Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I have so many things from Target that I can’t narrow it down! But, I love that I can always find the perfect lamp shade there!

    I’m a target lady! In fact, we just spent (gulp) $300 there this weekend. Including a pre-lit 4 ft. xmas tree to go in our 9 month old’s room for the holidays – to hold our collection of soft ornaments, icicle lights for the house – been wanting to get those for 2 years, and a stocking holder to add baby’s stocking to the mantle. Plus the usual milk, cheese, frozen food, toilet paper, etc.! Oh, and TWO PAIRS of fabulous boots for meeeee!!!!

    My favorite item from Target is my daughter’s blanket. It’s satin on one side and a super cuddly minky dot on the other. I love it! I wish they had one in my size, and hopefully not pink either :)

    I’m a Target lady all the way!!! This has nothing to do with house hold things, but my favorite thing I have bought from Target is a pair of red, classy, high heels for only $6.50!! People always ask me where I got them. I LOVE them!

    My favorite recently-scored item from Target would have to be my blue floor cushion that I bought for $10. It’s perfect for when we run out of seats, especially since I hate sitting directly on the floor!

    Terget…isn’t that how she says it? She is hilarious! Bangs that go all around her head?! I used to work for someone like that.

    Best score, a clearance blanket for my new bedroom when I first moved out on my own. It was the perfect colors, brown and cranberry. Plus, it fit into my “first job out of college, working as a receptionist job.”

    I’m a Target Lady!

    I love browsing the off-the-beaten-path sale aisles at Target. My favorite find was 2 plain black picture frames for about $2 each. I bought some cheap mats at Michael’s and voila! Instant fancy picture frame!

    I’m a Target Lady!

    One of my favorite Target purchases/gifts was the black velvet stools at the end of my bed. I got one as a gift and the other I went about bought myself. Best part was they were both bought on clearance!

    I’ve gotten many sweet scores from Target – anything from the dollar isles, the rug for my baby daughter’s room, some awesome sweaters for our ski trip to Lake Tahoe, the costume for before mentioned baby daughter’s first Halloween…etc etc etc.

    I’M A TARGET LADY. I love this foldable bookcase that I bought at Target like 8 years ago. At the time it was my only pieces of furniture that I didn’t have to build because it just folded. I use it now to store cookbooks and I still like it.

    We are suckers for Target clearance shopping – we’ve found so many good deals, I’m not sure I could pick just one! Our most recent purchase was some ADORABLE baby clothes (all on clearance, of course) for our little girl’s 6 month photos!
