***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***
This giveaway hit our 10,000 entry cap just a few hours before usual closing time, so random.org had its work cut out for it picking a winner. They selected… Kelsey (who thinks “an Eames chair is the foundation to a good collection”). Congrats on your new foundation piece!

What an amazing giveaway! Your readers are so lucky.
I love modern and contemporary designers and would love to own a Eames chair. I’ve also always wanted to own a piece or two by Jens Risom, a Danish American designer. He’s work is clean and simple, without being cold. Good design is affordable in the sense that you keep it forever, and can update it, instead of replacing it. Over the years I’ve slowly bought items by designers I love, and I’ve never been disappointed by the investment I made.
Good luck everyone!

When I stepped into my house for the first time and saw that the previous (then current) owners had an old Eames leather lounge chair, I instantly felt at home, and knew they had taken good care of the place. Sadly, the chair did not come with the house. But it surely needs a new Eames chair!
