One of the most exciting parts of doing a project is getting to share the sweat-inducing results when it’s done. And that’s the idea behind HouseTalent, a free site where you can easily upload before pics, progress shots, and after photos of the DIYs that are going on in your digs. The friendly interface makes browsing other peoples’ accomplishments just as easy as uploading your own inspiration – from small furniture builds to major room overhauls. And to help you get some of your projects ready to share, HouseTalent is giving away a $250 gift card to World Market this week. Speaking of the world, this giveaway is available internationally – so if World Market doesn’t ship to you, you can select a local alternative for your gift card.

    I’m talented! I can sew pretty much anything. I can look at a top and figure out the pattern for it, then sew it up and it looks almost exactly the same. It’s all in my design school training, but I’m claiming it as talent :)

    I am a master gift/person matcher-finder! (It all comes from another talent at shopping and list/reminder checking). I am known for the coolest gifts, or more originals, thoughtful, funky, etc depending on the situation and the recipient.

    “I’M TALENTED”

    No really, I am! I’m always impressing my friends with how ‘handy’ I am. I have a way of just figuring things out. The sink doesn’t work? How complicated can it be? I’ll fix it. Build a playhouse? It’s just high school geometry. Got it done. The list goes on and on. I’m not in to one particular thing, I just learn things as I go depending on what needs to be done. Kinda like you guys! Jill of all trades!

    I’M TALENTED because I can karaoke sing Salt n Pepa’s “Push It” like a boss! I even incorporate some of the dance moves from that Something Borrowed scene with Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson. My son (also turning 3 this year!) is my biggest fan.

    I’m a cat whisperer. I can trim the claws of the most cantankerous cat with no problem. I have no idea why I have this talent, but it comes in handy.

    IM TALENTED…..with directions. As in where I am when we are in a new place and can figure out how to get places with one look of the map. I can always get us out of a pickle that our gps gets us in to ;)

    Special talent? I can make up songs on the spot if you give me another song’s tune and a subject matter. (Oh and this giveaway closes on my birthday… I hope that makes me more lucky for the random drawing!)

    I’M TALENTED!

    I love working with color, if it be paper crafting, make up or jewelry. I enjoy finding things that coordinate, searching thrift shops and everywhere for just the right thing.

    I’M TALENTED! I can knit and crochet pretty well! I can also identify care makes and models pretty easily (even in the dark!) but that’s not as useful :)
