Since we know you guys love personalized stationery as much as we do (and we always like to support other husband and wife teams), we’re psyched to bring you this week’s giveaway from Wild Ink Press. This duo – plus their 2 year old son/sidekick- churns out beautiful letterpress stationery by hand (and foot). And they print all of their stuff on 100% recycled paper or cotton and reuse everything from scraps to clean-up rags, always keeping their process as eco-friendly as possible. But of course, it’s their stunning designs that are the real stars of their process.
And this week, TWO of you are going to win a custom set of letterpress stationery (up to a $150 value each!). Here are the five designs our winners will have the pleasure of choosing from, either for themselves (or maybe even as a Valentine’s Day gift?). First we have The Signature, which puts your name in a silver metallic script with a custom icon to add some whimsy. And you can pick from green, pink, khaki or gray envelopes to match. Man, I wish my signature came out this fancy looking every time I sign on the dotted line.
The Dictionary is a classic design with dark brown or black ink on ivory paper. And speaking of the ivories, the khaki envelope comes lined with vintage sheet music or an actual dictionary page (smoking jacket and pipe not included).
The Bandana Paisley is kinda dusty old west meets colorful sophistication. Pick from a magenta, turquoise, purple or red paisley to coordinate with a gray, khaki or purple envelope. A far cry from the days of the Pony Express.
The Nautical had us at “ahoy.” It comes on beachy pale blue paper with a ship ghosted in the background and a handsome navy envelope.
The Audrey is a combo of a sophisticated dotted pinstripe and your name printed in a playful circus font. The orange or magenta color options for both the type and envelope finish off the big top design.
Have you already picked out the one you love? Well here’s how you can vie for your chance to win (bonus: stay tuned for a discount on Thursday- everyone sort of wins in the end):
- PRIZE: A 30-piece set of custom letterpress stationery from Wild Ink Press (selected from the five designs shown here).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “PRESS ME” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: …tell us about your writing style. Do you write exclusively in cursive? Do you rock all caps all of the time? Do you dot your I’s with something special? Is your penmanship virtually unreadable? Or do you just avoid hand-writing at all costs?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 3rd at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: You name it. They’ll ship it anywhere!
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

I LOVE THESE…if I don’t win I think I know where a portion of my next pay check is going…
fyi- My handwriting is sort of a script-ish print. I don’t know how to describe it, but I got a calligraphy kit when I was young and I think the hours I spent practicing shaped my handwriting somewhat.

Gina Cadrecha-Boyan says
PRESS ME! My handwriting is sort of cursive meets print, meets mood (whimsy if I’m feeling it, or sometimes even agression–but not THAT often :)Oh, and I also practice replicating my hubbys signature when we go out to eat, just to scare the pants off of him!
annelies says

I actually have great handwriting, but I prefer to do a mix of print & cursive. Kinda a swirly-print. My 6-year old daughter is trying to emulate my style, which doesn’t always go so well with her teachers!
LOVE these stationery sets. I am a paper fanatic and an artist – so these are RIGHT up my alley!
lindsey says
PRESS ME! Im the daugther of a nurse and scientist. As a result sometimes Im very neat with some print other times scrawling illegiable cursive!

I’ve always had boyish handwriting, but I like it. I promptly forgot cursive after it was taught in 2nd grade. I think it comes from the years of note-taking in high school and college. You have to write small to write fast! Now I type absolutely everything unless I’m studying text or need a personal touch.
I hope I win that incredible looking stationary! Thanks for the chance!

Ps. I REALLY NEED THESE!!

Kim says
Press me! I write in both cursive and print…depending on how fast I’m writing, if it’s a list, a card, letter etc.
I love writing notes and letters to people…I feel like this is a lost art that no one does anymore. People get more texts and emails now! I like to keep it old school and send cards and letters!! :)

Shelly says
PRESS ME !!! I love a handwritten letter. I have several penpals, and don’t have a blog…I journal in an handmade book. My writing style depends on my mood. Cursive (very messy cursive) in my journal. Print in my letters to friends and family. Sometimes caps, sometimes not..
Bethany says

Rhiannon says

Oh, please press me! I am a stationary addict. My penmanship varies with my mood. I print. My handwriting has suffered from coming second to daily computer usage. On a good day, it’s clear, fat and legible. When stressed, it’s thinandallruntogetherlikethis. But I love sending hand-written notes. I know people enjoy receiving real mail that isn’t a bill.
Oh, PLEASE PRESS ME!!!

Oh crap, I’m a stationery addict. I can rarely stand still. I hope I’m not DQ’d, but I’m a copy editor and I had to correct myself. LOL!

My handwriting varies depending on my mood. Most of the time, I write in cursive.
Molly says
PRESS ME!!
I am absolutely obsessed with the first design. My handwriting changes pretty much all the time – it varies depending on what I’m doing. When I’m at work (I’m a nurse) it automatically (or should I say subconsciously) becomes very neat and small for charting. When I’m taking notes in class it’s a hybrid for speed. When I’m writing letters it’s a lovely cursive. I wonder what a handwriting specialist would say!
Eileen says

My handwriting is a combination of printing and cursive — and is incredibly sloppy UNLESS I write with my head down on the desk, resting on my left hand and looking at the page I’m writing on at an angle. It is the oddest thing, but it’s tried and true. I tend to refrain from doing this in public, however, even though in public is where I usually NEED the best handwriting!
Natalie says
“Press Me” Cursive all the way, it is way quicker, and prettier!
Kat Mitchel says

I love these different styles! So cute!
My handwriting is always print since I spend all day writing in a lab notebook for my job. It’s got to legible for the scientists that will follow so that’s my primary concern.

PRESS ME!!! Any piece paper I’ve ever written on looks like it sunk with the Titanic and was recently unearthed from the bottom of the sea: In other words, totally unreadable. I try to type everything, if possible, and the only thing I use a pen for is my sloppy signature!
Suze says

I write in half cursive and half type. Most other people can’t read it, which is fine with me! :)
Christin Poterek says
Oh my, this is gorgeous letter press! I hardly ever write by hand, except for when writing notes to loved ones. It’s a new year’s resolution of mine to do less emailing and texting and more phone-calling and writing of notes.
