Fab Freebie: You Pillow Designer, You

Last week we promised you’d get to design your own prize, and we’re sticking to our word thanks to InMod.com. While InMod has all sorts of already-designed modern furniture, perhaps the most intriguing offering is their design your own pillow and design your own duvet feature.

And this week InMod.com is giving away TWO pillows that our winners will be able to design themselves- that means any size, any design, any fabric and any color of their choosing. So it’s time to flex those pillow designin’ muscles of yours (we know they’re in there). Oh, and there’s also a nice little discount headed your way on Thursday for all the non-winners, so stay tuned for that.

  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us if, in your wildest dreams, you were able to launch a line of products – what would they be? A clothing line? A repertoire of baked goods like cookies and cupcakes? Or perhaps you’ve always dreamed of your own pillow empire?

    I’M A DESIGNER! If I could design anything, I would design a line of jeans that every woman in my family could wear and look good in! Specifically that don’t cost over $100!!

    “I’M A DESIGNER”. In my wildest dreams, I would design jewelry. Another possibility would be art using vintage buttons (wall art, pillows, etc).

    I’M A DESIGNER! I would have to go with shoes. I’m a teacher, so I stand all day, and I am on a constant quest for comfortable, but cute shoes. So, that is the product I would provide for the masses! :)

    I’M A DESIGNER! I would make a clothing line just for me…so my clothes are totally unique and fit me and no one else. That way, I don’t have to worry about shopping and trying on clothes all day only to make me depressed.

    I’M A DESIGNER!

    Being that I actually am a designer, I’ve wanted to get into Textile design. I think it would be a great way to combine my experience in graphic design with my passion for interior design. The other thing I would love to do is design wedding invitations. I have created them for many friends (a great, personal wedding gift) but I would like the opportunity to do it more consistently and make an income from it. :)

    If I could design my own line of anything, I’d design chic, affordable dress shoes that could accommodate custom orthotics. Weird, I know, but you have no idea how hard it is for us flat-footed, narrow-heeled, weak-ankled types!

    If I could design anything, it would be functional kitchens. I love the idea of everything having a home and things get so lost and chaotic in kitchens. Kitchens are the center of everyone’s home and you need combine functionality and warmth. Plus, there’s never enough counter space for all of the delicious cooking!

    I would love to design my own baby and children products. Anything from toys that teach children or creative blankets and soft plush toys that babies can play with and even clothes…there’s absoluty no end to what you can invent with some fabric, ribbon, and buttons (and yes Sherry you would need a sewing machine…unless you have figured out how to make clothes with the tape:)

    I’M A DESIGNER!!!
    And I really am a designer! If I could design anything, I would start a mobile hot-dog van. It would park downtown during key bar time hours. I already have the name, and I would design cute t-shirts for my cute employees, cute graphics for the van, play rocking music and it will be the main attraction downtown…besides the bars.

    However, if I won the pillow I would design something cute with a deer head or something upnorth-chic for our cabin-chic house we are renovating!
