***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***
Random.org had quite the task of sifting through so many entries this week, but it has randomly selected our winner as… Kelley (who has so many ideas for how to use the gift card, including a fireplace surround, kitchen backsplash or master bath floor). Congrats!
Ready for this? It’s not only one of our biggest giveaways EVER, but it’s also a giant excuse-buster when it comes to that tile project that you’ve been putting off. This week The Tile Shop is giving one of you a whopping $1,500 prize. In case you think your eyes are playing tricks on you, allow me to demonstrate that they’re not:
That’s enough spending money to snag over $1,000 worth of tile and still have enough to get all of the installation tools you might need to DIY the job. The Tile Shop has even put together a little shopping list for you – it includes buckets, a wet saw, a notched trowel, a margin trowel, a rubber float, a mixer bar, tile nippers, knee pads, rubber spacers, flexible grout admixture, grout, a sealer kit, caulk and thinset. Wow, that was a mouthful. But at least it’ll be a free mouthful for one of you!
- PRIZE: $1500 (!!!) to spend at The Tile Shop
- TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “TILE ME” and tell us…
- BONUS QUESTION: … what could use some fresh tile in your house? Wanna finally add that backsplash to your kitchen? Or is your shower begging for a new surround? Maybe your mudroom could use a prettier floor or your fireplace could stand to be updated?
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 14th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- PRIZE SHIPS: The United States (although we do try to wrangle as many international giveaways as possible)
- DISCOUNT: Save 10% with code YHL10
- USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of The Tile Shop.

TILE ME! I would absolutely LOVE to win the $1500 to go towards redoing my master bath. Right now we have a seperate (tiny) stand up shower and garden tub. Being 8 months pregnant and trying to shave your legs in a tiny stand up is… comical to say the least. We plan to turn it into one huge shower.

Sarah says
TILE ME! I have three bathrooms all begging me to rip out that vinyl flooring and make them pretty in the way they could be. I have bath surrounds, shower stalls, and a much-abused-during-potty-training wall behind a toilet that could use a little tiling TLC.
Jane says
Tile me! We live in an 112 year of home. Our master bath is screaming for a makeover. Please, oh please random dot org pick me!
Stephanie says

My Dad has been in the middle of redoing their kitchen AND bathroom. If I win, I’m totally giving this to my parents so they can finally get a start on finishing the projects!
Stef A says
TILE ME! We just moved into a new (actually nearly 100-year-old) house and while the bathrooms have been updated, the guest bath just has a fiberglass surround. I’d LOVE to get some gorgeous tile in there!
Harmony says
TILE ME My kitchen tile is horrid, and was poorly done too. NEEDS to be replaced and this would be just the thing to get it done.

Tile me!
We are renovating our scary basement and adding a second bathroom in the process. My husband and I never thought a second bathroom was necessary until our daughter brought home a stomach bug last summer. The less said about that experience the better–just that an extra bathroom now sounds like the best idea ever! Bonus points if it has pretty tile. :)
Kelly says
TILE ME!!! We just picked out new floors, counter tops and tile for our kitchen remodeling project. All we need is the $$$! This would be perfect!
Trisha D says
TILE ME!!!
I would add some neat tile to the bathroom floor, currently it is the dreaded vinyl.
Callie L. says
Tile me! We desperately need to tile our second bathroom to make it useable! With two toddlers pottytraining one bathroom just isn’t working for us!
Laura says
TILE ME!! Our kitchen has been ‘almost done’ for months. A backsplash will make this loong project complete!
Olivia says
TILE ME!
We completely gutted our master bathroom just a few weeks ago…and I’m in the process of choosing tile as we speak! Fingers crossed that I win this, it would help out TREMENDOUSLY!
Amanda says
TILE ME! We’re about to close on a house and the kitchen’s going to need a makeover. The linoleum could sure use an upgrade!
Rebecca says
TILE ME! The only bathroom in my 1950s ranch as the original tile, which is cracked in places, coming off the wall in places, and mostly looking a little worse for wear. The mismatched gray tile plus peach and maroon color scheme is also a little hard to work with. I would love to replace the floor and wall tile in the bathroom with new tile that maintains the house’s 1950s look. Thank you!
taetae says
TILE ME!! We have a bathroom from the 1950s with cracked tile that is begging for some honeycomb flooring…

Tile me! My kitchen floors are begging for it!

TILE ME!
The kitchen backsplash and kitchen floor, $1500 of tile would be amazing!
Marissa says
TILE ME! I would use the tile for our bathroom. It was our first DIY project ever and we didn’t know you were supposed to wipe the grout away immediately. We left it on overnight. Not good! Would love to re-do it.
Amanda says
TILE ME!
Not really sure where we would use it – because we just bought our first house last week! My husband was talking about a fresh new kitchen, but closing isn’t until May, so maybe we’ll have a better idea what needs updating in the summer :)
Kelly says
TILE ME!
I’m buying my first house (closing 3/21!), and tiling the foyer and downstairs half bath is on my whopper list of “things to do post-move.” What’s there now will do, but it’s oh so scuffed and outdated, and updating it early would make coming home even nicer than it already will be!
A new backsplash would be awesome, too, but that may become part of a bigger kitchen update next year. :)
Sara says
TILE ME!!! I would do my kitchen, and bathrooms!!! I am buying a new house that has “promise” and this would help make that “promise” more of a reality!!!
Sierra says
Tile me! Our main bathroom needs a major facelift as does our in-law apartment’s bathroom, hall, and kitchen. It’s not even in our budget to redo them, but with this money it would be :)
Katie says
Tile Me! I could use an updated bathroom…please!!!!!!!!
Isabella says
Tile me!
Oh, it would be amazing to finally have a kitchen back splash, but I have a feeling our sad-looking bathroom would get first tile dibs.
Kara says
TILE ME! backsplash, shower surround, bathroom floor, outdoor decks, you name it, we need it!
Amber S. says
TiLe Me PlEaSe!!
Back splash and shower both need a definite update, would love to win :)
Brooke says
TILE ME! Great giveaway, wow! I’d love to update, gosh, everything. But I guess I’d start with the bathroom. The walls are covered in this horrible fake “tile” that’s actually a sheet of something that resembles cardboard or particle board on the back. Who thought that was a good idea?
Jenn says
TILE ME!! We are currently painting our kitchen so if I won this, I would love to tile the kitchen backsplash!
heather p says
TILE ME!! We would love to renovate our bathroom with new tile instead of the pre-fab shower thing they put in! This would be perfect timing!!
