FLOR ME! My favorite season is summer for sure. Being able to have the windows open and walk barefoot in the house, being able to really enjoy being outside without having to bundle up (I live in the Chicago area), I appreciate every single minute of summer. Thanks for making me think about summer when I know they’re predicting 30’s and snow again in a couple of days. Thanks even more for the opportunity to maybe win a bunch of FLOR tiles!

FLOR ME!!!!!
my favorite season is spring. and it’s kind of for the generic reason of seeing everything BURST open with life, but it’s taken on a whole new meaning ever since i’ve moved to minnesota. i’m originally from nyc, so spring was always just when the weather went from 40 degrees to 60 degrees and i got to wear sandals again. but in minnesota it is so much more. our winters here are so incredibly cold (as in canceling elementary schools in my county cause it was -35 with the windchill and the kids would get frostbite waiting for the bus) and so incredibly long (as in i had to shovel my walk for trick-or-treaters and we’re getting 3-6 inches of snow on wednesday. seriously). we all brave this winters together and so when the sun finally says “hello” the entire state is just spazzy with happiness. every year there is this crazy communal energy filled with giddiness, relief and immense appreciation. its great to be a part of that.
