Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’m a TARGET LADY!

    I’ve tried to self-ban myself from that store forever now, given the fact that I can’t go in there without spending at least $40! I’ve had a lot of great Target finds, including a set of Liberty of London dinner plates that cost me a total of $2, but my latest Target obsession is Method Kitchen Hand Wash in lemongrass. It’s amazing – one wash eliminates odors from hands, a life saver for someone who not only cooks but also washes the dishes and cleans the house without gloves! In addition to getting smells of hands, the soap itself smells great too!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    I think my favorite target find is my bedroom lamps. I love them just as much now as I did four years ago when I put them on my wedding registry. Currently I love all their baby stuff – the little boy clothes are so cute. I have a hard time controlling myself when I enter target’s baby department. :) Also, when it turned out that breastfeeding just wasn’t going to be in the cards for me, the target formula was a lifesaver. My son was not doing well on the Similac brand, and then we switched to Up and Up, and all his digestive issues cleared right up. Sweet!

    I’m a target lady – because I shop there for everything -(im there at leat 2-3x a week!) and I never feel guilty!!! So many bargains & great selections.

    My most favorite jewelry is from target. But in terms of home stuff, I bought an amazing coffee table there for $90. When it no longer fit my style, I sanded it down and painted it a glossy black and resurfaced it with leftover wainscoting and new hardware. Love, love…

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!!

    I’ve bought so much at target over the years, it’s hard to choose just one favorite… probably the quilt set I bought a few years ago. It had the perfect colors for my room, was super comfy, and exactly the right weight (not too heavy, not too light and perfect for layering with extra blankets in the winter). Sadly, we have completely worn it out and I’m on the hunt for some new bedding. A gift card would certianly help with that!! : )

    I’M A TARGET LADY! My favorite thing I have ever purchased at Target has got to be our Christmas tree! It’s beautiful and…it was on sale because we bought it a few days before Christmas when our last one officially went to Christmas tree heaven.     i’M A TARGET LADY!!!!!

    I buy a lot of things at Target but surprisingly what I fell in love with was a set of teal measuring spoons and cups I got for under $20.00! Every time I whip them out for a recipe it brighten’s my day and I cannot help but to smile. Gotta love Target!!!

    I’m a target lady!

    I lucked out–no one in my town liked the orla kiely items, except for me. I kept an eye out and waited for the 2nd round of clearance markdowns. I was able to pick up a dozen of the mugs in a variety of patterns, 2 packs of coasters, 3 table cloths, 2 packs of placemates, and a pack of dishtowels all for under $50!

    Would it be sad/bad to admit it’s Gobstoppers? I can’t find those things anywhere else! I also scored a really cool trunk from Target years ago. That thing was a life saver in college!

    I love love love Target and score there often. I work the clearance racks from 30%-75% off-woo hoo I love the hunt. I recently scored the cutest Paul Frank hoodie for my little boy-$5 and the bonus is that he loves it and it is stylish enough for mama.

    I am A TARGET LADY!

    I scored 2 rattan ottomans for $40!! They have a soft cushion at the top, so even though you are sitting on what would seem like rough grass like material, they are actually super comfy! We use them indoors and out!
