It’s time for our monthly moment of thanks to the sponsors who make the other 30+ posts possible. Without them we might not have food on our tables or clothes on our backs (and hungry, naked blogging doesn’t make for good DIY morale). So feel free to check out some things that caught our eye this month, and peruse our usual round-up of discounts at the bottom of the post – plus a hint about Monday’s $500 giveaway!
- This “Splatter Stacks” print from Hoot Design Co. Because books make me happy.
- Shades of Light‘s dhurrie rugs, like this honeycomb guy that comes in five colors.
- Our pal Dusty’s DIY backsplash install as featured on The Tile Shop‘s homepage.
- This “Ava” bed frame from a Southwest inspired Joss & Main sale.
- Kendra Scott‘s statement necklaces, like this Valora piece in matte green.
- Entryway monogram vinyl decals from WallQuotes. This one’s for Burger.
- This office-ready paper clip inspired key hook rail from Liberty Hardware.
- Jewelry for every occasion from Lisa Leonard, like this true friend necklace.
- Custom growth charts from Urban Tickle. I, of course, like the one with the bikes.
- Fish Window Cleaning services (clean windows = more spring sunshine).
- The feline reference on the Naked Binders website that literally made me LOL.
- Royal Design Studio‘s new Bonnie Christine stencils, like this herringbone one.
- Speaking of herringbone – Cozamia‘s Wild Herringbone print rocks our socks.
- This cool vintage postcard from Ruby Lane, featuring flowers framing the US Capitol.
- Freshline Illustration‘s cheeky nursery print that can be customized too.
- These stellar house notecards from 1 Canoe 2. I kinda wanna live in them.
- Smock Paper‘s earth friendly printing methods that produce pretty cards like this one.
- Keeping up with the charm-tastic inspiration on the Heart & Stone Jewelry blog.
- The crisp line drawings available at A Vintage Poster, like this brass trumpet.
- Mirror Mate‘s Pinterest page, especially the board of blogger bathroom makeovers.
- Audrey + Gem‘s colorful watercolor animals for nurseries (including a Clara worm!)
- Food & leftover minimizing meal planning for two from Couple Supper.
- This summer ready woven bag from Red Barn Mercantile. Bring on the beach…

This is sort of unrelated, but I know you like jewelry and to also support local businesses. There is an online store based out of Richmond, VA that is always featured on another blog I read, Our Fifth House. Thought you might want to check it out, if you don’t already know about it – Charles Emerson Designs. Cool pieces and great prices!

Thanks so much! Off to check it out!

Even if the DIY morale was up, hungry naked DIY-ing doesn’t seem like a good idea either… So yay sponsers!

I know there are some other YHLibrarians out there… I love the Hoot & Co. print, but it also sort of made me cringe since that’s what so many of the books turned in at the end of the school year actually look like! Beautiful in art, nasty in reality.

I took a little trip down to Richmond today and visited both the Decorating Outlet and Shades of Light. The staff there was sooo nice. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. Anyway, I got a fabulous stellar deal on a shade and shade conversion kit for our office makeover and I just ordered your globe pendant using the 10% coupon above! Thanks for the discount and the great shopping tips!
YoungHouseLove says
Aw, I’m so glad! Thanks so much for ordering our shade Ali!

I love these posts! I am in love with the “splatter stacks” and all the whale by Audrey & Gem. I feel like I always see a new must have. I’ve been on your wait list since last Fall. I cannot wait to become part of the YHL sponsors! :)

Hi Sherry and John.
First time commenting directly to you but I just wanted to share some wallpaper you might like (if you don’t get completely discourged when you get around to removing yours) It is from a local Brisbane desginer here in Australia (no affiliation). Here is the link:

I’m giddy for the pink “rosey posey trellies”. I’ll be sure to share when we get around to interiors
And a belated congratulations on the house, it looks lovely.

I love the roundup post of sponsors. I always try to take a peek at the wonderful things they sell when I am searching for a gift for myself, my home, or even for other people.
I can’t wait for the upcoming giveaway. The Eames Rocker is a sweet hint and Monday’s giveaway is so generous! I can’t wait!

I find it hilarious that without sponsors, there would be “hungry, naked blogging,” instead of without sponsors there would be no blog. That’s dedication! :)

Hi there! Been reading your blog since you had the your 1st house and you taught how to caulk around the tub with tape to get a perfect line! I just finished up a DIY project making a canvas rug for my back deck, then I took a break to read your blog and found that it was the same black and yellow rug that I painted. Too funny! I know you love DIY so I thought I would share!
Love, Julie

Love your pendant lamp on Shades of Light… went to order today, but this coupon for 10% seems to be discontinued. Or is there a new code for the new year (she says… hoping, praying).
Thanks again, love your continued inspiration!
YoungHouseLove says
So sorry, they tend to discontinue them occasionally and then reissue a new code (not usually back to back, sometimes around a month apart) so maybe try googling for one on another site that’s running right now?
