***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!
Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:
That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!
- PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

I’d do some classic white subway tiles in our bathroom, or maybe do some YHLesque penny tiles instead!
Diana says
TILE ME! This couldn’t have come at a better time! We have just ripped apart our fireplace and are trying to decide on tile for it. If all goes well, our kitchen backsplash will follow!
Jen says

Kristen says
TILE ME!!
We just bought our first house, and it’s kind of a fixer-upper. The bathroom shower desperately needs to be re-tiled; there are areas without grout and/or tile, and we are nervous what kind of mildew problems might be waiting for us. This would be such a big help!
Amanda G. says
TILE ME!
My mom has an old half bath in her home( and I mean old, the house was built in 1875!) that is desperately in need of an update. This would be an amazing help!
Hannah says
Tile Me!! My husband and I just bought our first house, a funky 60’s ranch. We are in love, but the bathroom needs some serious attention! Would love to use these supplies for a much needed flooring and shower update!

Allison says
TILE ME! The previous owners of our house put black stained pine on the floors of our kitchen in a house that otherwise has beautiful 80 year old walnut floors in the rest of the house. Needless to say, we need a new kitchen floor!
K.J. Epp says
TILE ME!!! Our master bathroom is ripped down to the studs. We need shower tile STAT!

Mara Smith says
TILE ME! There are so many places we could use this give away in our home. Kitchen would look awesome with subway tile. Bathrooms would look so much better without the shower inserts. The possibilities are endless really!
Jessica says
TILE ME!
What couldn’t use some fresh tile in our 100-year-old house?! The bathroom is currently stick and press tiles, the kitchen is cracking linoleum, and our shower tile was definitely a (poorly done) DIY job. I would be so ecstatic to win this!
Amy T says
TILE ME! We would love some tile for a full bathroom overhaul!!! =)
Amy says
Tile me! I would love to either re-tile our master shower or do a kitchen backsplash!
Andrea says
TILE ME!
There are so many places in my 1950s-era home that could use new tile; I’d probably start with the original plastic (!) 4×4 tiles that are loosely glued to the wall in our kitchen in the name of a backsplash. I’ve already painted over them, because they were godawful baby pink and blue, but they’re starting to fall down from the heat and steam. Yuck.
Rachael says
TILE ME! I would love to redo our kitchen floor, which is hideous linoleum. The pattern is this awful fake-stone stuff that always looks like it has splotches of dirt everywhere – in fact, when we first moved in I scrubbed some of the splotches so hard it stripped the finish. Oops.
Cristen says
TILE ME!! We just bought a home and the kitchen and bathrooms desperately need some updated floors. I would love to replace the dated linoleum with tile!
Jessie says
TILE ME- the bathroom!
Samantha says
TILE ME!
My bathrooms could use a new floor and backsplash. :)
Jennifer says
TILE ME!!! I have a master bathroom with plywood floors, gyp board walls, and no fixtures… our plan is to finish it in 2012 and tile would be essential in turning this room around! Please help! $1500 may be enough to help with the kitchen backsplash as well!
Cindy says
TILE ME! We are finishing our basement and adding a bathroom with a custom shower. No prefabs fit:( This is exactly what we need!
Lorel B says
TILE ME!!!! My master bathroom is in dire need of a redo! :)
Eve says
TILE ME! Oh my goodness, my bathroom tub surround is begging for this… the white and cobalt 4×4 random pattern needs to go!
Heather says
TILE ME!!!
I would love, love, love to re-do my bathroom floors or add a backsplash to the kitchen!
Ali says
Tile Me!
Beth says
TILE ME!! My shower is in need of some serious help!

Kristy says
Tile me! Would love to give our kitchen a face lift!
Ali says
TILE ME!!
I’d love to retile our bathroom or finally tile our fireplace surround! (I’d also love to do the backsplash in the kitchen, but that may be opening a whole can of worms we’re not ready for quite yet.) ;)
Elizabeth says
TILE ME! We are adding a kitchen backsplash and want to redo our (very green) guest bath this summer.
gwyn says
TILE ME!!!!
please oh please! we are finally adding a second bathroom to the house this spring!
Tammy says
TILE ME!
I’d love to put in a kitchen backsplash. Or replace the vinyl in my bathrooms with tile. Or update the entryway floor. Or take the laminate out of the mud room and put in tile. So many ideas!!!
theresa says
OH PLEASE TILE ME! We need new kitchen backsplash (right now it’s a hideous pink/blue swirly combo with a nice 80s blue stripe running along) and we need new hearth tiles (ritht now a tan/brown combo with bushels of wheat on them!). Please oh please TILE ME!
Amy L. says
Tile Me! My kitchen currently sports a very country-esque fruit theme tile backsplash that hopelessly clashes with the rest of the house. We really need a more modern look, and to do so that fruit needs to be harvested, stat!
Angie says
TILE ME! Our pantry really needs a decent tile floor. It was originally the kitchen, so when we rebuilt the kitchen in the dining room (after we’d tiled the floor in the den to make it the dining room)we ended up with some great cabinet space, but if I could get the floor done I’d be one step closer to moving my washer and dryer up from the basement, which would be super-cool!
Kate says
TILE ME! My PINK bathroom needs it!
Emily H. says
Tile me!
I could think of many placed to put new tile, but the bathroom (along with a tub replacement) would make our house SO much more inviting and relaxing, considering that is our main bathroom! I want to be able to show it off, not be embarrassed about it!
