***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!
Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:
That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!
- PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

Please tile me! Our bathrooms and kitchen could use new backsplashes in the worst way and, with a new baby, the budget is too tight for us to swing it right now. Thanks for a great giveaway.

TILE ME!!
What doesn’t need tiling in our house? A new backsplash, bathroom floor, wall, shower – the whole room! Our mud room since the peel and stick is more peel that stick these days…
MrsLindseyM says
TILE ME!! I would love some tile for a kitchen back splash or for some new tile flooring!!
Susan says
TILE ME! My new obsession is cobalt blue penny tile that I first saw on a magazine cover that I can’t remember the name of! I would love to use that as a backsplash in the kitchen and think it would look great with white distressed cabinets.
Jessica says
TILE ME! Any space in my house could use a tile if we win some :).
Rachel says
TILE ME! I would love to tile the backsplash in our kitchen.
Angela says
TILE ME
Oh my gosh – whoever built our house did the worst job on our kitchen backsplash and master bath tile. They are so sloppy… tile just stops in weird places and has no finished edges and some of them are even upside down. I would love to fix up the tile in both of those rooms.
Leslie says
TILE ME!
Our bathroom shower needs tile badly.
Molly K says
TILE ME!! Oh man, we are gearing up for a full bathroom reno (demo starts in two weeks) and we still haven’t bought the floor tile or subway tile for the walls. My husband and I would SO put this prize to good use! :)
Christina says
TILE ME!! It’s so hard to narrow it down to one place. Our bathroom is slowly trying to fall apart, but I hate the kitchen. We currently have laminate counter and backsplash that looks like really fake wood. It’s awful.
Josh says
Tile me! We need new tile in our master bath. It is fugly and the grout is stained.
Katie says
Tile me. Kitchen backsplash. Been in house 9 years and still need to get on that.

TILE ME! I would love to do a backsplash in our kitchen!
Heather says
TILE ME!! I just bought my first house in September. The builder used the the bathroom tile for the backslash in the kitchen. My kitchen has shiny beige bathroom tile! I would love to redo the backsplash to go with the rest of the modern upgrades I’ve done throughout the house (with inspiration from YHL of course!).
Colleen says
TILE ME!
I could address each bonus question you asked but mainly, we re-did our kitchen entirely, with the exception of the gorgeous linear glass-tile we selected, TWO years ago… With some out-of-network medical bills, those walls are still waiting, as are my white 90s-tile master and guest bathrooms, just begging to be revamped. Tile me, please!
Jillian says
TILE ME! Please! :-)
I could use this gift card as I am currently planning my master bathroom remodel! This amount would cover my whole teeny tiny bathroom! I have already ordered some sample tile from the Tile Shop; I should receive it this week! I am leaning towards the same penny tile for my shower as you used for your backsplash! So pick me! Thanks! :-D
DeNacho says
TILE ME! would love to redo my bath! it looks so dated after doing our kitchen last year!
Sunny says
TILE ME!! We are finishing our basement and flooring is so expensive, this would be a huge help and get the project moving a little faster than it is now. :)

My wife hates the kitchen. New backsplash would be great.
Timmi says
TILE ME Well I guess I need to buy a house first (in the process!) but I’m sure whatever we buy this will give us a headstart on our DIY makeover I’m sure it will need
Michael says
TILE ME! My bathroom awaits!
Claudie says
Tile Me! My bathroom needs new tile in a really big way. Let’s just say cracked tile…

TILE ME! Please! We are adding a basement bathroom, that could use some on the floor and in the shower! Also, our kitchen cupboards are getting painted soon (thanks for your play by play!) and a new backsplash will be needed shortly after!

I’ve been wanting to do the backsplash in my kitchen, this would definitely help!
Bettina says
TILE ME!! Goodness, with that amount I’d tile the guest bathroom and my horrible kitchen backsplash! My house was built in the 70s and we’ve been working on it slowly but surely–you guys are my heros!
aron j. says
TILE ME!! We bought our house and it doesn’t even have a backsplash. It is a sad yellow color and desperately needs some help! Thank you!
Jenny Stoudt says
TILE ME
Our back door entrance, bathroom, kitchen, and fireplace all could use new tiling! We’re also about to convert a shed into a micro guest cabin and some tile in there would really make it sparkle!
Mara says
TILE ME!Our 1960s bathroom is a yellow monstrosity and we’d like to make it feel more modern. Unfortunately, the floor is tiled in a mosaic of brown-speckled yellow and white; just the thing to give you that clean feeling as you step out of the shower. I would love to replace them!
Lou says
Tile me. My bathroom floor is gross and most likely close to 35 years old. I’d love to retile it. Thanks!
Lauren H says
Tile me! We are hoping to start our master bathroom soon and could use some tile for that.

TILE ME! Our linoleum kitchen floor has cigarette burns in it from the previous owners. Worse than that is you can’t really tell because its so ugly to begin with!
Joyce says
TILE ME! We have 2 bathrooms that need a facelift badly!
Lucy says
Tile me! We’ve been planning on redoing our upstairs (used to be only until we partially finished the basement) bathroom since we saw it 6 years ago. The bathroom redo from your first house is a great source of motivation (your before is very similar to what we currently have), but, with a toddler and our second on the way, we haven’t actually done it yet.
Lark says
TILE ME!!! I would love to tile my shower and bath in my 2 bathrooms. I am thinking some nice clean, white subway tile would freshen things up.
Laura says
TILE ME
I would love to can my shower and tile it up instead
Jennifer says
TILE ME! I’m not even sure where I would start!! I would love to add a backsplash in my kitchen, but I would also love to get rid of the faux marble surround in my master bath. Thanks for this awesome giveaway

TILE ME! I would looooove to tile my kitchen floor & backsplash!
Mama Gigi says
Tile Me! I’m trying to decide between a cheapo “peel and stick” job or a real tile job right now…this sure would make that decision easier!
Jeanne says
TILE ME!!! I have a bathroom in desperate need.
Renae says
Tile me!
It would be our laundry room. It’s the room we all walk through when we come in the house. It’s the dumping ground but since we moved in and removed the nasty old linoleum it’s just been subfloor. And not good subfloor, rotting subfloor. It’s just old and decayed and I can’t wait to get something pretty, functional and easy to clean in there.
Annegirrl says
TILE ME! There are so many places I could tile right now. The top two on my list are my fireplace with its current, horrible, green, 12″ square tiles and the screened porch we are closing in this summer to make it a 4 season room attached to our kitchen. We’re planning to put electric heating cables under the tile because it gets cold in Ohio and this would go a long way to help us get it done.
