***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down to the bottom to see who won!***

We’re always on the lookout for new art these days (lots of empty walls!) so we’re excited to bring you this giveaway from Barcelona-based illustrator Judy Kaufmann. Her bold prints – sometimes colorful, sometimes stark – have a charming combo of simplicity and intricacy. Here are a few of our favs below, but you can of course browse more in her Etsy shop.

  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two

I had never been to Europe but on Sunday, September 13, 2009, I decided it was time. I bought a plane ticket to fly into Paris on Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Yes, that was not even 3 whole days from purchase to flying. The next day I went to work, fearing for my job but they thougt it was the great! Scariest, boldest thing I’ve ever done. Had an AMAZING time! Highly recomend it to anyone :)

I’m BOLD! I DID skydive, for my 18th birthday. I quit a crappy job, only to be hired by his competitor across the way (for more money and less hours!). I had blue hair for a good year. I started a couch reupholstery project 3 days before my inlaws came to spend the weekend (and finished!). I moved 3000mi across the country at 17. I discuss Big Love in my office, despite 90% of other employees being of the Morman faith. I haven’t registered my car in California for 4yrs. I spray paint first, ask questions later. I’m bold!

Probably the most bold thing I’ve done is quit my job, sell/pack up my life and move to Greece to end a long distance relationship… and begin a not so distant relationship …with a guy I met in Scotland while traveling! (That might have been fairly bold as well. :p) Now we are married 5 years and proud new parents to a 9 week old!

    Best move ever!

    “I’M BOLD!”

Something bold I did recently was to tell the truth. I had been looking for a full-time job for months (and was currently working four part-time jobs) when a local company contacted me because they were looking for a creative director. When the VP of the company sent me the job description, I admitted to her that as much as I’d love to work for them, my qualifications didn’t meet what they were looking for. She loved my honesty and the rest is history — I’m now happily employed with the company and my three-month mark is tomorrow!
