Fab Freebies: Family Ties

This giveaway combines some of our favorite things: silhouettes, colorful art, and family (if there were a ceramic animal or a map involved, our heads might explode). So needless to say, this prize from Etsy seller Genuinely Yours gets us going. She designs graphic prints that are customized to feature your family, your choice of color, and even your preferred language (good thing, since this prize goes anywhere in the world). So this week THREE of you can pick either her modern spin on the family tree or her silhouette-y take on the family portrait (she does couples too).

    Our daughter is her father’s mini me. It’s adorable, his eyes, mouth, chin, grin. I’m hoping she and I share the same sense of humor though. She can have his smile if I’m the one that makes her smile, haha.

    Family Me!

    We love to cook, eat, and laugh. Usually all at the same time. We have been known to stand by the oven on Thanksgiving and completely denude the turkey of piping hot crispy skin BEFORE it’s carved or served. The first time my husband saw this he was horrified. I understand but – ah things you can only do with your family!

    p.s. if people outside the immediate family are coming, my mom usually makes two turkeys because she knows we can’t control ourselves! :)

    family me please! i have 5 brothers and sisters and when we get together we are very loud! except for the youngest, he doesn’t talk much. probably because he grew up with all of us talking!

    My husband and I both have really really long legs and we have a baby that’s due 10/2 of this year. The sonograms are already indicating that she’s going to be a long legged lass too! :)

    Our kids get their athletic ability from their dad and their silliness from me. Both our kids features are a great mixture of my husband and myself.
