Since we know you guys love personalized stationery as much as we do (and we always like to support other husband and wife teams), we’re psyched to bring you this week’s giveaway from Wild Ink Press. This duo – plus their 2 year old son/sidekick- churns out beautiful letterpress stationery by hand (and foot). And they print all of their stuff on 100% recycled paper or cotton and reuse everything from scraps to clean-up rags, always keeping their process as eco-friendly as possible. But of course, it’s their stunning designs that are the real stars of their process.
And this week, TWO of you are going to win a custom set of letterpress stationery (up to a $150 value each!). Here are the five designs our winners will have the pleasure of choosing from, either for themselves (or maybe even as a Valentine’s Day gift?). First we have The Signature, which puts your name in a silver metallic script with a custom icon to add some whimsy. And you can pick from green, pink, khaki or gray envelopes to match. Man, I wish my signature came out this fancy looking every time I sign on the dotted line.
The Dictionary is a classic design with dark brown or black ink on ivory paper. And speaking of the ivories, the khaki envelope comes lined with vintage sheet music or an actual dictionary page (smoking jacket and pipe not included).
The Bandana Paisley is kinda dusty old west meets colorful sophistication. Pick from a magenta, turquoise, purple or red paisley to coordinate with a gray, khaki or purple envelope. A far cry from the days of the Pony Express.
The Nautical had us at “ahoy.” It comes on beachy pale blue paper with a ship ghosted in the background and a handsome navy envelope.
The Audrey is a combo of a sophisticated dotted pinstripe and your name printed in a playful circus font. The orange or magenta color options for both the type and envelope finish off the big top design.
Have you already picked out the one you love? Well here’s how you can vie for your chance to win (bonus: stay tuned for a discount on Thursday- everyone sort of wins in the end):
- PRIZE: A 30-piece set of custom letterpress stationery from Wild Ink Press (selected from the five designs shown here).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PRESS ME” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …tell us about your writing style. Do you write exclusively in cursive? Do you rock all caps all of the time? Do you dot your I’s with something special? Is your penmanship virtually unreadable? Or do you just avoid hand-writing at all costs?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 3rd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: You name it. They’ll ship it anywhere!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

It seems my handwriting style is never the same. If I really concentrate and take my time, it’s a lovely little mix of print and cursive. But watch out if I’m hurriedly writing….it’s a COMPLETE MESS!

My Mom thinks my handwriting is awful. It is a mix between cursive and printing. I am pretty proud of my good habit to write thank you notes, so I always LOVE stationery.
Jenny Herbison says
Press Me! I am a first grade teacher, so I have pretty good printing and I always forget to use cursive when I can!
Cassidi says

I do a weird mix of cursive and print!
Ashley says

My handwriting depends on my mood. This morning I wrote out this week’s “to do” list in all cursive. But that’s a rare thing.
Amanda - Small Home Big Start says
I tend to write a cursive and printing mix.
Sandy says
Press me! My handwriting has a bubbly personality without being too cutesy. My most unique letter is the way I write my “g”s with two circles connected by a short line. Sometimes I forget the line leaving two funny circles stacked on top of one another.
Molly says

I’m a cursive and print girl, all in one.
Roberta says

I like writing and printing depending on the situation…for formal things I use cursive and for notes and journaling I print. Both are legible, I’m just faster when I print and I use very round, fat letters.

It’s pretty bad. Should’ve been a doctor.

Cursive… and ususally it’s legible! :)

Like many others that have commented, I like a print-cursive hybrid.

My handwriting is a mixture of cursive and printing. It can get pretty messy!

I almost always write in cursive.

My handwriting has evolved over time… there are certain letters I consciously worked on (like a lowercase “b” and “q”) and other things that just sort of emerged. It’s pretty much a blend of cursive and printing.
Cari says

Like so many others, its a somewhat legible hybrid of cursive and print.

jenn f says
press me…i write in a sort of cursive/print hybrid :)
Andrea says
PRESS ME!
It’s a combo of cursive and print, upper and lower case(usually all in the same word). Most of the time I feel like 3rd graders have better handwriting than I do.

I write in all caps all the time. People say it’s neat – I just think it’s plain all caps writing =)

I’m a flighty writer when I print instead of type. Some letters, like “N”, “R” & “H” seem to always get a caps, while my “e” and “y” are almost always lower-cased (unless they are at the beginning of a sentence). Ironic; I’m an editor by trade.
Cindy says
PRESS ME! I switch it up everytime I write. From very loopy, feminine cursive, to all caps, or a cobination cursive/printing that I call creatively sloppy…
I am loving the Signature style set. With either pink or grey envelopes! So pretty!

What adorable stationery! You can never have too much of it :)
I have pretty neat handwriting, but my cursive stopped shortly after I stopped being required to use it in 4th grade :)
I’m a fan of the small caps-esque handwriting sometimes — it is unique but less intimidating than all caps.
Abby says

I actually never learned how to write cursive (crazy I know) so I always print!
Katie says
PRESS ME! I somehow adopted my handwriting quirks from my 11th grade teacher. My “y”s, “q”s and “g’s have a very distinct dip to them that only could be learned from a year of staring at a white board full of writing.

if i’m trying to impress my writing is neat and in cursive – if its just for me (shopping list or whatever) its virtually unreadable to anyone but me!

These are the cutest and i would love to attempt to write neatly on these :) My handwriting lacks cleanliness for sure! Id rather type and not punctuate!
I generally write in all lower case.
These may be just what the doctor ordered to make my handwriting bearable :)

I write in print all the time, I have virtually forgotten how to write in cursive. But I have a nice blocky print and I make my lowercase “a”s special like a computer font.

I either write in all cursive or little caps. My handwriting is extremely neat (years of carrying around a writing notebook courtesy of dear old Mom).
Lisa says
PRESS ME! I usually print things like grocery lists and to-do lists, but when I pen a note to a friend, I definitely do my best cursive.

Press me, those cards are the cutest! My handwriting style is not all that distinctive. I try and use cute cards to distract from the “normal” penmanship!
Erica says

My handwriting is definitely a mix of cursive and printing, and I think it can look very different day-to-day. I ‘draw’ my letters, smudging ink on my left hand, but I love the feel of a good pen to paper, like the Precise V7’s…
Katie says

My handwriting is a mix of capitals and lower-case, cursive and print…pretty eclectic!

My handwriting is mix of cursive and handwritten and very uniquely me – so I like to use it whenever I can. I handwrite notes and letters all the time becasue I still treasure the letters and cards from my late grandmother and my beloved godfather.

I have a nice cursive/print hybrid that does not look pretty. I’ve actually been confronted by teachers on more than one occasion that suggested that I have learned to write with the WRONG HAND. Real nice right?
I love the dictionary stationary, very cool!
