***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!
Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:
That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!
- PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME because my wife follows your blog religiously and is having me enter to win “Fab Freebie’s” so we can increase our odds. Seriously, she sent me an email with the subject line “Puuhhh-Leeeeeease!” Apparently she would like the bathroom tiled!

Candy from Candied Fabrics says
TILE ME! OMG, if I won this, I would TOTALLY parlay it into a kitchen redo! “But honey, the backsplash is already paid for…” will work, won’t it?
Ashley says
TILE ME!!! My kitchen needs a backsplash!
Olivia says
TILE ME! We just bought our first house, and the laminate flooring in the kitchen is scuffed and peeling. I could definitely use some tile there AND in the upstairs bathroom.
Kristi says
TILE ME!!! We just bought a foreclosure and fixed her all up…except for the half bath (which is the bathroom that guests will be using). It’s so 1990’s and UGLY! I’m thinking simple white subway tiles on the floors and up the walls part way (right now there is an ugly flower fake tile back board thingy there, gross). I can almost taste it (err see it).
Hillary says
TILE ME!! My kitchen needs a backsplash and the 1/2 bath in my bedroom needs a new floor (it’s original to the 60’s and smelly). Hook it up!!!!
Anna says
TILE ME! My framed and subfloored upstairs bathroom is screaming for some tilework… and a vanity, toilet and tub ;)

TILE ME! My 14 month old son keeps picking away at the nasty peel and stick tile that is likely as old as our house built in the mid 60’s. I want a new tiled kitchen floor!! =)

Courtney says
TILE ME!!!
I would do a backsplash in our kitchen or redo our fireplace…why choose? For 1500 I could probably do BOTH!
Laura says
TILE ME! Our bathroom and kitchen floors were both originally tile and are in such poor shape. The floor was sinking in one place, which caused the kitchen tile to crack quite a bit.
Sarah K says
“TILE ME” I have several tile projects – slate tile on the front porch and we plan to gut our guest bathroom this summer.
Christina says
TILE ME! I have wanted to add a tile backsplash to my kitchen since we moved in two years ago!
June says
PLEASE TILE ME! I agreed to move into our house if the kitchen got redone within a year. It’s been nearly two years and other things keep jumping in line. White subway tile would be such a huge improvement over the lemon ice formica!
Amy says
Tile Me! Oh boy where to start? Our kitchen could use a backsplash but even more important is the master bath which is currently styling some 1970’s mustard and brown linoleum. Ack.
Molly says
TILE ME!
The bathroom that we are desperate to finish before baby comes in June needs a new tile floor – when we tore up the tub that was leaking into the basement, we found ANOTHER tub underneath that was bigger, so there isn’t enough flooring to reach to the edge of the new tub we bought. AND underneath our tile is some weird dirt and concrete combination that needs to be removed before we re tile and change the vanity… oh boy.
Kate says
TILE ME –
we just moved into our home in October – would love to make the house “ours” by updating the kitchen and bathrooms!

Tile Me! I need a backsplash in my kitchen, and while I’m at it, would love do do something with my fireplace.
Amelia Davis says
TILE ME! Definitely the bathroom – it could use an overhaul like whoa.
Jayme says
Tile Me! Our master bathroom is the last room in our house for use to renovate – it got put on hold when we found out we were going to have our first baby.. he is due any day, and we are ready to get back on the project! That bathroom is horrible!
Carra says
TILE ME!!!
I could really use this tile to fix up my spare bathroom. I was planning on doing a simple facelift until I found out that the 1971 plumbing had gone bad, and was leaking into the wall on not one but both sides of the tub. Time for a total redo of that area, including drywall, new tub, and tile to the ceiling in the stall area. I am going the DIY route with a good male friend of mine, trying to save every penny possible, and have gotten the shower area down to the studs so far :) Fingers crossed!!
Nicolette says
TILE ME – we’d love to retile the upstairs guest bathroom.
Andrea says
TILE ME! Hoping to soon own a home and I know it will be a fixer-upper. Beautiful tile is one thing I don’t want to skimp on!
selina says
TILE ME!! I’d love to win – wowzers

TILE ME! I’m just going to throw it out there that we have forest green “marbled” laminate countertops in our bathroom… and matching forest green tiles too. LOTS of tile in our bathroom, all of which needs to be replaced.
