Even though the last thing we needed were more pillows (we have a ton of them that we like to migrate from room to room) we just couldn’t pass up these fun yellow beauties from Target. So for 24 bucks a pop we took two of them home:
Sure we’ve found cheaper pillows (like this $2.50 guy from Bed Bath & Beyond) but we can’t deny how much color and fun they bring to our living room, especially since they complement the patterned yellow rug and even seem to work with the fun geometric pillow on the slipper chair nearby. Lately we’ve really been loving a few pops of bright hue in a room to wake things up for summer.
So if you want to make these babies yours, check them out right here. Oh and be sure to click the alternate photo to see the back (we love that pattern too).
They’re just so ruffled and fun that we couldn’t leave without tossing them in our cart! What have you guys snatched up as of late? Any favorite finds from Target, HomeGoods, West Elm, or beyond? What about eBay and Craigslist? Do tell.
Note: Target didn’t pay or perk us for this post or gift us the pillows- we just fell in love, bought ’em, and wanted to share the goods.

Thanks so much for calling my attention to these pillows! I loved your photos so much, I went out and bought two for my corner sofa. Now I’m considering buying a third one … what do you think? I’ve placed the 2 pillows next to each armrest, but I’d love to see one in the center/corner as well. Would this be too much? I’m planning on picking up a few more subdued throw pillows but would like these to really stand out.

What about sticking it in the middle but with the other side of the fabric showing so it’s not too matchy but still within the same tonal family? That might look mixed and matched and awesome. Another idea would be to bring in a smaller solid yellow one or a cream one or even a sand or brown one just to break things up. Hope it helps!

They look great but those are rosettes not pinwheels. :)

True dat. They just reminded us up fun state-fair-ish ferris wheels since they’re sort of fun and angular!

I recently found your blog and I love love love it! I’m also a new home owner and I’m totally “decorating challenged!” But, I’ve embraced it and I’m working on fixing it, with your help of course! So my questions is not about the pillows, although they are lovely, but about your bamboo blinds. Saw that you scored them from Walmart, but I couldn’t find them any larger than 72″ wide. How wide is your living room window? Do you have two blinds next to each other to fit the window?
Thanks so much!
YoungHouseLove says
Yup, we hung two blinds side by side and no one can tell the difference!

NO WAY! These are EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for for AGES. I have pops of yellow in my kitchen and wanted it for the lounge. Now it’s even more devastating that I can’t purchase these from Australia!!!! I don’t suppose you want to sell yours on ebay? haha. (but I’m not really laughing…just trying not to sound pillow obsessed)

Alright….I’m going to bite the bullet and shamelessly throw in a plug on my pillows- if you’re looking for something different, they might be up your alley!

Have you guys tried mixing up the pillows in the den? That may be cute with those accents of yellow. Pic please!

It’s definitely on our list! Stay tuned…

So I know I’m a little late in responding but I noticed that people have been asking about your rug and I have been on a search for something similar myself! Anyway, it’s not exactly the same but I found one with a similar look and feel and I love it!
