And the lucky random pet parent who’s about to get a cheery pet portrait is… Kirstin (who’s excited to get a portrait of Lola, her “adorable Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix”). Congrats Kirstin AND Lola! UPDATE: Kirstin sent us a photo of Lola. Isn’t she a heartbreaker?

PAINT MY PET!! I would love to have a picture of my cat Rudy (short for Rudolph), who was named because he has a pink nose that’s only a couple of shades off from the famous reindeer. He’s 17 and still the sweetest cat in the world – everybody loves him!
-alex says
Paint my pet! Actually, it would have to be a memorial image of our first baby, Mac the chocolate lab. We perfected(?) our parenting techniques on him before having kids. He died at age 14 two years ago. He was a sweet and lovely dog.

Our pooch, Cane, came to us via a pet rescue org. Poor boy was trapped for almost three weeks post-Katrina. He’s the bee’s knees. Doesn’t tolerate storms too well, but what a pup.
Stephanie says
PAINT MY PET! We just adopted a baby collie mix named Topaz on Friday!
Lisa L says
PAINT MY PET!!! Paint my dog, Indy. He is 13.5 yrs old and he is the laziest dog around. We love him to bits and regularly post “action” shots of him on FB (as a joke – he is usually on the bed or the couch snoring. Yes. All. Day. Long.) He would be VERY EASY to do a portrait of :-)

PAINT MY PET!
I would have my dog painted — I have three, but my oldest dog is 16 and has been with me since I was 9 years old. He’s the sweetest, always looking for a belly rub or a scratch behind the ear, and if I sit on the floor to watch TV he’ll get up (slowwwwly because he’s so old) from his pillow and come sit in my lap.
Aileen says
PAINT MY PET! We actually don’t have a pet– but we pretend our best friend’s wiener dog is ours. Her name is Nugget, and she’s just about the coolest dog you can hang with! Would love to get a portrait for her dad!
Janet says
“PAINT MY PET!” The best dog ever…Boogie our Austrailian Shepard who recently passed of stomach cancer. I have type I diabetes and whenever he I was working in the yard he would come lick me if my blood sugar was low. He was never a licky dog so I knew to go check and eat something. We really miss that guy!
Megan says
PAINT MY PET! I would have my goofy corgi Gertie painted. Gertie is the best soccer player ever. I am thinking puppy Olympics 2016!
Renae says
Paint my pet…
We have a mini golden doodle named Lucy. She’s a red head. She’s adorable. She was one last week and is our first pet. She’s been a bit of a challenge but I think that comes mostly from our naïveté when it comes to dogs. :) But things are going pretty well now. Whew! I love when she wants to lie down on the sofa she nudges all of the pillows onto the floor en route to her spot at the end. It’s really funny to watch her knock them all over.
Mandy says
Paint my pet! Well not my pet.. I’d love to give this as a gift this Christmas! :D
Marie says
PAINT MY PET!! I have a lab/rott mix that I would love to have painted. The way his tail thumps every time I look over at him makes him especially lovable.
Annie says
PAINT MY PET! Hudson is a little puppy that looks like an old man.
Jenn M says
Paint My Pet…please! I have two cats and their names are Prince Mince (13 yrs old) and Mini Cooper (3 yrs old). They are fancy cats with clothes, beds, and strollers. I kid not! I love those wild and crazy cats.
Lauren K. says
PAINT MY PET!
I’d love to have a painting of my dog, Zoe. She’s got a killer personality – she’s a bit goofy, a bit stubborn, and 100% sweet. I love her quirks – she is scared of anything that makes her feet cold (metal flooring, puddles, etc), loves to eat ice cubes (cheapest dog treat ever), and will do just about anything for a chunk of banana.
Courtney Madden says
PAINT MY PET! This is what I want for Christmas!! Our pup is especially talented at dancing. He also LOVES The Office theme song and he actually (I swear) trys to mimic it perfectly! He’s pretty good, he’s got all the high and low notes down, he just can’t do the melody because of a lack of vocal cords.
Leslie says
Paint my pet–please!
I’d love a painting of Myla, our sweet two-year-old Cavalier King Charles who we added to our family after we experienced a miscarriage. She loves us unconditionally and is the best cuddler. :)
Lauren says
PAINT MY PET! I would love to have my husband’s late dog, Figaro painted! He loved that dog so much for his energy and vivaciousness he brought to the home! Plus my husband loves colorful art so this would be perfect in our home!
Megan V. says
PAINT MY PET!! I have a german shepherd named Cali. She is the sweetest, smartest dog ever. She also has such an attitude! I love it. We rescued her when she was a gangling pup and she’s now a beautifully marked dog. Love her!

Rachel says
Paint My Pet! or should I say, my brother’s pet. He lost his beloved dog two months ago, too early and too tragically. Everyone loved this dog…..and I mean everyone. Such a happy, sweet, loveable, soft, precious doggy. We’ve been talking about getting a portrait done, so this would be so perfect!
Jenn says
PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have our Border Collie painted. Her name is Basil and she loves to burp – Loudly. It often sounds like human burps.
connie says
Paint my pet. It would be our 3 year old German short haired pointer, Gritty. Any one else would have given up on him by now…he’s too high energy and eats his way out of crates, but he’s my husbands best hunting buddy and such a lover we could never part with him.
Sarah says
PAINT MY PET
I would have my cat Kiko painted because she is the kitty love of our lives.
Katie B. says
PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have a painting of our fabulous duo of dogs: our golden retriever & Australian shepherd . Their personalities exactly resemble those of Pinky & the Brain. :)
Kelly D says
PAINT MY PET! I’d love to have a painting of our dog, Fiona. She was a puppy mill rescue and has come to be one of the best dogs. She couldn’t be any more patient or loving with our one year old daughter and although she has some “special” traits, we wouldn’t trade her for anything.
Kim Pichard says
PAINT MY PET!
OMG, where do I start? My mini-dachshund Pennie is my first “baby”, and she has taken a back-seat lately to our new human baby. I would love to have a portrait of her curled up in her “donut position”.
Robin says
PAINT MY PET! I would get a painting of my puppy Riley. He’s a Hound/Terrier mix that we got from our local Humane Society. When he gets excited, he goes into “tornado mode” where he runs in large circles until he tires him self out. It’s hilarious to watch.
