*** This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
We’ve got two names to announce as the random winners this week and they are… Eileen Marie (who lives on the edge by teaching on the “mean streets of Chicago”) and Kristin M (who is the mom to a “crazy 2 year old” – which is a life on the edge that we can relate to). Congrats ladies! And for everyone else, Cutting Edge Stencils added a 20% discount code – YHL20 – that’s good through Sunday. Sweet!
Who wants to jump on the wall stencil bandwagon with us (remember when Sherry spent 14 hours stenciling our office last October? Well how does a $50 nudge sound? Because the folks at Cutting Edge Stencils are gonna give two of you a gift card that’ll cover just about any stencil in their catalog – from florals and geometrics to damasks and graphic shapes. They’ve even got a new collection of stencils created by Design Star winner Kim Myles (we especially love her gingko leaf design on the right). And is the one on the top left giving anyone else Jeff Lewis vibes?
- PRIZE: $50 to Cutting Edge Stencils
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “EDGE ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how you live life on the edge. I ask this somewhat sarcastically since life on the edge for us usually includes eating a second dessert or negotiating a good yard sale deal. But if you’ve really done (or regularly do) something thrilling or outrageous, we’d love to hear about it.
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, June 6th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: 20% off with code YHL20 through 6/17
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Cutting Edge Stencils.

EDGE ME!
By day i’m pretty boring but occasionally i shuck my mommy persona and rock out with my band. :) We’ve even played in Europe and hit the alternative charts there!
Sara says
EDGE ME! I think I live pretty far off the edge but sometimes enjoy eating dessert before dinner :)
Sarah says
Edge Me!
I run from the edge. Which is kind of funny because I used to be such a daredevil as a child. I think the older I got, the more I realized how much a broken bone could hurt. Now the craziest I get is eating four pieces of pizza without taking my Prilosec!
Pamela Heller says
EDGE ME! Most edgiest activity lately was buying and building a playscape for the kids. We are most DIYers, but we also both work fulltime, have two very energetic kids and an equally energetic dog, so it was hard to find the time to devote to the playscape, but it’s finally done!! Woohoo.

Edge me! The nearest I’ve come to an edge recently was at the Grand Canyon, and my legs were seriously shaking. The edge makes me very uncomfortable.

I’m pretty much a chicken though I travel for work & have been on some small planes – the smallest is a 9 seater over the Caribbean.
Cassie says
Edge Me! Lately it’s risky to stay up past 9pm. Just started my 2nd trimester with baby #2, and baby #1 is a 15 month old energizer bunny!

EDGE ME! We’re living life on the edge right now as we prepare for a cross-country, work-related relocation to the NYC area. With our house sold and still negotiating on the new house, we’re heading into a couple of month of temporary housing (in two different cities). I can’t wait to get settled and to begin decorating the new home!

EDGE ME!
I would love to do more adrenaline-junkie activities (scuba, skydive, zipline, etc), but finances are just… blergh. Instead, we live life dangerously by playing football. Just like the pros. Only, 2 hand touch & casually. Same thing.
lauren says
EDGE ME! Last year my husband and I converted a van into a camper and traveled the US for 2-months for an adventure we’ll never forget. I’d say that’s pretty edgy. :)

Edge me! I don’t particularly live life on the edge, but I did learn how to wire an electrical outlet yesterday. Wild and crazy, I know, but for someone who has always said she wouldn’t ever do electrical it’s pretty out-there!

EDGE ME!!
I’m pretty adventurous when it comes to trying new things whether it be exotic food or ziplining (by myself because the hubby was too chicken) for the first time. However, I rarely get out to do anything new.

Keley says

I won’t always set my DVR for a “series” recording even though I’ll want to watch every episode – whoa, right?!
Megan says
EDGE ME! I think that if I were so lucky to win that stencil credit, I would live on the edge and pick out something bold and fun rather then my usual safe picks. I know, I’m wild and cra-zay!
Holli says
edge me! my hubby flew me around in a tiny plane & we enjoyed some negative gs
Tara says
Edge me! I live life on the edge by; Picking up and bringing home curbside “projects. Even though my husband tells me that he’d like to actually park in the garage. Tearing down the crumbling sheetrock in the bathroom. even If I’ve never done sheetrock before.B/c you can learn to do anything on youtube! Stenciling my Master bedroom ceiling, because if I have to lay there and look at that blank canvas one more night, my head might fall off! Nailing my new “habitat restore” rug to the living room floor because I’m tired of chasing it through the house. And finally, scanning the internet for my next project, because I can’t stand 80’s pine kitchen cabinet doors! STENCIL ME!

Jessica H. says
EDGE ME! I have had my eye on a few stencils from cutting edge and would love to get started stenciling and accent wall! I have 2 boys under 3 yrs old so sometimes my everyday life seems ‘on the edge’ :) other than that my husband proposed while we were in a hot air balloon and that’s probably the most edgy thing I’ve done.
