Is it hot in here or is it just these? Har har. But seriously, Air & Water offers a slew of heating, cooling and even humidifying products for your home, and this week one of you is gonna score one of these electric fireplaces on the house:
Whether you go for the modern and colorful Mini Cube ($100), the large and traditional Lincoln ($300) or something in between, like the Danville or the Compact Electric ($130) you’ll be adding function and ambiance to any less-than-warm space. My mom actually has one like the Compact Electric and it was quite a hit over the Christmas holiday (the one-button remote couldn’t have been easier).
So here’s how to enter:
- PRIZE: One electric fireplace from Air & Water (choose from the Mini Cube, Lincoln, Danville or Compact Electric).
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “HEAT ME UP!” and…
- BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re staying warm this winter (new coat? lots of hot chocolate?) or if your area’s weather has even required any stay-warm tactics (we had one of the coldest Decembers on record, but maybe you’ve been enjoying t-shirt weather?)
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, January 5th at 8pm EST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The 48 contiguous United States
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Random.org has chosen a winner and it’s… Annette Nelson (who keeps warm by heating up a rice bag she made from Sew Mama Sew). Congrats!
Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Air & Water.

As for how are we staying warm this winter– we moved from Syracuse, NY to Connecticut and the difference in weather is incredible. I haven’t missed those 6 feet of snow that they got at all!

HEAT ME UP! We are staying warm this winter, but not the way we wanted to be. One of the glass doors on our woodburning stove broke, and it has taken a MONTH for the company to finally get the glass in that we needed! So much for saving money on heat this winter!! But thank God for staying warm anyway!
Megan Ray says
Heat me up!
We try to do the keep the heat not too high and wear a sweater when we’re home to stay warm. Although a delicious warm beverage (coffee, cocoa) helps too! However, I’d really love a fireplace!

We heat our house by burning our woodstove. It’s FREE heat(since we cut the firewood ourselves), and we are able to keep the main level of our house at a constant 84 degrees all winter! One of these heaters would be great in our basement though!

HEAT ME UP! ~ We re-insulated the attic and put all new triple pane windows and doors in. We will never recoup the actual cost of these by heat savings, but it sure makes it toastier in the house!

We use an electric blanket at night and turn the heat way down, to 56, just so the pipes don’t freeze. We also use rice packs heated in the microwave when we don’t use the electric blanket.
Ashley Crouch says
HEAT ME UP!
We have a heat pump, a wood stove, and we dress warmly. The heat pump helps us maintain a coolish temp, the wood stove warms up our den, and a hoodie and socks are a must at our house. Nothing like ceramic tile to turn toes into ice cubes ;)
Mary says
HEAT ME UP!!
