Fab Freebie: Sherry’s Birthday Wish

You guys shut this puppy down with 10,000 entries in less than a day. Wow! So we’ve already selected our random winner. She is… Rhonda (who thinks she’s gonna ask for a juicer – to go along with her Christmas blender). Congrats!

Tomorrow is Sherry’s 31st birthday. So a few weeks ago I asked her if she wanted to do anything special giveaway-wise to celebrate. She looked dreamily towards the sky, a smile spread across her face, and she said “I want to do a Jonathan Adler giveaway and I want a picture of him holding ceramic animals and grinning like a fool. Because we are kindred spirits. That would pretty much make my year.”

A week later this photo appeared in my inbox:

The girl wanted a Jonathan Adler giveaway (you can read more about her love of the guy here) and the girl got it. The wonderfully cheerful people of Jonathan Adler were completely down with the idea (and the ceramic-animal-centric photo, apparently) so they’ve offered up a whopping $500 for one lucky winner to spend on whatever they’d like – animal or otherwise. Beyond obsessing over his white ceramic creatures, Sherry shares his love of poppy patterns, colorful accents, and chic accessories that don’t take themselves too seriously. So, um, happy birthday to one of you!

    BIRTHDAY ME! I don’t know about my next birthday (it’s almost a year away), but my husband turns 31 in a few weeks, and we will close on our first house two days before! So, I will hope birthday celebrations and moving go smoothly!

    My birthday is next month, and I just told my hubby I would like “me” gift cards so I can pick myself up some new clothes and books, BUT I recently went to my first piano bar, and I am totally having my 30th there in a couple years!

    Birthday Me… My birthday is on March 30th and I am looking forward to spending it with my family. My parents and siblings( with their families) are all coming from out of town for the occasion. Should be a good weekend of family time and Easter festivities.

    BIRTHDAY ME!

    This year I’m just hoping for a birthday free of hospitals, surgeries and funerals! Three years ago my husband’s aunt and grandmother died that week. Two years ago my newborn was in the pediatric intensive care unit, and one year ago my 3-year-old was having major spinal surgery the next day. This year I just want to go out and have a nice dinner!

    Birthday Me!! I turn 30 early next year, and I have told my husband repeatedly not to throw me a surprise party. I really hope he listens. A family dinner and maybe a night out with the girls would be perfect for me ;)

    Birthday Me! – I celebrated my 31st bday on Feb. 13th. My husband asked me what I wanted, and I had two requets: One: The YoungHouseLove book and a trip to meet y’all in Atlanta, and Two: A few session with a personal trainer. The kid came through on both. Although, he makes me promise that I won’t ever use the personal trainer gift against him, since I requested it.

    My next birthday will be the first one in several years where I won’t be either pregnant or nursing, so I would love to have a night away with the husband! I don’t care where, just dinner, drinks, and lots of sleep would be a dream to me!!!

    BIRTHDAY ME

    On my next birthday I hope to make my annual trip to NYC to see the Christmas decorations with my friends and family. I’ve been going on my birthday (Dec 17th) for about the last 6 years. Its one of my favorite traditions! Oh! And a corona-rita would be a nice addition :)
