Good news – the prize pot is now up to over $500! Even better news (at least for one lucky person) random.org has selected our winner as… Karina (who notes that both teaching and learning to share is hard, just ask her kiddos). Congrats Karina!
As we mentioned last week along with our curator collection, Joss & Main offers small referral fees in the form of store credit to anyone who refers someone who makes a purchase, but we wanted to pay those forward. So instead of accepting the referral fees, we saved all of those credits up in a separate “gift account” so we could dish ‘em out in a big fat giveaway for one lucky reader this week. Oh and Joss & Main kindly donated $100 to get things rolling (and to ensure that we didn’t have nada to give away if no one signed up, haha). But guess what? It earned over $300 worth of referral credits! So if you add in the $100 from Joss & Main, the prize pot is up to over $400 for one lucky winner to spend on whatever they’d like!
- PRIZE: Ownership of the special Joss & Main referral account that we’ve set up, which has an account credit of $430!
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SHARE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … a funny / touching / harrowing sharing story. Maybe about the time you had to share a hotel room with your boss on a business trip? Or the challenges of teaching your kids to share? Or a memory of when you and your siblings shared a bathroom / car / wardrobe growing up?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 4th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The lower 48 United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Joss & Main.

My sister’s idea of sharing was to hide my favorite clothes when I packed up to return to college so she could wear them in my absence. But half of the time she would forget where she hid them!

I moved in with my boyfriend (now husband) and for about 7 months we shared the house with 5 other boys. It was, um, interesting… :)

SHARE ME!!!! My husband and I have remodeled two houses in Colorado. Oh, the stories…. Probably our favorite thing to talk about is all the stuff we found while doing the remodel. In our first house, we had to replace the stuff on the walls with drywall (it was this pressed paper board, and no insulation except 80 year old newspapers). In the spaces of the walls, we found lead toy army men, bottles with cool snake oil labels, marbles, and once, a really great old hammer. How do you leave a hammer in the wall?

SHARE ME When I was little my parents would take a home video of the house (mainly for insurance purposes because we lived in a hurricane prone area). Me and my sister would be the tour guide – mostly my sister. She loves to talk. She finally stopped, and went off-screen so I stepped up and started to take over and show off for the camera. My sis had none of that. She walks up and says “Becky, its not your turn its MY turn” and proceeds to SHOVE me out of the way. Then continues with the tour. A few years ago we were re-watching family videos and this one had us on the floor laughing.

I have a 2 year old that loves to do share share with her food. I definitely get my share of soggy prelicked chips. But at least she’s learning to share!

My girls share a room, and I just love it. The little one can’t fall asleep without the bigger one, and I hope they share until they are teenagers. Or longer!

Share me! I shared a bedroom with my sister until I was 18 when she moved away to college. We than shared an apartment until we were 25 which is when she moved to Richmond. 10 years later she shared her home with me, my husband and our two boys when we moved back from Japan! Last night I shared your blog with her for inspiration in her new home!!!

I shared a room with one of my three older brothers for a spell when I was little, and sometimes he would hide under my bed and wait a few minutes after the light was out to start scratching the underside of my mattress! Scared me so much, they were always torturing me haha.

I’m coming up on the third anniversary of sharing my home with my cat, Gobo. Though, sometimes it feels like he’s the one reluctantly sharing the home with me. Last night he decided to share about 1/4 of the king size bed with me while he spread across the rest, making it impossible for me to roll over. :) But I still love him.
