Fab Freebie: You Pillow Designer, You

Last week we promised you’d get to design your own prize, and we’re sticking to our word thanks to InMod.com. While InMod has all sorts of already-designed modern furniture, perhaps the most intriguing offering is their design your own pillow and design your own duvet feature.

And this week InMod.com is giving away TWO pillows that our winners will be able to design themselves- that means any size, any design, any fabric and any color of their choosing. So it’s time to flex those pillow designin’ muscles of yours (we know they’re in there). Oh, and there’s also a nice little discount headed your way on Thursday for all the non-winners, so stay tuned for that.

    I’m a designer!

    …or at least it would be amazing if I really was. I would love to design paper goods – stationary, wedding invites and the like. Textiles would be fun too… I love the idea of designing something that allows people to express their own creativity as well.

    I would launch a FUN hip boys’ clothing line. I have four boys & boys’ clothes are pretty ugly in the stores, I think!!

    I’M A DESIGNER! If I could chose a line to design it would have to be something related to furniture and fabrics. I’m staying the St. Regis Monarch Resort as I type this and this hotel has the most gorgeous, unique furniture with velvet fabrics and other luxe fabrics that are getting my wheels spinning with design ideas!

    I’m a designer! If I had my own design line, I would design seasonal soft homewares (pillow covers, slipcovers, draperies, fabric tableware….) that store easily and transition a home from one season to the next.

    I once had the idea that I would make a whole bunch of Halloween costumes and rent them out. I like to sew and it sounded fun. Never did it though.

    I’m a designer!
    Really, I am. I attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Designing clothes has always been a dream of mine, and one day, it will happen. The ultimate line for me would be a couture collection of fashionable plus-size clothing. This is part of the industry that frustrates me the most. I am 1/2 Portuguese, so I have lots of curves! Unfortunately, most designers don’t get the fact that the average woman doesn’t look like the models they design these clothes for, and they put out the mumus and floral prints for us curvy ladies. Okay, rant over.
