Since we know you guys love personalized stationery as much as we do (and we always like to support other husband and wife teams), we’re psyched to bring you this week’s giveaway from Wild Ink Press. This duo – plus their 2 year old son/sidekick- churns out beautiful letterpress stationery by hand (and foot). And they print all of their stuff on 100% recycled paper or cotton and reuse everything from scraps to clean-up rags, always keeping their process as eco-friendly as possible. But of course, it’s their stunning designs that are the real stars of their process.
And this week, TWO of you are going to win a custom set of letterpress stationery (up to a $150 value each!). Here are the five designs our winners will have the pleasure of choosing from, either for themselves (or maybe even as a Valentine’s Day gift?). First we have The Signature, which puts your name in a silver metallic script with a custom icon to add some whimsy. And you can pick from green, pink, khaki or gray envelopes to match. Man, I wish my signature came out this fancy looking every time I sign on the dotted line.
The Dictionary is a classic design with dark brown or black ink on ivory paper. And speaking of the ivories, the khaki envelope comes lined with vintage sheet music or an actual dictionary page (smoking jacket and pipe not included).
The Bandana Paisley is kinda dusty old west meets colorful sophistication. Pick from a magenta, turquoise, purple or red paisley to coordinate with a gray, khaki or purple envelope. A far cry from the days of the Pony Express.
The Nautical had us at “ahoy.” It comes on beachy pale blue paper with a ship ghosted in the background and a handsome navy envelope.
The Audrey is a combo of a sophisticated dotted pinstripe and your name printed in a playful circus font. The orange or magenta color options for both the type and envelope finish off the big top design.
Have you already picked out the one you love? Well here’s how you can vie for your chance to win (bonus: stay tuned for a discount on Thursday- everyone sort of wins in the end):
- PRIZE: A 30-piece set of custom letterpress stationery from Wild Ink Press (selected from the five designs shown here).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PRESS ME” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …tell us about your writing style. Do you write exclusively in cursive? Do you rock all caps all of the time? Do you dot your I’s with something special? Is your penmanship virtually unreadable? Or do you just avoid hand-writing at all costs?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 3rd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: You name it. They’ll ship it anywhere!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

As an etiquette consultant, I use lots of personalized stationery and love to find some as unique and well-made as this. It not only reflects well on me, it shows recipients that stationery doesn’t have to be boring.
Thanks for sharing!

I used to practice my handwriting every summer before the new school year started to decide how I wanted to change my handwriting to make it cooler. After all that practice, I still have terrible handwriting!

Kristen says
PRESS ME!! I print almost all the time. It just feels more natural to me. I don’t do anything fancy and I think it’s easy to read. Over the years I’ve had a few people tell me that it looks like kindergarten teacher writing.
Whitney says
PRESS ME!!
Still trying to work on getting cursive down…but I am convinced it will never be pretty!
Season says

I normally write in a half print/half cursive kind of writing. Weird, I know.
Marta says
PRESS ME!
I write in cursive most of the time but sometimes, when I think too fast, I write something unclassifiable… Not cursive, not caps, not writing at all!
Louise says

I have to try so hard these days to write neatly, typing has ruined my handwriting :)

I use mostly print, but for some reason, I run my letters together kind of like cursive. I use print because my cursive is about as good as a 2nd grader’s. Yikes!
Andrea says
PRESS ME!
My penmanship is nothing special, but completely legible, and I use print rather than cursive almost exclusively. I love to send (and receive) handwritten notes and am always looking for new and different stationary.
Rackers says

I love writing things out by hand – I even wrote out our 60 wedding invites (and managed to cure hand disfigurement before the big day) – I think I must have been a Medieval scribe or something in a past life, I’m sure this is not normal behaviour…
Kathy B says

My handwriting all depends on the day, the mood, and how much of a hurry I’m in. :)
Christina says

I love to write and even have a big writer’s bump on my finger…I mix it up with print and cursive.
Johanna says
100% cursive here! People usually say how beautiful it is, but up close it’s quite difficult to read.
PRESS ME, please!
Susan says

I switch from all caps to printing to cursive depending on the situation and available space. When I manage to pay attention and use only one type in a given note my penmanship can be quite nice, otherwise it looks like I’m losing my mind.

Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve LOVED my grandmother and mothers handwriting…As I’ve gotten older I’ve taken on more of their style and get many compliments on it!
I was stoked when I got married…so I could make a huge, pretty cursive T :-)

I love stationary, what a great giveaway!

I definitely print the majority of the time. I’m a landscape designer, so it just comes naturally to print like I would label a drawing. If I’m in a hurry, or just jotting a list down, my printed letters seem to join up like a print-cursive combo :).

I just took a calligraphy class, which was fun, but had no effect whatsoever on my regular writing. It’s still sloppy!

I write in an odd mix of print and cursive. I guess it’s whatever helps me write faster!
karlee says

My handwriting is pretty neat. I must have gotten confused in grade school because it is a mix of cursive and non-cursive…but I really admire people who can write in all caps and make it look good!
Jessica says

I typically write in print, but I think cursive is much prettier but it requires more time, which I usually don’t have. This stationary is truly unique, thanks for sharing it.

I am a 4th grade English teacher and this is the grade they learn cursive. My handwriting shifts from print at the beginning of the year(of course with the i’s dotted with hearts because I may be a teacher, but I’m young at heart…and age too…24! haha…) to cursive at the end of the year.
Jen Bishop says

Beautiful stationarty! I usually print because my cursive is not very pretty!
Sharon says

People comment that they like my penmanship but can’t read it. When it needs to be read I do a combination of printing and cursive…or type.
Ann K. says
Press me! My handwriting has deteriorated into a mess of printed and cursive lettering. On envelopes I always seem to print in caps. Not sure why. I’ve become too impatient to write anything long by hand…but short thank yous, no problem!

I attempt to write in cursive most of the time, but a good majority it just looks like the handwriting of a serial killer.
Love the stationery!
