Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’M A TARGET LADY! I was a super huge fan that they have a huge baby goods collection. So for our new little one, I was thrilled to register and score the Target line of Aiden and Anais blankets, which saved us in the early months when our babe only slept when she was swaddled. Hours of sleep thanks to those trusty blankets.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!!! My favorite Target item is probably my two black trunks that I use as end tables. They’re huge and perfect for storing things out of sight.

    I’m a Target Lady! My favorite item is a magnetic note pad from the $1 section. It has a cute little penguin on the bottom. I’m sure a lot of people would find it tacky, but it’s super handy to build a grocery list right on the fridge when something runs out. And the penguin makes me smile.

    I got a purse there several years ago and I still adore it. Not to mention the many home decor items, clothing items, and other miscellaneous items that I have all around my house! (Like our TV we bought last year on Black Friday. Woohoo!)

    I’m a Target Lady! At the moment, my favorite is the set of black frames in different sizes for cheap! It made it easy to make a wall collage that looked pulled together.

    I’m a Target Lady!
    My favorite thing from Target is hard to pick (I’m there literally every week!), but probably a big faux leather tray I got there. I use it for EVERYTHING; my couch buddy to hold drinks/popcorn, breakfast in bed for the hubby, food server for the table, I even fold laundry on it and take it back to be put away. It is so useful and pretty. :)

    I’M A TARGET LADY! Although there’s no way I could ever pick just one favorite item from Target, I really appreciate the Dyson vacuum I own that was bought on clearance because it was the pink “Breast Cancer Awareness” model and it hadn’t sold by November! Crazy deals like that just blow my mind.

    Recently scored some CHEAP lamps (as in $6 a piece) on the clearance shelves at the end of the aisle. I love those little clearance shelves on the ends!!

    I’M A TARGET LADY because I heart just about everything there. Clothes, bedding, furniture, holiday decor, artwork. Its my favorite place to just browse around and get ideas. Plus, its stylish stuff I can afford (and I’m on a teeny tiny budget!) My absolute favorite thing (which is really, very hard to pick because I love everything) would be the two Liberty of London lamp shades I picked up. They’re modern, whimsical, and black and white. Everything I needed to pull my living room together!

    I’m a Target lady! I bought 2 wooden end tables from Target when my husband and I bought our first home about 7 years ago. I recently painted them turquoise, which gave them a totally new look.

    I never leave that store spending under $50. I love my Dwell Studio yellow rosette pillows! Also most recently I snagged some shabby chic vintage style numbered canisters! I watched them for a while and grabbed them when they went on sale!

    I’m a TARGET LADY, and I love just finding stuff on the endcaps of the aisles or on their clearance racks. I love buying a bunch of kids shoes for like 3 or 4 dollars a pair.
