In honor of Father’s Day (yes, I realize it was yesterday, but why not keep the celebration alive?) we’re giving away – you guessed it – TOOLS. But these particular tools are Ryobi TEK4 tools, a series of ten cordless gadgets that look pretty darn sleek, are crazy durable, and run on a long-lasting 4V rechargeable battery. And come to think of it, ladies would look just as good slinging these guys (so they’re not just for dads). My Dad passed last year but my hubby will be a new Dad in July so yesterday was bittersweet and we celebrated it by treating like any other Sunday.

We celebrated by having lunch at my in laws house, and took my parents out for Lobster during the week! I also sent my eldes sister a Happy Father’s day card since she helped raise us when my dad was away on deployment Love her!

TEK ME! We had the funniest Father’s day experience. As we were driving home from dinner, we saw a huge hot air balloon that was shaped like a beer bottle that couldn’t quite get off the ground. We all pulled over and piled out of the car and took funny pictures pretending we were grabbing the bottle, holding it up like the leaning tower of Pisa, drinking from it, and yes, even balancing it on my pregnant belly! I highly doubt that we will be able to make this an annual event, but we sure have some funny memories!
