Since we know you guys love personalized stationery as much as we do (and we always like to support other husband and wife teams), we’re psyched to bring you this week’s giveaway from Wild Ink Press. This duo – plus their 2 year old son/sidekick- churns out beautiful letterpress stationery by hand (and foot). And they print all of their stuff on 100% recycled paper or cotton and reuse everything from scraps to clean-up rags, always keeping their process as eco-friendly as possible. But of course, it’s their stunning designs that are the real stars of their process.
And this week, TWO of you are going to win a custom set of letterpress stationery (up to a $150 value each!). Here are the five designs our winners will have the pleasure of choosing from, either for themselves (or maybe even as a Valentine’s Day gift?). First we have The Signature, which puts your name in a silver metallic script with a custom icon to add some whimsy. And you can pick from green, pink, khaki or gray envelopes to match. Man, I wish my signature came out this fancy looking every time I sign on the dotted line.
The Dictionary is a classic design with dark brown or black ink on ivory paper. And speaking of the ivories, the khaki envelope comes lined with vintage sheet music or an actual dictionary page (smoking jacket and pipe not included).
The Bandana Paisley is kinda dusty old west meets colorful sophistication. Pick from a magenta, turquoise, purple or red paisley to coordinate with a gray, khaki or purple envelope. A far cry from the days of the Pony Express.
The Nautical had us at “ahoy.” It comes on beachy pale blue paper with a ship ghosted in the background and a handsome navy envelope.
The Audrey is a combo of a sophisticated dotted pinstripe and your name printed in a playful circus font. The orange or magenta color options for both the type and envelope finish off the big top design.
Have you already picked out the one you love? Well here’s how you can vie for your chance to win (bonus: stay tuned for a discount on Thursday- everyone sort of wins in the end):
- PRIZE: A 30-piece set of custom letterpress stationery from Wild Ink Press (selected from the five designs shown here).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PRESS ME” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …tell us about your writing style. Do you write exclusively in cursive? Do you rock all caps all of the time? Do you dot your I’s with something special? Is your penmanship virtually unreadable? Or do you just avoid hand-writing at all costs?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 3rd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: You name it. They’ll ship it anywhere!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

PRESS ME! My handwriting used to be lovely and funky and I really liked looking at pages and pages of handwritten notes from college. Now it’s a sloppy mix of cursive and print – fingers out of practice with all this typing.
Laurie Stoever says
“PRESS ME”
I am a printing/cursive kind of gal! My second grade teacher said since I was lefthanded I would never be able to learn cursive or write neatly so I decided to prove her wrong and use both!
Wendy says
PRESS ME!
I write in all caps–a habit from my architecture and design classes. The handwriting’s gone from crisp and precise over the years, though, to positively sloppy. But I don’t work in architecture anymore, so it probably doesn’t matter so much.

I write in print only – my cursive is terrible! Oh, and I think I should win because I share a name with one of the winning options. ;)
Kirsten Keane says
PRESS ME!
My handwriting is a cross between cursive and print. I would say it’s mostly print, but I have a few letters that are in cursive, and I always connect the letters. But at least it’s easy to read!
Meg says
PRESS ME!
My style is a mix of script and print.
Chris says
PRESS ME!
Depends on the day, and my mood, but it goes between loopy cursive, print or all caps.
Kim says
Press me! I have a strong admiration for those with perfect penmanship, but I love all things type and these cards are just gorgeous!!!!
Ashley says
Press ME!!
My handwriting is a unique mixture of cursive and print. But some days it’s all caps. I love to play around with my handwriting. I remember in elementary it was really loopy and hearts on my i’s. haha.
Shauna says
Press Me!
I have a weird combo of print and cursive and as I’ve gotten older, I’ve forgotten how to do either one exclusively. Weird.
Anna says
Press me! I have two distinct styles of writing – all caps with very architectural look for filling out forms and anything work related and then a flowy,cursive-like print for to do lists, personal notes and writing in cards. I have no idea why they come out differently!

Gorgeous stationary! Letters in cursive…shopping lists in print.
LauraJane says

LOVE Letterpress stationary! I often write cursive and printing in one line– opps!
Kelley says
PRESS ME! I have been told I’ve got super-neat printing (all caps, never cursive!) and those who’ve received my letters could, at a bit of a distance, imagine they were typed! It’s pretty recognizable and looks like an architect or draftsman did it. Fun to write that way and be an artsy, silly librarian!
Elaine says
PRESS ME! I usually print, but so quickly that it ends up looking like cursive.
knitterature says

My writing style: all cursive, all fountain pen. I think of written correspondence as a package — pretty paper + best penmanship + content — so I work hard at it!
Janet says
PRESS ME!
If I have the right pen, I have lovely handwriting, otherwise, it’s rather uneven.
Adrianne says

I print but with flourish! These would be SOO great for special wedding shower thank yous!
Brea says

I’m the chameleon of penmanship. Bubbly, round cursive or fast, illegible, slanted “doctor” script. Neat-as-a-pin block printing, all caps, all lower. I often think I could fool a handwriting analyst. In any case, my writing style usually matches my mood (or stress level). ;)
Tiffany T. says
Press Me! I write in both cursive and print together all the time.Depending on the pen it can be pretty or pretty ugly. I love the circus/tangerine stationary…would make great wedding invitations..
erin says

I like to mix it up a little. Cursive and print combined.
Shiri says

My handwriting is pretty messy, unless I’m trying REALLY hard and writing REALLY slow… Part cursive, part print, all messy…
Kim says

My writing changes with my moods; mostly print, rarely cursive.
MrsEAM says

My handwriting is a combo of cursive and print for different letters. If I’m in a hurry it gets really messy!!
grace says

It depends on how much I’m writing. In general it’s a mix of cursive and print, but the more I write, the more definitive my loops are in cursive.
YL says

Definitely a hybrid which changes over the course of a page.
Diana says
PRESS ME! Oh, these are so pretty.

Ellie says
PRESS ME! I’ve been told that my hybrid print/cursive/some caps handwriting is nicer to look at than to read
Mary Beth says
PRESS ME :)
I have been told I have the teeny-tiniest handwriting by everyone who has seen it…must be leftover from my childhood days (and maiden name) which required fitting 18 letters on all those small “name” lines.
Danae V. says
PRESS ME!
I mix and mash my cursive and print. It is okay but I’m always jealous of those with pretty handwriting.
Laura says
Press Me! I make my A’s like this type shows, hook over the loop and a tail, not just the plain ole loop and tail like most people, nothing too special but its me!
Amanda says
PRESS ME
I love allof the designs but the bandana paisley is my fav
as far as my penmanship ughh it needs work. I would love to send personel notes more often!!
Gabrielle says
PRESS ME! I’m part cursive and part printing….which makes it rather hard to read sometimes. Poor recipients of my letters probably never know what I’m trying to say.
Rebekah says
PRESS ME! I have my Dad’s handwriting which i used to greatly resent. I was envious of the pretty girly writing my friends had in grade school. But now, i love looking at my hand writing and seeing my Dad’s penmenship. It’s something i will always cherish now that i’m older.

As a lover of the art of letterpress – PRESS ME!
Unfortunately, in this digital era, I don’t write nearly as much as I should. Emails are so easy, but also not personable. Thus, my penmenship has really taken hit.

“PRESS ME”! I defintely write in print…my friends call my handwriting bubbleslow….as my letters are very bubbly and neat….and I write very slow! But, that is to make sure it is neat.

I am actually kind of OCD about handwriting (sort of embarrassing, my mom has always made fun of me because I wrote my name all over every piece of paper in the house when I was growing up!). I love to play around with new handwriting styles and I really like to perfect my own penmanship! I also LOVE fonts and finding new and modern styles – this stationary is awesome!
