Since we know you guys love personalized stationery as much as we do (and we always like to support other husband and wife teams), we’re psyched to bring you this week’s giveaway from Wild Ink Press. This duo – plus their 2 year old son/sidekick- churns out beautiful letterpress stationery by hand (and foot). And they print all of their stuff on 100% recycled paper or cotton and reuse everything from scraps to clean-up rags, always keeping their process as eco-friendly as possible. But of course, it’s their stunning designs that are the real stars of their process.
And this week, TWO of you are going to win a custom set of letterpress stationery (up to a $150 value each!). Here are the five designs our winners will have the pleasure of choosing from, either for themselves (or maybe even as a Valentine’s Day gift?). First we have The Signature, which puts your name in a silver metallic script with a custom icon to add some whimsy. And you can pick from green, pink, khaki or gray envelopes to match. Man, I wish my signature came out this fancy looking every time I sign on the dotted line.
The Dictionary is a classic design with dark brown or black ink on ivory paper. And speaking of the ivories, the khaki envelope comes lined with vintage sheet music or an actual dictionary page (smoking jacket and pipe not included).
The Bandana Paisley is kinda dusty old west meets colorful sophistication. Pick from a magenta, turquoise, purple or red paisley to coordinate with a gray, khaki or purple envelope. A far cry from the days of the Pony Express.
The Nautical had us at “ahoy.” It comes on beachy pale blue paper with a ship ghosted in the background and a handsome navy envelope.
The Audrey is a combo of a sophisticated dotted pinstripe and your name printed in a playful circus font. The orange or magenta color options for both the type and envelope finish off the big top design.
Have you already picked out the one you love? Well here’s how you can vie for your chance to win (bonus: stay tuned for a discount on Thursday- everyone sort of wins in the end):
- PRIZE: A 30-piece set of custom letterpress stationery from Wild Ink Press (selected from the five designs shown here).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PRESS ME” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …tell us about your writing style. Do you write exclusively in cursive? Do you rock all caps all of the time? Do you dot your I’s with something special? Is your penmanship virtually unreadable? Or do you just avoid hand-writing at all costs?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 3rd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: You name it. They’ll ship it anywhere!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

It’s a cursive & print mixture for me. And the older I get the more my handwriting looks like my mom’s.

I will write with a pen if the format is smaller than 5 x 7.
Sarah says
Press Me!!!
I have an odd sort of mix between cursive and printing. Some words I will print, and then, in the middle of a sentence, I will bust out a cursive word or two. :)

PRESS ME! My handwriting is a all caps style, however the first letter is usually a bit taller than the rest.
Tovah says

I have a basic messy print that accomplishes most of my writing and occasionally I slip into Italic Cursive which is what I was taught in grade school instead of real cursive. Gosh I remember those horrible work books and hours of practice and in the end, I usually just stick to my messy printing:)
jill says
PRESS ME.
somehow anything i write on looks more drawn on.
Lindsay says

And I always write with printing that loops together like cursive when it’s conveniant. (prinsive?)
Emily A. Clark says
PRESS ME (please)!
All cursive, all the time. If I have time, it’s pretty. If I don’t, it’s not.
Amanda June says
Press me, oh please!
I have terrible handwriting, but love it none-the-less.

I always write in cursive, but if I’m rushed I tend to do a crazy half-cursive, half-print mix.
Renee M. says

Except for my dozen or so handwritten daily lists (lol), I type everything I can.
Bre B. says
PRESS ME!! I usually write in cursive mixed with print but my writing is huge so it takes me a lot of space when I hand write something.

I stopped using cursive the moment we were no longer required to use it in 7th grade. My signature is basically a sloppy printing so it looks semi-cursive. All caps too.

I enjoy writing, I play with handwriting and print daily. depends on my mood. I enjoy looking at other people’s writing and trying to duplicate it.
Jenny says
PRESS ME! I call it cursive, but others have called it unreadable!
LoriSF says

I used to write in all caps (due to my architecture background) but then switched to upper & lowercase printing. Recently, however, I re-visited cursive handwriting and I must say that it’s much easier on the hands/fingers. I can write a lot more without muscle cramping! Bonus that it’s actually more legible, too!
LizzieBeth says

My handwriting is a mix between print and cursive. I’m very anal about keeping my handwriting neat, and I hate to write the letter Z!

Alison says
PRESS ME! my handwriting is no good, so some beautiful stationary would maybe distract people from that?
Emily says

I go with some amalgamation of print and cursive, but lately I’ve been trying to type most things.
Nichole says
Press Me! I love personalized stationery:)
Karli says
Oh Press Me these are beautiful!
Now I doubt that these are able to be sent to international readers like myself but just in case they are….My writing is this bizarre amalgamation of my parents’ writing styles. Big and round and a little messy like mum’s with dad’s capital letters interspersed throughout the mix. It is good to know where I come from. The Audrey and Signature are making my heart sing!

I’m an all caps kinda girl.
Sarah F says

I think mine depends on what mood I’m in… sometimes very neat and calm appearing… other times quite messy :)
Kris says

Wow those letter press goodies are GORgeous! My writing is fairly large with fat, juicy letters, sometimes all caps and I dot my i’s with a wee little circle, which I guess came from the I in my signature. I don’t do cursive, never really learnt it. My mum prints in all caps 90% of the time so I think I got that part from her! Oh and I never put the hat and shoes on my capital I’s!!!
{Gypsy Soul} says

I write in lower-case with tall curvy letters =)
Laura says

Like a lot of the others, I usually write in a print cursive hybrid. On this lovely stationery, though, I’d stick with cursive!
Angela Hanson says
PRESS ME
I use a mix of cursive and print. It usually depends on what I’m writing, anything from a letter to a grocery list!
Kelly says
PRESS ME! My handwriting looks like a child’s, so some sophisticated stationary would really help me out!
Krista says
PRESS ME…please! My writing style is a cross between cursive & print. My mom is a teacher and she hates it as she teaches (yes still) perfect penmanship, but I love my artistic style.
jennifer says
PRESS ME!
Oh, I have terrible penmanship in that you can’t read it, but it looks great–like a period piece or “jane austen” or “jefferson” fonts on dafont.com. And I can rock the caps because then, people can read it. I’ve actually received more compliments on my caps than on my penmanship…
Oh please pick me for stationary! I’ve been making my own and someone else’s would be so much better!
Michelle says
Press Me!
I do a hybrid cursive while rocking the all-caps. It isn’t pretty and I don’t want my son to learn it, but it gets the job done.

I have really good handwriting — it sounds cheesy, but it’s something I’ve prided myself on for a long time. AND I like to write letters… added bonus. ;)

Love these — soo beautiful
Sara says

These are super cute! I’m obsessed with stationary and collect all kinds. I think handwritten notes are much more classy and personable than an e-mail will ever be. My handwriting is your typical teacher’s handwriting with perfect formation. (Hate to say perfect…but hey it’s my job! Required!) That last one is darling!
