One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’M TALENTED!!

    I’m pretty good at making different and sometimes adventerous meals for our family…our one year old included! I’m pretty proud to say that the kid’s never laid a finger on a jar of baby food so far! Sometimes our meal adventures lead us to new and interesting flavors, sometimes not! Oh well, at least we shake it up a bit! :)

    i can’t sing or dance, but i can whip up a batch of fresh homemade cookies faster than you can run to the store and buy the premade ones! baking is the one thing i’m great at!

    I’m talented! I knit (and now crochet a bit) up a storm! I love doing it, and the wowed looks I get when I present adorable baby sweaters etc. as gifts are just bonus! (Also, I can wiggle my ears. I know. Double threat.)

    I’M TALENTED

    I can whistle tunes very clearly with a really good range. It comes in handy for that question in Cranium to ‘whistle or hum this tune.’ My team can always guess it quickly!

    I’M TALENTED!!

    I have the ability to encourage my wonderful husband to get things done in as little as two steps toward the television (Downton Abbey is his “I’ve suddenly thought of nine chores I have to do!” trigger). If that’s not good enough, I can also re-write any song to be about my dog/husband on command.

      Mary, this simply cannot be true. I’m positive that there is something unique in you that you are good at, that not everyone else is. Positive. I’ll bet if you thought more about it maybe you could find that thing-
