Since we know you guys love personalized stationery as much as we do (and we always like to support other husband and wife teams), we’re psyched to bring you this week’s giveaway from Wild Ink Press. This duo – plus their 2 year old son/sidekick- churns out beautiful letterpress stationery by hand (and foot). And they print all of their stuff on 100% recycled paper or cotton and reuse everything from scraps to clean-up rags, always keeping their process as eco-friendly as possible. But of course, it’s their stunning designs that are the real stars of their process.
And this week, TWO of you are going to win a custom set of letterpress stationery (up to a $150 value each!). Here are the five designs our winners will have the pleasure of choosing from, either for themselves (or maybe even as a Valentine’s Day gift?). First we have The Signature, which puts your name in a silver metallic script with a custom icon to add some whimsy. And you can pick from green, pink, khaki or gray envelopes to match. Man, I wish my signature came out this fancy looking every time I sign on the dotted line.
The Dictionary is a classic design with dark brown or black ink on ivory paper. And speaking of the ivories, the khaki envelope comes lined with vintage sheet music or an actual dictionary page (smoking jacket and pipe not included).
The Bandana Paisley is kinda dusty old west meets colorful sophistication. Pick from a magenta, turquoise, purple or red paisley to coordinate with a gray, khaki or purple envelope. A far cry from the days of the Pony Express.
The Nautical had us at “ahoy.” It comes on beachy pale blue paper with a ship ghosted in the background and a handsome navy envelope.
The Audrey is a combo of a sophisticated dotted pinstripe and your name printed in a playful circus font. The orange or magenta color options for both the type and envelope finish off the big top design.
Have you already picked out the one you love? Well here’s how you can vie for your chance to win (bonus: stay tuned for a discount on Thursday- everyone sort of wins in the end):
- PRIZE: A 30-piece set of custom letterpress stationery from Wild Ink Press (selected from the five designs shown here).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PRESS ME” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …tell us about your writing style. Do you write exclusively in cursive? Do you rock all caps all of the time? Do you dot your I’s with something special? Is your penmanship virtually unreadable? Or do you just avoid hand-writing at all costs?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 3rd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: You name it. They’ll ship it anywhere!

Cursive-print mix. It usually comes out pretty messy, unless I’m writing carefully, making sure I can read my notes for later.

I don’t write much anymore – but I bet gorgeous personalized stationery would change that. :)

I really dig the Dictionary. I don’t end up writing all the often, but when I do I tend to write in all-caps. JUST LIKE MY DAD, but my signature is dead wringer for my mom’s.
Thanks for participating in such a great giveaway!

I sometimes get sloppy, but usually I write with pretty crisp print. I hand-wrote all of my wedding escort cards and got lots of compliments on my normal, everyday handwriting.
RebeccaC says
PRESS ME!I seem to use cursive more for myself and write notes and letters in print. I always have this feeling the recipient won’t be able to read my cursive handwriting.
Mason Leskowitz says
PRESS ME!! Please!
I would love to write to my parents about the antics and activities of their grandchildren. This gorgeous stationary would make each letter a keepsake!
I write in a combo of cursive and print. But a woman I knew took a class on perfectionism, and was taught that you should practice perfect penmanship – it is a simple and obtainable perfection.
Now that my eldest is in kindergarden I’ve been practicing my printing (to encourage him with his). As soon as he starts cursive, I will too!

My handwriting is mostly cursive, and looks quite nice on the page… until you have to read it!
Rachele Huelsman says
PRESS ME!
I write in cursive with my left hand and print with my right hand. It’s weird, but works for me. I tend to print more.
Jennifer W says
Press me! I write in an unusual cursive-print hybrid that few can decipher.
Lindsey Charron says
Press me…
My handwriting is horrible unfortunately. I always write in regular print, but I have to write really slowly because otherwise everything looks like chicken scratch. =(

My handwriting changes based on my energy level :) I usually write very big and pretty bubbly though!

My penmanship is a mix of cursive and print, and for some reason, I ALWAYS capitalize my “Rs” no matter where they appear in a word. It just looks better than a lowercase “r” to my eyes!
Jenna says

I tend towards writing in cursive because I think it’s rather fun and I get compliments on how pretty it is. But I love to print and write in all caps as well – depends on my mood and what I’m writing. Lol!
Kallie says

I write pretty exclusively in cursive–it is much faster for me (and much less legible for everybody else)!
Stephanie Karpicke says
PRESS ME!
I am cursive all the way!
Amy says
“PRESS ME” Sadley, I’m pretty sloppy when it comes to anything handwritten. Most of the time i start off legible but by the end of the sentence I usually can’t make out my own writing.
debianne says
PRESS ME! I love to write in cursive and I write with a Fountain Pen. I love the feel of the ink flowing on a nice sheet of paper.
Dolores says
Press me!! I need to practice my cursive writing…the computer has taken over my penmanship.
Rebecca says
This post reminds me of dandelion handwriting!
I incorporate some print into my upper case cursive because I dislike writing certain letters…D, Q, S, and Z being among them.
Laura says

I guess you could call my handwriting ‘legible scrawl’.
Maggie says

I am a teacher who has naturally pretty messy handwriting. I have to pay close attention to my writing when writing on the board in front of the class!
Beth says
PRESS ME! My handwriting is a combo of printing and cursive, but I type much faster than I write, so I try to use my computer as much as possible.
Julie says
PRESS ME! I’m a little cursive and a little print mixed together
Lyndsey says
PRESS ME! Like many others, my handwriting is a mix of print and cursive. I love handwritten cards- I hope I win some stationery!

My writing is a cursive/printing combo that can be un-readable if I’m not careful!
Erin says
press me! i only write in hieroglyphics. except for this post…

I write in this strange print-cursive hybrid, which is generally legible but only if I can turn whatever I’m writing at a 90* angle to the left. If I try to write on paper that is facing me in a “portrait” style, my writing leans so far left that it just looks like diagonally-slanted lines and squiggles.
I think you’d just have to see it to picture that sort of mess.

I’ve always had flowery, old fashioned handwriting, but I love it! Handwriting is becoming a lost art… I love stationary!
Dominique says

I almost always write in cursive. I’ve done it for so long, I find it hard to stop myself and write in print.
Chrissy says

My handwriting is a combination of cursive and print, though I am known to ROCK the all caps here and there. I really do have pretty nice handwriting, probably because I spent years perfecting it because my parents always said that messy handwriting is just being lazy. ;)
Kate says

My handwriting is virtually illegible. I am actually sort of embarrassed to send birthday and thank you cards.
Linda says

I change up my handwriting all the time. It goes from caps to cursive to normal to whatever. You have to keep things interesting!
Hayley says
PRESS ME! I’m definitely another cursive/print combo and I heart this stationary!!
I also love your blog! :)

Cursive all the time, always. It’s so much faster for me and I don’t think my printing is very pretty.

I have always rocked all caps! I used to get in so much trouble while in school. Old habits are hard to break:)
Lauren says
PRESS ME! (Pretty please?)
I also write in a print/cursive hybrid. I do aspire to have
pretty handwriting, though, as I love to write thank you notes and letters. But really, mine’s a big mess! Oh well.
Sheryl J says

I’m in the military, so my handwriting mainly write in all caps. I honestly think that it looks better than my title case writing.
Leslie says

Everyone says I have nice handwriting but I think it’s horrible. I’ve always wanted that whimsical handwriting a lot of girls have, but I just don’t. It’s pretty normal and pretty blah. Even with ugly penmanship I LOVE handwritten notes. Love em!

I adore hand-writing. My 4th grade teacher hammered into us her style of cursive, which to this day I mimic. It is actually quite lovely to the point that my relatives are constantly reqesting that I take on their hand-written-required projects.
