Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    My favorite recent Target purchase is an awesome wire basket for the centerpiece on my dining room table. I can just change the fillers: fresh fruit, holiday ornaments, the possibilities are endless…oh, and it was on clearance!!

    Happy birthday John!

    I’m totally a target lady! It’s my favorite store! Even my daughter likes it. Anyway, some recent great finds are polka dot sheets that I used to sew a shirt for my daughter, a set of pink fishy sheets that used to sew a dress, and we love our storage ottoman (the one you guys have) and want another one or two or several. :)

    I’m a Target lady! I love Target. I get all sorts of stuff there, but the oddest thing was a pretty little hourglass with turquoise sand in it. I think it’s really a half-hour glass, actually, judging from the times I’ve put it to use. But that’s beside the point. :)

    Name my favorite target item? There are just too many! I love a little round, chunky, red stitched “leather” clock, my fleece jacket, my bookcase…I could go on and on. What I’m loving most these days at Target is all the gluten free food they carry for more affordable prices than the grocery store…THANK YOU TARGET!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    My favorite thing to buy at target is the Halloween-themed anniversary cards I’ve been giving my finacee for the past six years. Target always has the Halloween “love” themed cards and every year he’s gotten one from me. I love that about target! Next year we won’t have Halloween as our anniversary anymore (our wedding is in June), but I still plan on getting him spooky love cards.

    (I know I cheated by using a type of item rather than a single item, but it is my favorite thing about Target!)

    My favorite purchase from Target ever – About an hour ago I purchased three toys/Christmas gifts (Leapster, Tag items) for nephews. All are $39.99 at Amazon and I scored them for $5 a piece after coupons.

    More moolah for pretty furniture/paint/clocks/etc for my own home!

    My favorite item I ever bought was a leopard print throw blanket which is super soft and warm – It was an identical one I saw at one of the expensive stores, for 1/3 the price!

    Choosing the best thing I’ve ever gotten from Target is sort of like asking a parent to choose their favorite child, but, if I have to choose… I’ll say my brown storage ottoman (the same one you guys rock off of the laundry area). I lusted after it forever, and when I finally got it, it was the best day ever!

    I don’t even know where to start on favorite Target items. It might be, though, the excessively adorable black tutu dress I got there a year or so ago. That thing is dynamite. Close second- gorgeous round collage frames holding about 25 pictures each. They’re huge, and one has an inlaid mirror that is awesome- wake up to those every morning!

    Target rocks! I am for sure a Target lady and go there at least 3 times per week. My favorite score(s) are the cute outfits I find for my daughter. So reasonable in price and stylish. A couple weeks ago I even found her a cute fall hoodie on clearance for $2.38. Cha-ching!

    …and I score big everytime I buy the Archer Farms salsa. The flavors are wildly delicious, sweet & spicy, and available exclusively at Target. Yum!

    I’M A TARGET LADY! I think my favorite target purchase would have to be my fabric shower curtain. It’s adorable and if it needs a good cleaning I can just throw it in the wash instead of scrubbing it like crazy. And I’m moving into a new place this month so I’d love to stock up on more cute and functional things from Tar-jay!

    My favorite thing from Target is our dining room set! We looked EVERYWHERE and the one at Target matched our taste, was made of wood and fit in our budget!!! Go Target!

    I’m a target lady! I can’t pick a favorite thing from Target–but I did just get a curtain rod from there so pretty soon it will be buh-bye to those ugly vertical blinds that came with the house!

    I’M A TARGET LADY! I am not allowed to shop in Target without supervision because I always buy everything in site in there! My favorite item would have to be the black ruffle blouse I bought there years ago–before ruffles were even “in” and I continue to get compliments on it today!
