Since we know you guys love personalized stationery as much as we do (and we always like to support other husband and wife teams), we’re psyched to bring you this week’s giveaway from Wild Ink Press. This duo – plus their 2 year old son/sidekick- churns out beautiful letterpress stationery by hand (and foot). And they print all of their stuff on 100% recycled paper or cotton and reuse everything from scraps to clean-up rags, always keeping their process as eco-friendly as possible. But of course, it’s their stunning designs that are the real stars of their process.
And this week, TWO of you are going to win a custom set of letterpress stationery (up to a $150 value each!). Here are the five designs our winners will have the pleasure of choosing from, either for themselves (or maybe even as a Valentine’s Day gift?). First we have The Signature, which puts your name in a silver metallic script with a custom icon to add some whimsy. And you can pick from green, pink, khaki or gray envelopes to match. Man, I wish my signature came out this fancy looking every time I sign on the dotted line.
The Dictionary is a classic design with dark brown or black ink on ivory paper. And speaking of the ivories, the khaki envelope comes lined with vintage sheet music or an actual dictionary page (smoking jacket and pipe not included).
The Bandana Paisley is kinda dusty old west meets colorful sophistication. Pick from a magenta, turquoise, purple or red paisley to coordinate with a gray, khaki or purple envelope. A far cry from the days of the Pony Express.
The Nautical had us at “ahoy.” It comes on beachy pale blue paper with a ship ghosted in the background and a handsome navy envelope.
The Audrey is a combo of a sophisticated dotted pinstripe and your name printed in a playful circus font. The orange or magenta color options for both the type and envelope finish off the big top design.
Have you already picked out the one you love? Well here’s how you can vie for your chance to win (bonus: stay tuned for a discount on Thursday- everyone sort of wins in the end):

I love hand written notes! I try to keep my penmanship in all cursive, but sometimes it just happens that those pesky print letters come in. I love when people say “You have the nicest handwriting!”

I have handwriting that, on first glance, looks super duper neat, but then you actually try to read it and realize it’s completely illegible.

My handwriting is a mish-mash {and my teachers always scolded me throughout school}… I write with a mix of cursive and printing, lots of gaps and illegible letters!

Oh wow, I love the Signature set. So fancy.
My handwriting in my own hybrid blend of printing and cursive. Some letters flow into each other, while others are distinctly separate.

I had a spanish teacher in highschool that made us keep a daily journal, in spanish, written in cursive. Ever since then, I only write in cursive.

Wow 2200 entries, well here is another.
“PRESS ME”
I always write in cursive. I have a problem not writing in cursive. When I am filling out a form that needs to be hand printed, I am continually reminding myself to not connect all the letters. Cursive is just so much faster!
Tshepo says
Press me and I will tell you the story of how my mother conducted 2 hour penmanship lessons everyday after school up until junior high!I am also inspired by my father who spends two hours a day taking care of correspondence. Pick me and I can put my good penmanship to use and begin the journey of “corresponding” the old school way.

PRESS ME! My writing style varies on my mood..curvise for fun and flirting, all caps when I need to relieve some stress, typing when I’m in a hurry, and printed neatly when I have the time :)

My friends always know who has sent them mail or passed along a card when it comes from me since I have very unique handwriting. It’s a combo of lowercase and uppercase letters…very much my own unique style!
Kate says
Press Me! I write in cursive all the time, but i refuse to do proper cursive lower case b’s….i never lived how they don’t really look like b’s to me. oh well. i just do a hybrid non-cursive b.
Anastacia says
Press Me! When in grade school, I would be corrected for not bringing my letters above the line (remember old lined penmanship paper). I tend to write very small…I have found that when I look at old doodle pads and work tablets of my dad’s he also writes teeny, tiny letters. Perhaps not a passed gene, but a small trait we share!
Janis says
Press Me! I’m actually a calligrapher but normally I write in print. If I haven’t been practicing my cursive, it gets a little sloppy!

Press me! My handwriting is sort of half-cursive and loopy. It looks pretty on cards and letters, though!

I switch back and forth depending on what I’m writing. If it’s a Thank You card or a personal letter/note it’s cursive. When I’m writing a grocery list or something like that it’s print. My handwriting is fairly large too.

My writing style is print. When I started addressing my grad party invites, I started with cursive, but looked AWFUL. I think my printing is much more sweet and easier to read.

Those notecards are gorgeous! I love to write and sometimes even just practice writing for fun. Growing up, my handwriting always had to be perfect. I would rewrite notes from class or other things if they were sloppy. My friends can always tell my handwriting and call it Rebecca font.
Alyssa Allen says
PRESS ME! My printing is much better than my cursive — but it takes so long to print!

The Audrey is so adorable, but I love all of them!
My handwriting is usually a mix of cursive and print (mostly print). It just depends on what mood I am in. I have always been sort of a handwriting nerd…practicing different fonts/styles, but now I have a business where it comes in pretty handy. : )

These are just gorgeous. I love “The Signature” – what a lovely green.
I think I’m split 50/50 between printing and cursive, but printing very neatly makes me happy :)
Marie says
Press Me please!
I unconsciously switch it up from time to time, but generally I write in cursive. And I much prefer writing with an actual pen to typing in any sort of way. There is something so soothing about putting ink to paper!
Ashley says

I write in all print, all the time. I think handwritten notes and cards are absolutely the greatest, so I’d put this to great use!
DKA says
PRESS ME! Wow, the very lovely ‘Siganture’ would make a beautiful gift for my sister.
My handwriting is all over the place. It’s neat, but a combo of cursive and printing. Must be the gemini in me!
Erica says

Wow, such beautiful stationery! For me it would be a toss up between Signature and Nautical.
I’d say my handwriting is my own blend of printing and cursive together. My handwriting is neat for the most part but my husband’s is that unreadable, chicken-scratch type, which drives me crazy! I never understand how he teaches kindergarten with writing like that!

I love hand-written letters (and try to save the ones I receive). My handwriting gets messier as I get older and full of bad spelling, but I like to think it’s still charming.

Handwritten notes are so romantic and personal, I love them. I have bi-polar handwriting, sometimes it’s cursive and pretty and other times it’s printed and serious.

I’m a printer at heart but speaking of that reminds me that people who do not hold their writing instrument correctly is enough to make my mother howl outloud – a teacher for 30 years, we all have it engrained the importance of correctly holding your pen/pencil!
Ris says
PRESS ME! I write in very tall, skinny letters, which makes reading my handwriting kind of hard! Luckily I usually stick to the computer.
Carolyne O says

I write in print…start in all caps which looks cool and neat and then before I know it I’m writing like I did in elementary school. Guess I just don’t write by hand enough to have a real style!
