothing more than being with and loving on people and other dogs.
Vincent says
PAINT MY PET! My 9 year old Boomer, it’s about time he gets some photos or a painting(!) on the wall.
Dorothy says
PAINT MY PET! I have a cockapoo named Poochie who would love to be painted! She is a (vain) elderly grumpy lady in a dog’s body. We had to say goodbye to our older lab this spring so she is representing for both of them now!
Chris Doty says
PAINT MY PET!
I have a little rescue Chihuahua that looks a lot like Burger, his name is Shelbert. I’ve had him for about three years now and I head over heals in love with him. He doesn’t do much of anything remarkable beside being cute and lovable. His weird thing is he is petrified of our waffle maker, so that counts for something, right?
Caitlin Restivo says
PAINT MY PET!! I would love a picture of my cat Morris. He was my Grama’s and my husband and I adopted her after she moved to assisted living. He is very quirky and has a signiture pose, always sitting with one leg up exposing his big white belly!
Laura D. says
PAINT MY PET! Well, actually my sister-in-law’s pet :) We have 2 doggies and I wouldn’t be able to decide between them, however our sister in law just moved into a new place and would LURVE a painting of her sweet pup to hang!
christine m says
PAINT MY PET! I would get a portrait of my bestie, Ernesto. When we rescued him he was a hot mess (i had to train him to not be terrified of the trash cans on trash day and to not have a meltdown every time he saw a stranger come close) but he’s definitely my best friend and an amazing dog!
