Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    My item(s) are not home related but child related. 2 years ago I got my then 12 month old daughter multiple Disney princess costumes for 90% off after Halloween. When we take her back to Disney in a couple of years I will have only paid $3 for her costumes where the parks are selling them (nicer ones, yes) for $60+.

    Im a target lady–my top target score is probably the 700 count sheets I got there

    Not that there is anything I dont like that I got from target..and I love that its less than a mile from my house and I can walk there!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    My favorite Tar-jay purchase is a black wrought iron framed mirror. Right now the black works with our decor, but I love knowing I can repaint it to give it new life.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!! Oh man, I could write for days upon days on the deals I’ve found!! But one of my favorite finds was a storage ottoman for….drum roll please–$14.98!! on clearance. And not just a regular suede one color storage ottoman. Nope, it was regularly priced over $50 and has a nice pattern! For fun, I’ll share another–LOVELY night stands for $34.98 each on clearance!! SO nice. I literally ran and got a cart when I saw them on clearance and put 2 in my cart and then came back and bought another one which sits in our living room!! I go to target at least 3 times a week and I know they think I’m casing the joint, but I just really love the store!! And…here’s a crazy secret–sometimes I drive 20 minutes out to our larger Target JUST to walk around and look at their clearance. My husband will call and be like–where are you? are you in Target walking around?!! LOL!! Super excited about this give away!! And p.s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :-D

    This will sound dorky, but my favorite item from Target is my vacuum!! I never knew how sucky (ha!) my old vacuum was until I got the new one.

    I’m a Target Lady!

    Best thing I ever bought at Target was a cute yellow utensil caddy. I used it so many times last summer when we’d eat outdoors and it’s perfect when we’re entertaining!

    I’m a Target Lady! This time of year, I do all my Angel Tree shopping at Target because they have a fantastic selection of kids toys, bikes, clothes, etc. And they have great home goods on the cheap!

    My most recent fav was a cream colored throw pillow that has a soft and furry texture. My daughter has now claimed that pillow for her own and likes to sit on it and “read” (she is 14 months).

    My favorite purchase was a 4-pc brass lamp set for under $30 on clearance!

    I’m not a big black friday shopper, but last year I stopped at Target on a whim. I ended up picking up four sweaters for $9 each. I loved them, and wore them pretty much all last winter.

    Target is by far one of my favorite stores! I’ve made far too many wonderful purchases to pick just one, but my current favorite is their plush blankets that I can wrap up in when it’s warm and watch a movie :)

    A pre-lit Christmas tree for $35 on Black Friday. I had to hunt around in my town for it, but it was well worth it!

    I love the christmas decor I’ve picked up at target in the past. They always seem to have what I’m looking for. I also always go a look at their clearance after christmas. This year I hope I can score some string lights and lots of ornaments for our church for next year.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    I’m embarassed to say that my favorite thing I ever got at Target is a pair of blue track pants that I bought at the Target in Culver City, California at least 15 years ago…AND I STILL WEAR THEM! Aside from re-stitching the bottom of the pockets, they are still as good as new, I don’t even want to know what indestructible material they must be made of!

    My friends refer to them as my “weekend pants”.

    There are way too many favorite items in our home to narrow it down…but I will say that I love that I can go to Target and find anything we need and inspiration for things we don’t need!

    I have so many awesome target buys, but my current fave is the Caldrea hand soap, counter cleaner, and dish soap. The three came in a cute silver holder that looks so cute on the kitchen counter!
