Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’m a target lady! OOOOOOooooooooo lord, am I a target lady?!

    Hundreds of awesome deals, but one of my faves is a tall standing lamp that was on clearance for $40 – originally $100. It has a bamboo-looking base with a dark red shade. LOVE IT!

    Trying to pick one favorite item from Target is like the two of you trying to decide if Burger or Clara is cuter– it’s impossible! I shop there for clothes, gifts, home decor, and so much more. I’m a huge fan of the clearence endcaps where I’ve picked up great steals like table runners, mugs, and bowls for less than $10!

    I love a bookcase I scored at Target for my living room. It’s has a cherry finish and works so well with my other furniture while storing photos and some favorite books.

    I think my favorite finds from Tar-jay are in the clothing department, though now that I’ve got an apt to call my own, the home decor section seems to see more and more of me!

    I’m a target lady!

    One of my favorite finds was a ear small blue vase. It is my go to vase. It was really cheap and totally stylish. The top is small enough that I can put cut flowers from my yard in it and it looks fabulous.

    Seriously. I love that dang store. I love that the HQ is in my city – there’s at least one Target in every suburb around here!

    One of my favorite recent scores was a set of smokey glass lamps (that look a lot like the one that you have in the “We’re Digging” section) and cream-colored lampshades for under $60. I think the full price of each lamp was something like $65 or $70. Go, clearance end caps!!! :)

    Hard to pick a favorite. Some days I look down and realize that I am literally a walking target ad, as every piece of clothing (down to my socks and skivvies) was purchased at target.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!! Favorite item purchased from Target has been my exercise ball that I’ve used as a desk chair, birthing ball, deflatable “rocking chair” (read “deflated, packed in my suitcase, and reinflated in the hotel room”) when traveling with my then-infant, and best toy ever for my now-toddler. Haven’t used it for its actual exercise purposes to date. :)

    And my favorite item that I’ve ever purchased at Target: my cheapo but cutesy every day plastic plates. They are plastic, cute, and they were like a buck each! Looove Target and their deals!

    I’M A TARGET LADY – Our latest item of joy from Target was a super toaster/convection oven. And it was on sale! Believe it or not, we’re trying to make an old 1950’s double car garage into a home! So the oven was a necessary and already well-loved addition.

    I picked up a branch candle holder last holiday season that I absolutely love…I leave it out all year long! I’m also crazy about their Carson bookcases; I’m getting ready to add a few to my home office.

    I’M A TARGET LADY! My favorite target purchase was a wonderful cream colored shag rug for the livingroom hardwood floor. I bought our bedroom lamps and night stands at target, plus lot of other favorites! I can always find affordable decorative accessories for the home.

    I’M A TARGET LADY – My favorite purchase at Target is a recurring one – Target Baby Formula (Soy) for our little guy. Same size as (but half the price of) the GoodStart brand we used to use!

    i’m a target lady.

    i love everything about target. there isn’t one within 45 minutes of where i grew up, so going there was always a special treat when we came to the city. now i have one in walking distance. i go there way too much! :)

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!!

    My husband and I wouldn’t be clothed if it weren’t for Target, and we love all of their home supplies. Could spend hours there…one of our best purchases was a big black bookcase. or maybe the little red telephone booth for $10 that holds sentimental value for us both.
