We’ve got two names to announce as the random winners this week and they are… Eileen Marie (who lives on the edge by teaching on the “mean streets of Chicago”) and Kristin M (who is the mom to a “crazy 2 year old” – which is a life on the edge that we can relate to). Congrats ladies! And for everyone else, Cutting Edge Stencils added a 20% discount code – YHL20 – that’s good through Sunday. Sweet!
Who wants to jump on the wall stencil bandwagon with us (remember when Sherry spent 14 hours stenciling our office last October? Well how does a $50 nudge sound? Because the folks at Cutting Edge Stencils are gonna give two of you a gift card that’ll cover just about any stencil in their catalog – from florals and geometrics to damasks and graphic shapes. They’ve even got a new collection of stencils created by Design Star winner Kim Myles (we especially love her gingko leaf design on the right). And is the one on the top left giving anyone else Jeff Lewis vibes?
- PRIZE: $50 to Cutting Edge Stencils
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “EDGE ME!” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … how you live life on the edge. I ask this somewhat sarcastically since life on the edge for us usually includes eating a second dessert or negotiating a good yard sale deal. But if you’ve really done (or regularly do) something thrilling or outrageous, we’d love to hear about it.
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, June 6th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: 20% off with code YHL20 through 6/17
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Cutting Edge Stencils.

Edge Me!
The only time I live on the edge is with regard to making my monthly budget!

Edge me!!
My boyfriend and I tend to walk the safer side of “dangerous”, but we did literally pack up half our possessions in one day and drive from Los Angeles to N.E. Ohio in under 48 hours for 3 months of work. We’re freelancers, so it’s not the most uncommon thing, but usually our work finds us more local, or at least with more prep/travel time. We think it was the right call, but only time will tell!

EDGE ME! Our living life on the edge – we added three kids to our family in 14 months through birth & adoption. It is wonderful and crazy :)

I am not sure I live on the edge, but I think my husband thinks some of my decorating decisions are on the edge of crazy (I think they are wonderful). I would love to stencil out bedroom!!!!!

Edge me! I’m not sure I do much ‘living on the edge’ at the moment… BUT, if given the opportunity to try stenciling a wall, I would consider that living on the edge! I’m not super adventurous when it comes to decorating our home, but in the back of my mind I’ve always thought that adding a stencil to one of the walls in our living/dining room area would really make a statement, and it would help visually separate the rooms (right now they just mesh together). I can’t seem to get myself to actually do it though, for fear that it wouldn’t look good. If I win – it will be a sign to overcome that fear!

Edge Me! I did something I’ve never done before and I did today. I used the men’s room instead of the ladies — just too long of a wait. Thankfully, I got out of there just as a man was coming in. Whew! :-)

I quit my job a few months ago with no back-up plan (except for a husband with a good job, thank goodness). It was actually on February 29 — Leap Day! I don’t know what the future holds, but I KNOW that it’s going to be better than what came before.

EDGE ME!
I live life on the edge by working out everyday. In September of last year I went from couch potato to fitness freak by joining up with a local women’s boot camp program. We workout everyday, outdoors, even through the winter at a local park. I had watched the class taking place before, and wished I could do it, but never thought I could. I took the leap in September and am amazed at what I realize I CAN do. I went from not being able to run for even 20 seconds, to having completed three 5k’s this year, including one at Walt Disney World. My goal next year is to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon at WDW. I have also lost 25 lbs, so far, and continuing to go down. I love it, and cannot imagine quitting. I can now call myself an athlete.
