One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’m talented! I can carry a decent tune. And I’m not too shabby in the kitchen either. I wish I had more artistic talents though! Any time someone compliments my decorating, I give you guys all the credit :)

    I’m talented…I can make noises that sound like a crying baby. I discovered this talent after seeing someone do it on Oprah more than 15 years ago!

    I’M TALENTED! I can get my Doberman/Hound mix to how–and I mean REALLY howl–just by using my voice a certain way :)Some find it annoying, I find it adorable!

    I’m talented because I’m have an almost eerie sort of focus. Whatever I’m doing, I will finish even if it kills me. It’s that special kind of crazy that has me up at 5 am to paint a fence or dig out a garden bed.

    I can sing – my boyfriend was actually a little disappointed when he found because he said I made him sound bad. I still love it when he sings to me though! ;)

    Well, my 18 month-old still refuses to eat more than a handful of grapes and cheerios a day, so I’d say my current talent is non-stop breastfeeding (but there will be no Time Magazine covers in my future).
